New to the area and broke down just outside of Mountain Home. Called a few friends and they all recommended Carter & Son's for towing service.
Called and they were out in less than an hour. Great communications and service. Mentioned I have Riadside Assistance with State Farm and rhey even did the billing for me.
Does not follow instructions i told them dont start my van and what do they do, they start it!!! Also my door wouldn't shut the way it did before the tow truck came I think they warped my door because the Bottom now sticks out a tiny bit . And I did get in contact with the owner talked to him over the phone he denied everything and wasn't sympathetic at all straight to defense mode
My Jeep broke down in the middle of nowhere on a gravel road in Marion County. I called State Farm for my roadside assistance benefit. Within an hour Carter & Sons was there. The young man was very polite and professional, and he had my Jeep home in no time. Thank you Carter & Sons for making a stressful day a little less stressful.
I have been going to Carter's for a number of years now and can trust them to do a good job. They have helped me with several problems in the past and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!
I had a great experience with Carter & Sons. They were incredibly quick and professional. My vehicle was towed and ready the very next day. They diagnosed and repaired the issue fast, and their communication throughout the whole process was excellent.

Why would I go anywhere else to have my oil changed but Carter & Sons Service Center? Because... they provide excellent honest service, fair prices and professional customer service. I highly recommend them.
My experience at Carter & Sons was excellent. They retrieved my broken down heap, diagnosed it and made repairs within a couple of hours. They were friendly and helpful, and did not even comment on the uncleanliness of the vehicle, or even the fact that the front hood closes on headlights that are held together with rubber bands and loose wire. I'd go there again.

From the time I realized I had a flat tire to the moment I was driving with my spare installed by Jessie was under 15 mins. The prompt service was incredible and Jessie was so helpful in directing me to the tire place. Definitely recommend
Went here for 2 oil changes on my truck and my wife's car. I wanted Royal Purple oil put in, They said they can purchase the oil at a higher price, or I can purchase it and bring it in. That way was cost-effective. They took a normal amount of time, and everything seemed great. Was happy with everything..... Until I changed the oil again and found yellow oil in my pan! Royal Purple is purple!!! This tells me that they never put the oil I gave them in my engine! I specifically handed the oil to the very guy who did their oil changes. As far as I am concerned, they stole my oil and put their cheap crappy oil in my vehicles! To say that I am pissed is an understatement! I will spend the rest of my time warning people of this shop! Their oil change person is a liar at best!
I pretty much exclusively use Carter and Sons for all my automotive needs. From towing to tune ups to tires and oil changes. I have 4 differentakes of automobiles and an RV and Carter and Sons takes care of them all. I find them reliable, knowledgeable and trustworthy.
Went in for gas gauge being stuck & jerking in rear-end, 10 Jan., oh while doing this , was told it was the fuel pump & fuel filter, causing this problem. Bill was outrageous. Jerking in rear-end continued, told to bring back, oh & this time the jerking was due to the rear drums, rotators ,brake pads & battery replaced,again Outrageous Bill. Had vehicle out for 2 days, jerking was still happening & almost got rear-ended, due to this problem, told to bring back& they Would Fix it. This time was told it was the Master Cylinder, again was charged a outrageous bill. I & several others, seem to believe, All This Money, they've charged me, each & everytime, hasn't solved the problem, cause everytime it was this or that causing it. They got their money & after each time, said nothing is guaranteed. That's the kind of garage, guessing what the problem is with parts being put on, that had Nothing to Do with problem. This continually happened from 10Jan.2025-11March 2025. Cost to me for all this, has been well around $3000.00. Trust issue developed here!!
Very friendly and we were in the worse way on Sunday morning with 2 trucks and a tractor stuck or buried in the mud. They came and worked the problem and figured it out. I took my truck in today and they fixed the front end and cleaned the mud out of the tires and breaks. It was a very reasonable price and my tech left his lunch break to come take my money bc I had an appt at 12:30. Thank you all that works there.
I would like to thank Carter & Sons for their prompt service on Jan 13th 2025!! Their guys. Teagan and Rodney were awesome, polite and so helpful getting my car towed due to be stuck in the snow!!
This family owned towing company is top notch! They came promptly and the man knew exactly how to load and transport our Tesla properly! (We picked up an Allen wrench in our left rear tire) We really appreciate them!!

Great service and pleasant staff. Just a good place to have your vehicle serviced. Customer for several years. They take great care of both my vehicles and are always answering questions I may have. Great place for old couples like us, as they are so polite and helpful.

Highly recommend! My daughter got my wife’s car stuck in a culvert with it high-centered and only two wheels touching the ground. Rather than just ripping it out and tearing up the car, Rodney carefully and methodically used a jack and blocks to get it out. He went above and beyond and had a good, friendly attitude throughout the process (despite badly smashing his finger). Rodney turned a bad day into a good one. Thank you!
Less than an hour after submitting my roadside assistance request with my insurance Flint from Carter and Sons had made it from mt home to flippin, checked and corrected the pressure in my spare and had them changed and me on my way home. Seriously maybe 45 minutes from the request to being done. Very professional I would and highly recommend.
These guys are awesome. I have seen the inside of many mechanic shops and I have to admit, this is one well maintained facility with a friendly staff. The mechanics all the way to the front desk are nothing but professional. In a world where customer service is considered a dying breed, this crew goes above an beyond for towing and mechanic services. I highly recommend these people for your vehicle needs. Courteous and friendly staff. Went there for just a oil change and it was performed fine. Tech reset my service reminder and was quick and clean. $5 increase in price from last oil change but other than that I'm completely satisfied. Back again for my 3rd oil change. Service was done in a short amount of time. As always Carter & Sons did a great job. See you again in 5k
Very fast and professional crew. Took care of my car quick, worked with me on maintenance options that it needed. Only real downside is it was a week before they could actually get my car in, but I'm not docking points for that; good garages have people wanting good, reputable service. Will definitely go here again for services.
I had a flat tire today and needed help- Carter and Sons was sent by my Toyota Care plan. The gentleman that helped me was fast to show up, pleasant and kind. I really appreciated it! I would recommend this business and would definitely use them again, if needed. Thank you so much!
We just started using them for our routine maintenance on both our vehicles after our previous mechanic of 9yrs moved and recommended them. I have to say they are awesome!!! Everyone was friendly and honest, especially Jason and Bob(Sorry, I didn't get the other names), service was great and completed in a timely manner at a great price.
