Not only was my dent flawlessly repaired and color matched, but my car was returned washed and completely cleaned and detailed on the inside with my rando belongings collected into a plastic bag. My seven-year-old car looks brand-new! Awesome job! Thank you Fix Auto team!

What an amazing experience. Car damage is no fun, but working with Fix Auto in Castro Valley was an outstanding experience from start to finish. They were upfront with all the work planned and were prompt with updates when things changed. The paint job and work was top notch with a great warranty to boot. Hands down the best body shop experience!

On the positive, Juan is easy to work with. On the negative, Juan not able to organize or keep his word. After having my car at Fix Auto for two weeks for repair, still missed a paint job on the mirror. Juan was emphatic that I could bring my car in any time and it would take 2 hours. WRONG! It ended up taking nearly 3 1/2 hours. These folks either don’t know, or don’t care that their customers time is valuable also. Very disappointing.

Stopped in to get an estimate and these wonderful people fixed my car right then and there. What a relief!

Fix Auto in Castro Valley did an outstanding job on my car! They painted it beautifully and went above and beyond by touching up extra paint spots and scratches that weren't even in the insurance contract. They detailed the car with love and care as if it were their own. They kept me updated on the progress, returned my car quickly, and were professional and friendly throughout the whole process. My car was hit while parked in a parking lot (hit and run) and the back left side was damaged and the back bumper was torn off. I contacted Fix Auto online and they got me in the next morning. They gave me an estimate, contacted my insurance and ordered the parts right away. They contacted me almost every day with the progress and my car was completed within 5 days...right on schedule with their estimate. Juan Gonzalez was awesome in how he explained everything and stayed in contact. I have never had as good an experience with a body shop before. They are my go-to place now. ?

Brought my Lexus to this shop to have my hood repainted. Seriously wanted to get my hood painted. Cost would be $1,500 for the hood. I asked if I removed the part and brought it in what would it cost. $1,500. If it was adjusted $100 or something I would have probably done it. I worked in body shops back in the days, Mastercraft body shop and Bermells in Hayward. We would always accept work no matter how small or big the job. I don't think he wanted the business. I decided to cover chips with a bra from Amazon. Looks Amazing. Would not recommend this location. I really wanted to spend my money locally $$ and not to Amazon.

I've been here on a couple occasions with different vehicles over the years, and so has a member of my family. Shop is very communicative with the repairs process. Staff is professional and work is done in a timely manner. My latest repair was much quicker than expected. They work with you to get the best available result for repairs. The staff have also done minor things (for ex clean interior/exterior) which I did not expect but was very happy with the extra attention.

Fix the collision damage but mess up my vehicle lights wiring. Pros: Friendly communication with customers. Cons: Messed up my vehicle lights wiring. There is no electrician or engineer at Fix Auto. My vehicle was involved in a rear-end collision, and Fix Auto took 12 days to repair it. I received a call from them on Friday at 4:00 PM, and I picked up the car around 4:50 PM. After driving for a few minutes, I noticed an issue with the vehicle's lighting system. I returned to Fix Auto, but the shop had already closed for the day. On the following Tuesday, I went back to Fix Auto for assistance. Below is a summary of my conversation with Mr. J at the shop, which was also voice recorded. Mr. J called a technician to inspect the lighting issue, and they had a short conversation in Spanish. Afterward, Mr. J informed me, "That technician was responsible for the electrical work on your car. But he said he did not do it" I responded, "But why did the wiring become wrong after 12 days in the shop of Fix Auto? Please just call an electrician to fix it." Mr. J replied, "Fix Auto has no electrician. The only chance to fix the wiring is to send my car back to manufacture to exam. If that is not Fix Auto's mistake, you would be responsible for the repair costs." Then I was thinking, "If no electrician, why did you just show me an worker who is responsible for the electrical work on my car?" "How can I prove the mistake source? Where can I claim the justice?" I then requested to review the CCTV footage to identify the cause of the problem, but Fix Auto declined my request. As the insurance company has already covered the repairs, I plan to involve AAA to investigate the work performed over the 12 days. I am hopeful that I will receive a fair resolution soon. And I will continue updating.

Fixed a deep scratch on my car and they even detailed the inside of my car as well Jose#1 and Jose#2 were both cool and they're fast would recommend this shop anytime

I recently had a repair done at Fix Auto Castro Valley. I was extremely happy with the service they provided. Juan assisted me throughout the process. He was friendly, professional and punctual. No time was wasted as everything was done per our schedule. I appreciate their good work, highly recommend them and will definitely come back if there’s a need in the future.

After being rear ended in a hit and run I decided to take my car to this shop to get the rear number repaired and they did a great job in replacing it and my car looks good as new! :) Jose was very informative gave me a timeline of about 5 days but my car was done a day earlier! I recommend this place to anyone who lives in the area and had the unfortunate happen, however parking can be a bit tricky since the lot isn’t big but they manage. If you have State Farm this place is in their network.

I’m so pleased with the great job they had done to my car from the estimator Jose Ortega to the mechanic Martin and to everyone else’s… very good customer service, friendly, honest and knowledgeable on all of their own responsibilities or tasks. Fix Auto did a great job on my 1989 GT Mustang. I am the original owner and had the car for 35 years so it means a lot to have someone take the time and do things right. Prices are very reasonable and workmanship is great.

I absolutely love this repair shop and the high quality of work. Art was very professional and kept me informed on the progress of the repairs every step of the way. The entire staff is awesome. I’m very pleased with the repairs to my vehicle. And to put the icing on the cake, they have a partnership with Enterprise Rent A Car, and when I picked my vehicle up I able to leave my rental car at the repair facility and they returned it to Enterprise. I highly recommended them!
