Brent at Jaws Towing was life saver! Our family (with two young girls) broke down in our rental car 5 mins out of Sedona on our way to the Phoenix airport. He towed our car and I asked about someone who could transport us to Phoenix airport, he took us without hesitation. We only caught our flight home Because of him. Thanks so much Brent!
Battery light came on in the middle of nowhere—cue dramatic music. My car decided it was done adulting, and we were officially stranded. Enter JAWS Towing, like the Avengers but with a tow truck. Steve rolls up, spots a missing belt faster than a mechanic with X-ray vision, and gets us hitched (the car, not romantically).
Next morning, he gives us a ride into town like it’s no big deal—just saving stranded travelers, one belt at a time. Respectful, helpful, and didn’t even flinch when I asked dumb questions. If your car throws a tantrum, call JAWS. They don’t bite.
We had an unfortunate breakdown 11 miles South of Sedona, in the middle of NoWhere.
We contacted AAA and they had Jaws towing come to the rescue. We had to wait about 45 minutes but given where we were, we were satisfied with the short wait. Doug arrived with a smile and a great “helping” attitude. He loaded our vehicle on his truck and we had a 50 minute “scenic” trip to Flagstaff for our auto repair. Doug was friendly, professional and had a “can do” attitude. Based on our experience, we would readily recommend Jaws towing, the company that will come to rescue you and not take a “bite” out of your day!
Good morning everybody , My name is Maria an this is my horror story !!! My daughter works in Sedona she locked her keys and purse and phone in her car, she got in placed her things down, started the car and the car turned off on her, so she got out and checked the battery cables, when she came to get in her car she realized that she locked her self out, she called me from a restaurant, right above where she was parked. We have AAA and called them and tried to add her but they told us that they could not come or help for 48 hours, mind you she is a single mom and so we asked them what we needed to do? They told us in order to go to her ASAP we needed to pay for her own membership, Which my husband paid $140.00 and told us that that would alert my husband so that I can call the restaurant where my daughter was to keep up her updated as It was pouring and it was getting late. My husband then gets a call from the Towing company Jaws Towing and they told him they were on the way 20 to 30 mins, which made us so happy. That was not the case. We never heard from them again My husband and I called AAA 4 times and we kept getting the run around. I had to call the Sedona police to please go check on my daughter and break her window if need be.!!! what upsets me the most is that AAA took our money no problem and this Jaws Towing took the job knowing he had no on in town. per the Owner @ Jaws he said he told AAA off the back that he had no one?? but then why did you towing guy call us an tell us he was on the way ?? my daughter did not get home until 12 am !!!! SOMETHING COULD HAVE HAPPEND TO HER!!! and the fact that you were all ok with letting her sit there and no call to us so that we could have drove ourselves there to get her is disgusting!!!! I filed a claim with AAA and told them to never use JAWS TOWING ever again no remorse no apologies disgusting !!!!!! 3 hours oh her waiting is unacceptable!!! To be honest I did not even to leave them a Star but in order for me to post I had to leave one!!!
Whatever you have to do to not use this company, DO IT!!!!!! Damage your vehicle, extremely rude, guy is so senile I'm pretty sure he doesn't even have a concept of reality, service or professionalism. Why AAA would endorse a horrible you're component like this? I don't know... AAA please get a company that won't do this to you or what is the point of even using AAA?!
I'm from out of town, was stuck on the side of the road they were polite, professional and answered on the first call sounds like anybody that had a bad experience with them was due to AAA being the middleman and not this tow company itself I'd recommend them to anyone!
My wife called AAA. They gave the job to Jaws. Jaws didn’t decline the job. Jaws was called to find out when the truck would be there and we were told they didn’t dispatch a truck but didn’t tell AAA. Two hours of waiting and we got another company to get a truck there in under an hour. Would definitely not recommend Jaws to anyone, at least through AAA.
Called Triple A as I had locked my keys in my ignition at the resort today and was quoted a wait time of an hour +. Not long after the call ended, I received a text message update where I could track the driver in real time. His arrival time was now scheduled for 6 minutes! Doug got there in great time and was very polite and professional. Highly recommend using this company for your unexpected mechanical needs - as I had a wonderful experience. Thank you again Doug! 😊
My Jeep broke down near Doe Mesa in Sedona. The driver Steve showed up in a reasonable amount of time considering
It is busy season here. Steve was awesome. Great sense of humor and we had a great chat on the way to the Jeep repair place. Would recommend them! Thanks dudes.
We called for a tow at cathedral rock trailhead. The tow showed up a reasonable time (in my opinion) later. Steve was our tower, he made sure to locate our tow parts for our car, and install/ reinstall carefully, and load onto the tow carefully. Steve showed real care and concern for us as people. Very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Tow truck driver left me stranded without a word.
Our utility trailer broke down on the side of Hwy-89A, I left the trailer & went to run some errands while waiting for the tow truck to call upon arriving.
The tow truck driver was supposed to call me when he was on his way. The driver never called, then I received a text from AAA that he had arrived, I was only 2 minutes away. But he told AAA that I wasn’t there to meet him.
I told the driver Hi, I was with the trailer.
Driver was rude from the start & never bothered to get out of his truck.
He said he saw the whole accident go down (so why did it take him 60min. to get there if he was across the street) and this wasn’t my trailer that I was just using my AAA card.
He never bothered to check my ID or my AAA membership. Said that taking a trailer would take too long and would be too much work. Said that the trailer was loaded. Which was a lie, all it had was a few bags of trash, a wheel barrel, a few rake’s & shovels. He was just lazy. Driver said he would need to call it in to AAA and have them call me.
Went back to my car because I couldn’t hear with his tow truck on & driver still never got out of the truck.
As I was in my car waiting for AAA to call me, the tow truck just LEFT without a word.
AAA called me, went over the situation with them, he couldn’t understand why they couldn’t pick it up, & instead of going round and round with this incompetent company (JAWS towing), they said they would just call a different company.
So since JAWS Towing has left me stranded on the side of Highway 89A with the trailer I’ve had plenty of time to write this review.
Stick Men Towing was suppose to be out in about 60min. They were there in 20.
The driver was very nice and super helpful. Told me not to worry these things happened.
When AAA called me to follow up I told them JAWS TOWING was NOT AAA quality and recommend the call STICK MENS first.
Easiest and most efficient tow I ever had. I was stuck on the side of 89a in Friday night traffic, very dangerous. Steve showed up in 15 minutes, charged a very fair price, and was pleasant to deal with.
Got a AAA tow from these guys, while on a roadtrip, and wanted to give them a good review, because they got us out of a really tight spot. Our driver was very nice, arrived on time, treated my car with care, and even gave us a local history and geography lesson on the way to the shop.
I use these guys all the time for towing, I own a local auto repair shop. Steve and Dan are great guys to deal with.They have always treated me with respect and they are very professional. Our parking lot is difficult for them to get there trucks in and out of but they do it almost every day. I recommend them for all towing and recovery needs. I would give them 10 stars if I could
I called my insurance Co. And told them to sent someone with some bolt cutters out to help me get my stuck spare tire from under my envoy and when Jaws arrives over 20 minutes late they didn't have bolt cutters and weren't able to do anything except drop me off at a tire shop. The driver was nice enough but they are so understaffed that he said he had to go to his next call before my problem had been resolved.
You called Jaws Towing first off the guy was very rude on the phone gave him my address told him where I was he said it will cost $95 I said fine he said he would be here within the hour. An hour and 10 minutes go by I call him back no answer my friend calls him he answers the phone and said yes I know Margaret I'm busy with another car I'll be there stop calling me... Hangs up... Arise on scene 15 to 20 minutes later we move out of the way so he can pull in besides us he looks at us shakes his head shakes his hand and drives off worst experience ever so here we are still stranded and still locked out of our car. And of course now he's not answering our phone calls so we were able to get ahold of stickmans Towing in Cottonwood and they are on their way. Unbelievable that Jaws would be so rude and then by the time they did show up to just shake his head out us and drive away without even telling us anything at all if you can unlock the car because it is a big van that's fine but the least you could have done is at least told us that before he just shook his head up and drove away he will never ever ever get my business and I made sure my insurance company will never call him either do not use this company
I had a terrible experience with this company today. The driver was working on another car and blocked my car from getting out of my parking spot. I asked him to move his truck, which he could have easily done, but instead, he threatened me!! I would watch out for these guys, or at least, this person.
Stay away! You may have to get a AAA tow from these guys (and their tow drivers are fantastic), but do not let them work on your vehicle. Total scam artists.They wanted to charge me about $1000 for a $150 alternator and 3 hours of labor (2 if you have a lift which they do). Instead they charged me $90 for a diagnostic which I now know that they didn't run or they lied about. Turns out it was a simple battery issue and not my alternator at all. Garages like this are why mechanics get a bad name.
