I trusted truck performance for a while until I realized they was taking my money and giving me the wrong diagnostic on my vehicle to up the price on the repair I took my crown Victoria to them a while back got it diagnosed and they charged me for it and gave a wrong diagnostic that would’ve put me close to a $1,000 out of pocket they told me it was a shortage in my wire the reason my car won’t crank and they while have to take my manifold off to find the wire so I didn’t have the money to fix it so I sold my car for a cheap price in need of money and because I couldn’t get the car to crank. The guy I sold the car to got the car to crank and it was only the shifter cable needed to be readjusted and changed, he didn’t pay anything to repair the car he only bought a shifter cable even tho he could’ve got by with the old shifter cable. These business nowadays are over charging us to keep their business going and it’s sad life is already to hard people have kids and etc. to take care of bills and everything this is not right and it’s not just truck performance it’s almost every business you go into you guys have to stop doing this to the United States but hey you guys will have to answer to all this on judgement day you might be doing great in life now but I guarantee your not happy within yourself wonder why everything keeps going down hill for you, wonder why your energy off, wonder why you having, marriage or relationship problems, wonder why your kids are disobedient god will punish you and the ones close to you for your wrong doing plz stop doing ppl like this I lost a whole good car because of the wrong diagnostic that you guys gave me I’m not a mechanic I would’ve fixed it myself if I was also this was one of my first cars that I had for bout 12 years made so many memories and etc was supposed to be fixing the car to give to my son now I have to start from square 1 all over
One of the desk attendees, informed me the part for my vehicle had arrived; he also said the job would be finished today. I am so pleased and proud of the care and time it took them to make my vehicle perfect again.

Everything that was screwed up by the so called suppose to be certified mechanic has been properly repaired and even then they even went out of there way to correct a few other things that they saw that required attention. Amazing how 1 bad apple can quickly make a mess of the remaining apples in the bushel. Amazing people at Performance Auto repair they made sure to correct the issues and made me a Happy Old Man. Their service is great but you better hope they have it in stock. I ordered a cold air intake for my 2020 Ford Mustang a week ago the shipping eta was 2 days and I still have not gotten it installed cause it hasn't shown up. Very frustrating I know that's not there fault it's just very annoying! UPDATE: Intake came in and was installed love the difference in my car thanks and I highly recommend there work!

I have dealt with Performance Auto Repair on one other occasion some years ago and can't exactly recall what I had done, but I was pleased with the service, as I recently took a different vehicle to them with some SERIOUS suspension issues. I was initially told that it would be three to four days before they could even look at my vehicle. The very next day I received a phone call detailing what was going in with my vehicle and estimated repair time. The day after that I had my vehicle back with everything taken care of. I was extremely impressed by the turnaround and would recommend Performance Auto, especially anyone with a larger vehicle, for repair service. A big thanks to Dana as well for explaining everything clearly and keeping me in the loop during the whole process.
I highly recommend this place! My Mom and I were on our way to Charlotte, NC and were planning a night stay in Montgomery. Our battery light on the dashboard came on about 50 miles out. We made it to the hotel that night as the car dies out! We figured it was the alternator. The next morning (btw, this is Christmas Eve), we look on Google for places to service the car and two others whose sites showed opened at 7am didn’t answer the phone. So we called Performance Auto Repair at 7am thinking to leave a message because they open at 7:30am. Well the phone rang once and they answered 30 minutes earlier than their opening time! They worked hard for us, got us a towing service right away and fixed the problem by 10:30 that morning! They were a God send!! Definitely go to them when you need! Thanks guys!!
I had a great experience with this business. I have had problems with my air conditioning for months. I took my car to the dealership and it was there for a week and my air conditioning still did not work. I took my car here a few weeks ago, and they had it fixed in less than 48 hours. They were very professional and the price was reasonable, much less than others have charged me for not even fixing the problem. I would recommend this business. They take pride in what they do.

The service was great. I replaced all tje suspension components on my car o er the weekend. I came in and wanted a performance alignment specific to my car and suspension setup. They were able to get extremely close to the measurements, which is normal as all cars are not capable of achieving the perfect requirements. The technician that worked on my car "fixed" a few issues from the work and informed me of the issues. This was a free set of extra eyes. The price was reasonable for the work performed, they basically had to 4 wheel align twice because of the extensive work done to the suspension. I definately recommend Performance Auto Repair. I will be bringing my other project cars here for similar service.
Had a f250 lifted on fri may 31, I was very disappointed I wanted truck lifted because it was scrubbing, the people there lifted truck like I asked but truck tires were still scrubbing so we asked why someone didn't call since that was the reason we took it there, they weren't concerned about the quality of the work or did it solve the problem they just took the money. This was the first and last time we will ever use them. There expertise should've been used and should've reached out to us and have customer service and just plain sense but all they could see was money. What about fixing the problem and all they could tell us was "we did what you asked", what great regard for customers
Prior to my recent visits I’d never used this business. When I walked in I was greeted by no less than two people.
Zack greeted me and asked how he could help. From that point forward he was very accommodating and helpful. He would pull the products up on the computer that I was interested in and show me what they looked like on the vehile. He made excellent suggestions and made it easy to get just what I needed.

Disclaimer: This is not intended as bad mouthing. It is purely a report of the facts.*** Okay, I literally walked into the shop. The employees were not rude, so a plus for that. I asked for a quote for Rancho shocks (all four) for my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500. They wanted to sell me each shock for $175/piece. Yes, $175 for one shock X4. Additionally they wanted to charge $14.96 for shop supplies. $715 for parts (including shop supplies...) On top, they wanted $296.97 for labor to install the shocks.
Bottom line: Those shocks are going for $75/shock on Amazon. I understand and support a small mark up. Everybody must make money. However, charging $100 for mark up?? I recommend military personnel boycott this place. I have no bias against this place. I'm not from here, and have no past dealings with them. That is all.

Was having problems getting my Putco Switchblade Tailgate Bar installed at other places (the dreaded "we only service or install what we sell" spill). However, the guys at Performance Auto were more than willing to install it and my Tailgate Assist on my 2016 Ram 1500 without hesitation and they performed an excellent job! I made sure to get a business card because I most definitely will be a regular customer! Awesome group of guys! Highly recommend for all of your auto needs!
My family takes all of our automobiles to Performance Truck & Automotive. The staff there is very professional, courteous and friendly. They always provide quick and great service. They go out of their way to provide excellent customer service.
At times my pickup would misfire and lose power. After reading my Nissan check engine light code, Performance Auto Repair replaced the catalytic converter. The check engine light was not on and the truck had a lot more power. However, the truck continued to occasionally misfire and start loosing power. This would last from 1 minute to several minutes before resuming with good power. Without any engine codes indicating the issue, they continued to search for the problem. The pickup is now repaired and I can't remember when it has run so well. The total cost of repair was most reasonable for what they did. Thank you Performance and especially Lawrence! I will be using them for future repairs/service. I will recommend to friends.
Outstanding service !! I was traveling through Montgomery Alabama and my fuel line busted. I almost made it to their shop breaking down just a block away. The service men where very courteous and made arrangements to get my truckto the shop. The rrepair was a difficult one due to the location of the line.They were extremely nice offering me and my girlfriend cold water on this hot summer day even arranged for us to get lunch. For me this is business done right. I wish they were local to me.
My Subaru broke down on interstate 65 and AAA had my car towed to this shop. After a 3 hrs wait for the AAA truck Lawrence saved the remainder of the day. We had discussed by phone that my fan belt had broken; he took my vehicle information, ordered the part and had it delivered as we waited to arrive. When we finally got to the shop they recommended a couple of near by restaurants and offered us a ride. While eating they called to tell me the idler pulley seized and needed replacement. We returned from lunch and with about 20 more minutes the car was ready to go. I'd certainly return to this shop for repair work.
I have dealt with mostly Lawrence. He is one of the most concerned, considerate and professional sales and service providers at performance. I would highly recommended this company to anyone. Especially military. I am retired military to include law enforcement. This is a great company. Keep up the grand work.
I sat in the lobby for an hour and a half before they told me that they didn't have my size tire and that they should be here any moment. Could have told me a lot sooner. Poor customer service. Will not go back. UPDATED!! I received a call from Lawrence shortly after posting my review. He apologized and was very swift in taking care of me for my inconvenience. My boyfriend and I traveled from Kansas City to Montgomery, AL for a business trip last Friday and Saturday. Unexpectedly, our front brakes went bad, really fast. I found them by Google, took it in without an appointment on Saturday morning and was done and out within 1.5 hours. Very friendly and professional. I did not feel like they were taking advantage of "out-of-town, desperate" travelers.

I started going to them when I had a tow hitch put on my Saturn Vue, many years ago. When the warranty ran out on my newer vehicle I noticed they had moved and started using them for a hitch on my current vehicle, oil changes and tire changes or any of my other automotive needs. I am moving to NC and one thing I will regret is having to go through the hassle of finding another honest mechanic shop to service my automotive maintenance needs. Great people, honest service. Need I say more !!!!!!! hey, they had breakfast the Tuesday I got my oil change and yesterday the coffee was good while they fixed a leaking tire. Just a small screw in it. But hey, it's fixed now.

I have a 2010 Silverado. Zach and the guys did an outstanding job on my truck. This is the second truck that I've had a lift installed by PTC. These people really know what their doing and they are fair. They told me up front what it would cost to get the job done. Instead of cashing in, they explained that my truck was worth a whole lot less than the cost of the repairs. Of course I did the google thing and started to research all they had told me was wrong with it. Comparing Ebay prices and the average cost of labor in my area, and the book value of my car. They were right. The repairs would have cost more than the truck was worth. They saved me from the money pit that was my car. I will be returning with all of my car maintenence and will highly recommend their team to anyone needing a honest mechanic.
