I shopped 3 other tire and brake service shops in Montgomery. Catlin, at QL was courteous, efficient, and technically competent. For those reasons I will make QL my go-to tire and service business. The Service Tech at one just down the street was staggeringly incompetent and blatantly evasive (said "they won't let me" when I asked him to print a copy of the estimate he quoted) and another competitor tried to up sale me even on top of a grossly inflated estimate. Bottom line: Employee service, product knowledge, and courtesy make the difference between a good and great business. Catlin has the total package. Whatever Stivers is paying her isn't enough.
I was driving from Alabama to Florida, and as I passed through Montgomery, my car alerted me that the engine temperature was getting dangerously high. I pulled into this Quick Lane, and Kaitlyn was amazing and quick to assist me. While they weren’t able to fix the issue on the spot (it wasn’t their fault), the entire team made sure I was comfortable and confident in continuing my drive. A gentleman, whose name I didn’t catch, took the time to explain exactly what I needed to do to ensure I could make it home safely. Their care and professionalism truly stood out, and I’m incredibly grateful for their support.
1. Different charge between the price when appointment made and actually paid after the work is completed.
2. Waiting time - Car was not ready for repair for an hour staying at parking lot even though appointment is made and arrived on time.
3. After service - went back to get it repaired again because it makes strange noise after replace of break pads but it's still not fixed, still noise.
Best technicians in town. Very through. Didn't realize how soft my brakes were till they did a brake flush. Radiator flush helped with my temperatures. No one usually tells you this stuff should be done every 30k and 80k.
This place is not the place to bring your car!
Our alternator went out in our honda minivan. We had no choice but to stop here. They charged us $1000 to replace it. After the job was done we got about 5 miles down the road and heard a tapping noise…I stopped to check and noticed a rip in the belt. We took the van back and they told us the belt was not on the pulley all the way. The power steering fluid was not filled back to the proper level as well. On our way home I heard a loud sound and stopped to check and just as I suspected the belt had shredded.
You would think for $1000 you could get better results….no such luck.
I will never come to this location ever again. My mother brings her SUV here that she purchased and she receive X amount of free oil changes. However she told me she always has to wait a bit for them to do it. I booked an appointment for 8:30, I arrived @ 8:20, they didn’t pull the vehicle in the bay until 9:33, and now @ 10:50 I’m still sitting here. I’ve heard the staff talk about food places to eat at, salesmen from the dealership has come in abs held long conversations, and it’s been 6 people to come in after me who all has reservation times. Why book an appointment and still wait over 3 1/2 hours? Why is it called Quick Lane and there’s nothing quick about it? Do they not see the concepts that their competitors locations have such as Express Oil change or Jiffy Lube have? In today’s time this is not ok.
I had an appointment for 10 :30 on a Friday... So I went in expecting a few hours at best .....got a oil change, tires rotated and one tire plugged. The staff was courteous and helpful. The comfy and spacious waiting area with tvs and vending machines was a big plus. (didn't use them but at least they are there) I've been to better and been to worse. Makes a huge difference for me when waiting hours for my car to be finished. I plan on this to be my preferred QuickLane.
TJ has been helping me and my family for years, he’s honest and goes above and beyond!. I met him when he was at the Taylor road location, he was moved for a while and I took my vehicles elsewhere, he’s been back at Taylor for a while and I’ve been back and couldn’t be more happy! Wherever TJ is at is where my business will go, Kaitlyn has been a joy to, good overall team.
Great team. Honest, knowledgeable, and kind. It can be hard to find mechanics you can trust (especially as a eoman) but these guys are IT. 10/10 recommend to anyone who wants their car in top shape with no nonsense attached.
Tj and his crew are the best people to deal with whe. It comes to getting your car fixed right the first time they are friendly and give you the best advice you need to make your visit pleasant. Great service! I love that you can get a loaner car if you need one for service that takes longer than an oil change. Conveniently located at the corner of Vaughn and Taylor Road.

Approximately a week and a half ago I visited this QuickLane location to have my tires serviced. The service was performed and I realized the next day that my wheel lock was not put back in my vehicle. I called the first time and was told that the tech that worked on my vehicle was off and the lock may be in his locker. I was also told I would be called back the following day but did not receive a call back. I call back, no one can find my lock, they state they would call me, again, no call back! I call again and was told to come up Saturday for the lock, no lock. I am then told they would have to order me a lock and it would be in Monday, I go by the shop no lock. They tell me again it would be ordered, no lock. Longer story short, they cannot produce the lock, it’s a different story every time I call and every time they promise to call and I never receive a call. Horrible customer service, lack of professionalism and lack of attention to detail!!!
I've been doing oil changes here for several years, but as of today, I've changed my mind. I was driving down the highway after changing the oil on Friday and a strange loud noise kept coming, so I had to stop the car somewhere else and look for the problem. The problem was caused by not assembling the cover after oil change. Thanks to this, I had to find a car center that wasn't even open on Sunday and keep driving while making unpleasant noises. This problem could have led to a bigger accident seriously.
2 hours for a tire repair then charge almost $40 when other places I've been is $25-$30. Was listening them tell everyone an hour on services definitely not a very quick won't be back.
quick service for an oil change. I provide my own oil and filter and the change fee is very reasonable (and quite cheaper than the 10 minute places.) Caitlin was very helpful in scheduling my appointment and I was in and out in about 30 minutes.
Be aware of hidden fees!!
I went into the shop for an alignment for vehicle (sedan). Sign posted the price to be $129. I also asked the associate working there to make sure the price was $129, he also told be the price is $129. When the work was completed after 2+ hours, bill had hidden $20+ fee called "shop fee". This fee was not posted anywhere in the shop, nor it was ever explained/disclosed. When I asked about it, he said that it's a percentage they add on for using shop tools. After arguing for little bit, I just decided to pay and get out.
He then explained there another 3% fee for using a credit card.
I ended up paying $150+ with cash to avoid credit card fee.
If I didn't have the cash, I would have to pay for the credit card fee as well.
This shop does not explain any of these hidden fee before the work starts, so be aware of the final cost before authorizing the work.
Personally, I'm not going back to this Quick Lane shop.
Didn’t have an appointment - called Kaitlyn and she got me in and out in just a few hours. Was very happy with the attention my vehicle received. Kaitlyn was very proactive in the recommendations she made for future service needs. I am a repeat customer, and will continue to be one.
I went to get some tires installed because I really needed some. Caitlyn was very attentive and got exactly what I needed. She answered any questions I had and I'd definitely go back because of the awesome service provided to me. They didn't have the tire size I needed but were able to get them quickly and put them on when promised. The customer service I received was second to none and I will definitely return for any other automotive needs.
I serviced my brakes pads and had my rotors "trimmed" here when my vehicle was around 80k miles. I had no issues with my brakes, I just knew it was time to get new ones. Well... 30,000 miles later my brakes are rubbing metal to metal on my rotors. At first, I thought it was a rock that was stuck but after taking it to my Toyota technician, he told me that my brakes had never been serviced and it looks like the original Kevlar that Toyota uses on their brakes pads. I was not happy at all, being that I have children and this was a MAJOR problem. I called QuickLane immediately and reluctantly my brakes were still under a 2 year warranty, which is also funny because their brakes are suppose to have a lifetime guarantee. When, I arrived the staff was baffled on how my brakes had worn so fast because the ball joints were fine, my front brakes were practically new and the mechanism that condenses the brakes were in perfect working order. I was charged almost $500, including a discount they gave me for their negligence, for new rotors that was completely their fault. Oh, I forgot to mention the mechanic finished my brakes and trimmed my rotors in less than a hour and a half for a job that was suppose to take at least 4 hours. I'm not happy at all with this place and the young lady at the front counter told me they have issues with this particular mechanic. I would NOT recommend this business to get your vehicle serviced. I will be contacting corporate for this incident.
Best service I have received in years! Brandon and his team did an outstanding job! They went above and beyond, all while being honest and affordable. Brandon took the time to explain what was going on with my vehicle and gave me my options. He wasn’t pushy and constantly updated me on the progress. I had a lot to get done, but I am so thankful for QuickLane! Thank you and the next time I am in Montgomery and need service on my car, I will go here!
Went in on a Saturday for an oil change and they were pretty busy. Told me it would be about 2 hours. Had my wife pick me up and when I got the text that they’d pulled me in I went ahead and went back and they were pulling it out right on time. They were extremely professional and dead on with the time frame even though they were busy. And it was cheaper that these 15 minute lube fast places by about $10. Very impressed
Quick and excellent service. Mark explained the options for possible rear brake replacement after another auto shop quoted $465. After examining my vehicle, they found that the quoted estimates were unnecessary and the final total for needed replacement parts was $100. You can’t put a price on honest service! I’ll never go anywhere else!
I had an awesome experience getting work done at QuickLane! Mark was especially helpful and made sure I was well taken care of. I’ll be returning to them in the future for any work I need done! Great prices. I especially liked the video review! It was really helpful & informative.
I wanted to share my experience because of the fantastic service I received. Please excuse if I misspell the gentleman’s name. Arcadia’s professionalism. Courteous and friendly attitude was absolutely refreshing. Not only was my oil change, tire rotation and all my wipers replaced in a timely manner. I had a issue that will be a problem if not taken care of soon. I know this is a team working together to make an upcoming issue a little bit easier to hear. This kind of service is very much appreciated. Inexpensive and fast service with a big smile can make anyone’s day better.

They were my heroes. I was driving around trying to get my oil changed, and I either heard "we can't tell you when we'll be free" or "it'll be a few hours" before I got to them. My service advisor, Mark Magoo, was really nice and helpful. They were able to get me in and out within 15-30 minutes.
The crew was and has always been great. I have a BMW X-3 and they have been able to handle ALL of my needs. This place is a little hard to get in from Vaughn only. But trust me you will be happy that you made the effort. Fair GOOD people.
Great shop!! Needed to get an oil change and tire rotations and they had my car in and out of the shop in less than 20 minutes. The technicians working on my car actually did a full and detailed inspection of my vehicle and brought me into the shop to show me what needed extra attention. I have to say they have great prices, honest technicians, and free loaner vehicles if you can't wait for the service to be done. I definitely recommend!!!
