If you plan to recycle in Anchorage then you'll be here at the WestRock Anchorage Recycling Center often. Located right behind the NAPA Auto Parts building are multiple bins for glass, cardboard, mixed paper, newspaper, tin, aluminum, plastic bags, and plastic containers. Try to park your vehicle close to the containers, but give yourself room to get out. Be aware here, because there is very little space to drive when both sides are full of parked vehicles. Maybe it’s just the luck of the draw but the last few times I’ve gone to drop off some copper recycling they’ve either closed early or taken extended lunches.
