Stopped by O’Reilly looking for a specific tool to finish up some work on my car. The employee didn’t try to make me buy or rent it — instead, they actually looked around the store to find exactly what I needed and let me use the tool right there without any hassle. Super respectful and helpful the whole time. It’s rare to find people that actually care about helping instead of just selling. I’ll definitely be coming back to this location whenever I need parts or tools!
I had a low oil alarm on my car while driving through Birmingham and stopped here for a quarter. They had exactly what I needed and even helped me add it to my car.
Yall got to get rid of the food truck. The last few times I've been there haven't really bothered me other than the fact finding a parking spot. But today I get done buying parts walk out to the parking lot and witness someone slap a big sticker/decal on my back window. I will say it was not from the food truck vendor it was from one of their customers in a panel van buying tacos trying to promote their own business. What does it make sense and something you should realize they never came into your store and bought nothing. All they did is run me off for now on I will be going to calera or pelham. I wanted to give a shoutout to our store in Alabaster. On several different occasions I have stopped there and asked questions about different issues or had them put the machine on to check my vehicle. The people who work there are always so kind and always willing to help even if I may not be purchasing something.
Today I stopped there because I had an oil leak and I was worried about it. A very kind young African American man came out and checked my oil and even got down and looked underneath to find where it was leaking. I wish I had asked his name because he was so kind and helpful and he gave me peace of mind that it was safe to drive to my car to my mechanic. It is so rare these days to get excellent customer service so if you need auto parts, drop by O’Reilly.
I had a terrific experience at O'Reilly's the other day. I came in looking for a quart of oil for my truck. Sheldon and Charles could not have bee more helpful to me if I'd been family!! They looked up the right kind of oil, offered me funnel and paper towel so I could put it in the truck right away, and when I dropped the cap down into the engine, Sheldon reached down in (not easy on this truck) and pulled it out and even put it on correctly. Employees are very knowledgeable and helpful. They go the extra mile to get what you need, explain the options available and never try to sell you something you don't need.
Nice people. Parts are getting hard to source again. If it's not in the computer, they cannot help. Normal for the kids today. Really miss the older hot rodders that worked there.
They have the nicest people working there on 119 in Alabaster and will put a machine on your car when you have lights come on ( like the check engine light) and tell you what the problem is. It costs 00.00
Place very well organized and stock also prices were very reasonable with other competing stores which I believe O'Reilly's were the lowest. The service was excellent soon as I walked in the door I was help right out find what I needed to fix my truck, and I love that I was in and out and no time had my truck back going and I was happy. I would recommend O'Reilly's on 119 to anybody that needs automotive parts.jblucas
Great service and employees knowledge of the business. Down the street at Advance Auto Parts the employees had absolutely no idea of what or why I would need that part(temp. control resistor). They swore that my problem was wiring. I just wanted the part.
The sales rep was eager to help me, checked my battery and said it was bad which I expected as my car was hard to start at home and failed to start at the car wash. He showed me my options and was not pushy. He installed my battery. He was courteous and professional and I appreciate that.
An awesome store. They always have a great and eager attitude. Always try me put the customer first can order whatever parts that you need that they don't have.
Their customer service and item selection has greatly improved over the past few years. A friend convinced me to give them a second chance, and I am glad I did.
Service is always great. Parts are looked up and retrieved from the back quickly. Also they will let u know your options - do you want the cheapest part, or the highest quality part? The choice is yours.
Not even worth one star. ALL the staff is clueless. O'Reilly's is quick to advertise "Lowest Price Guaranteed" but their service sucks. What's the point of having the lowest price if you pay your employees pennies and they don't even know what a spark plug is. Steer away from O'Reilly's but specially this location.
Same As The One In Pelham!!! But not as big because Pelham is the Hub Store!! But closer for parts I know they will have in stock!!!

O'Reilly's always has good prices and unlike most auto parts chains, most O'Reilly's have a service where you can get hydraulic hose replacement's built for you. Which is great when you don't have time to wait for a heavy machine mechanic to show up.
My wife bought a water pump for our 2004 Envoy. I am a mechanic. I work in Pinson. When we order parts from the O'Reilly's up there they have enough sense to know that if we order a part such as a water pump for a certain year vehicle the corresponding stuff such as antifreeze should be for the same vehicle. Seems like the idiots in this one don't. They gave her antifreeze for a pre-1995 GM vehicle. I didn't notice until AFTER I poured it in. So she goes back down there and informs them of what their employee did and she would like them to replace the antifreeze for the right stuff. No charge for the flush I'm going to have to do now. The employee (not the same one who sold it to her) acknowledges that the other employee sold her the wrong stuff but says he can't refund or replace it BUT he will give her a discount. Not right as far as I'm concerned. They made the mistake. They should fix it. If this had happened at our shop the O'Reilly's up there would have gladly given us another gallon AND paid for a coolant flush. I will never darken their doorway again. Oh, almost forgot. They charged her $10 more than what they had the part listed for on THEIR website. My wife is going to call corporate. This place gives O'Reilly's a bad name.
TERRIBLE WORKERS. They're always providing inaccurate information and whenever you come in one or all of them are on their phones. These guys are pretty much getting paid to hang out.
Called in before getting a part, was promised up and down that the part came with a set, turns out that's wrong when you get there. Bought the addition and was promised up and down it'd be there next day to pick up. Get there 2 days later and they have no clue what happened to the order.
Seriously, this isn't the only bad experience here. If you plan on getting anything for your car, I HIGHLY urge you to find another place.
This store sucks they always give me the wrong part and half the time I can't return the part! If you need parts go to somewhere else. Oh most of the stuff is over priced.
