I've been owing these great people a review for a while! Back in 2023, Billy took care of an issue on my old car for a fraction of the dealership's estimate, and he advised not to worry about 1 or 2 items on the dealership's list. Shortly after, I was hit and the car was totaled, so I'm so glad I didn't get those extra items done. Fast forward to this year, and my new car had an airbag issue that Billy fixed for us for literally a quarter of the dealer's estimate, and we're so grateful. They are prompt with updates, patient in explaining details, and overall just great to work with. God bless, and thank you!
I have been taking my cars here for the last 13 years. Billy and his team have taken care of me and my cars time after time. From rebuilding an engine to simple oil changes, it does not matter. They will make sure you are taken care of. I just took in my car this week. Billy spotted the problem right away, got the part ordered and fixed everything up within 48 hours. They will always get my business, and I highly recommend anyone else to use them as well.
I came in for a timing chain job and Haigler was able to help me. It was hard finding someone in Montgomery to do it but they told me it was no problem. They fixed my car in a good matter of time and I am so grateful for them. I definitely recommend going to them if you have any problems!!

So I called early on Tuesday. Asked how busy were they. Said they could look at AC tomorrow. Brought in at 0730. Called back at 0230. Said haven't gone back. Probably not till weekend So before waisting your time...
Haigler is the only Auto Shop I use. They are honest, and reliable. I’ve recommended many friend use them, and have always had positive feedback. They done simple things for me like tire rotation, as well as replace a transmission on one of my vehicles. They are experts all the way around.
I took my son's vehicle to Haigler Auto to get a new tire. Haigler replaced the tire but when my son drove it the following week, the tire was flat. I called Haigler Auto to let them know the tire we just paid full price for (nearly $200) had already gone flat so something was wrong with it. They said I'd just need to drop it off, 1st come 1st serve, and they'd get to it when they could (typically a full day's wait). When I brought it back and dropped it off for a full day, at the end of the day they told me the tire was damaged beyond repair as it was driven on while flat (yes, I knew that, that was the issue, it went flat a week after we bought it and had it mounted at their shop). Haigler management said the tire damage was my responsibility, and I should've known there was a problem with the car's rim, which they "think" contributed to the tire going flat. they took know responsibility for the tire failure and ignorance regarding issues with the tire rim. No further options to remedy the previous cost or fix the current problem were presented to me. I do not recommend going to this agency for any car services.
Best body shop I have ever brought my car to. I was recommended haiglers by a mechanic. Reasonable pricing, unmatched customer service, and they didn't try anything on me just one estimate and everything was fixed timely.
I've been dealing with Haigler since '02. They have always done quality work on all previously owned vehicles. All needed major work and once fixed never had a problem again. The service is not cheap but you pay for quality work. They just service my '07 Marquis and it runs like a dream even with the work they suggested to be done. I will be returning for the suggested work and service for any other car that I may need servicing. Thanks Haiglers
This company was one of the BEST repair companies I have had to deal with. Kelsie was patient, kind, and very helpful with the entire process. I had the worst experience with Carshield and The Haigler family was very helpful with the carshield hassle. They helped me in a crisis and got my alternator replaced in several hours. If it hadn’t been repaired quickly, i would have to stay in Montgomery 3-4 nights and there no hotel rooms because of evacuations from Hurricane Ida. This place is great!!
I used to love this place, I've taken my car here for years now. After dropping my car off, I called and called to see if any progress had been made, nothing. A family member went by just to check on my car and they had already fixed it. They used to always call me BEFORE fixing the car, to let know the issue and how much it would cost, ya know, to be sure I could pay it. I didn't receive any of that, thankfully I had the money to pay it though. Won't be taking my car back.
Worst receptionist EVER! They need to fire her. She is rude. She makes it sound like it is an inconvenience to her when you call and try to get questions answered and updates about your repair. Was horribly rude and told me not to call them. Said she would call us when they were ready and the car was fixed. Will NEVER use hem again.
I was in the middle of recuperating from some surgery and my 18 Y/O daughter called home minutes before 5:00 PM that her car was broke down with a busted water pump. In no position to deal with this, I quickly called Haigler and they arranged for a tow truck to retrieve the car from a local parking lot that evening. Called me the next day with diagnosis, and the following day it was fixed. I have taken cars to Haigler four or five times over the past 10 years and have NEVER had a problem with the repair, or the service experience!!! Wonderful people!

I am never coming back here again. I payed $708 to get my breaks fixed. I never clearly confirmed to go ahead and fix my car. I was the on the phone with the mechanic as they talked about fixing the caliper and piston of my car. Then, I said "Ok. Hold on. Let me talk to someone else about it." I then went to get my car and they gave me my $708 bill. I told them I never agreed to get my car fixed. She tried to argue about how she heard me say "ok" to fix my car. Since I felt it wouldn't be fair to "unfix" a car. I paid anyway. I felt trapped paying $708, instead of the $45-50 checking fee. Now imagine if I didn't have the money they demanded. If you've read this far into my paragraph and still want to try them. Be sure not to use any words that can be mistaken for conformation when they are doing a job for you. Make sure they understand not to do anything to your car or they will fix it anyway and you might be trapped paying. I would only give another half a star because my car was fixed in an hour.
Had my timing belt replaced here for a reasonable price after calling 11 other places who all told me they would not work on my car. Emily answered the phone cheerfully and told me that they could get my car in. She was knowledgeable and honest. It only took them two days to fix my car and it’s running nice and smooth now. Thank you to everyone at Haigler! I will be going to them from now on.
I was in Montgomery from Missouri and ended up needing a couple of new tires for my daughter's car. Got a recommendation from a couple of local folks. The crew at Haigler took care of me and worked with our schedules to make sure we were back on the road when we needed to be. Will definitely recommend to my college kid's friends and parents in the area! Excellent service! Fair and reasonably priced.
They were the only one who fixed my vehicle while others refused. I live in Prattville and had to go to Montgomery. They did a wonderful job and it works well. Would do business with them again. They were also reasonably with the price.
If you want to be ripped off. You have arrived. I call a few places for a price to get my car inspected. Most said $30 until I made the mistake of calling Haigler. They wanted $70 to do a five minute inspection. I wonder how much they charge to do actual work????
They are pretty good, and can get complex work done quickly and effective. I took my car there for multiple years until it was totaled. I would give them 4.5 stars instead of five stars because they missed something they shouldn't have and it caused me some hassle.
Billy is a great mechanic. Honest and efficient. He got for car fixed before the time committed.Also took care of the parking break light being on without charging me extra.I would highly recommend this place. I drove one morning to the dealership(Stivers Ford) for diagnosing the sound my car was making when it went above 50 mph. The dealership calls me in the afternoon to tell me that the car has a broken PTU and will cost $2459 to fix. I called up a certified repair shop for a quote and then told me it would cost $1950. So,i said, I will pay the diagnosis fees and get me car from you. When I went to pick up the car, I found it was making horrible sounds, as if someone was hitting it with a hammer really hard. It was not drive able at all. Well,I drove it there in the morning fine. What happened in the meantime? Did they accidentally break it when testing? Did they purposely make it worse to force me to fix it? No one would know. They did not provide me with a diagnostic report for it. Even tore up and returned the check I had given for the diagnosis. Lesson learnt. Go to Billy,he is the best.
Had some work done on my Jeep and was very impressed. Great customer service and time management. If you need a ride to work while they are fixing your car, they have a shuttle service to work which was very helpful for me. Highly Recommend!
Stay away. Every single repair they have done on our cars has had to be redone. Every single one. I would challenge any of the five star raters to 100% say that their repair stood the test of time. Now also, take pictures of your vehicle inside and out before dropping it off, they cracked my dashboard and said they didn't. My father took his cars there when I was a kid and it was right
..... now, not so much. I hated to give this review because I like them and trusted them but it's the truth.
I took my vehicle to Haigler's to get an alternator installed, because the one on the vehicle had went bad (stop charging). The alternator (which was rebuilt) that Haigler's installed lasted only 1 year, but had a 2 year warranty. It caused my vehicle to fail while traveling on interstate I-85 in Montgomery, which is/was very dangerous. I had the vehicle towed to Haigler's and told the owner about what happened, and provided the paperwork. The owner refused to honor the warranty, and told me he did not want me in his shop anymore. This is a display of bad customer service and a bad attitude!
Furthermore, on several occasions, I've went to pick up my car after hours at Haigler, and have found the door of my car unlocked! I won't patronize Haigler Auto Services again, and will inform others not to do so.
Finally, I bought a new alternator and had it installed by another auto mechanic, Tech 2U You Auto. Now, I use a mobile auto mechanic (Tech 2U You Auto), to get my car fixed that visits my home on my schedule. He fixes my vehicle correctly -- the first time -- and charges reasonable rates.
