I’m a very regular customer at this store because the service is always amazing! Recently I called because my tires were making a loud noise that I couldn’t figure out and spoke with Joseph! I was told to bring my car by and they’d check it out for me. I drove by and as promised he and one of his workers checked my car out they quickly figured out the issue & had me on my way in no time with my tire fixed! A positive attitude goes a long way and I’ve always had nothing but top tier service at this store! Keep up the great work guys!!! I had an alignment done on my Toyota Sequoia along with wheel balance at a shop in Dadeville . After talking to Dustin and Johnathan I was convinced I was at the place that could show me that I was right about the alignment being off and wheel balance was very noticeable with 2 inch high stack of old school wheel weights . I was alignment tech for 20 years . Grays took my Toyota gave me a before printout and a completed printout of my alight ( 60 dollars cheaper than wear I had paid for a poor alignment that made my Toyota dangerous to drive . Long story short they fixed it . It rides like it did when brand new . Very happy with there professional attitude, honesty and comment to fix my vehicular for a reasonable price . These were things I had been looking for in a shop for 20 years . No body will touch any of my cars again but Grays Automotive on Shirley lane Montgomery , Al . I will happy make 61 mile trip from my house on Blue Creek , Lake Martin to Montgomery . Since I retired 21 years ago for health reason I am no longer able to work on my own cars . That’s a tuff pill to swallow when you have been fixing and building cars for 30 years . I now have a friend in Grays Automotive that I trust 100% with anything they tell me because they proved themselves my very first exsperiance with them . Thank you guys will be back with one of four vehicles in my household !!!
The team at Grays always does an amazing job. My father has been a long time customer and after I moved back to Montgomery, this is where he brought me when I started having issues with my car. I truly feel a lot safer driving my car now than I have in the two years. One problem would lead to another problem and each time they did an amazing job with the necessary repairs.

We have used Grays tire and service center for years. We have brought both mine and my husband’s vehicles here for routine services. Unfortunately, we will no longer be back. I dropped my 2019 dodge grand caravan off for an oil change thinking it would cost the usual $60- 75. After not being asked they put supreme oil in it leaving me with a $110 oil change bill. Wouldn’t recommend taking your vehicle there for an oil change, it’s a rip off.
Gray's is absolutely the best. Most professional, most courteous tire shop I have ever been to. I came in with a bad situation needing two tires for a camper and I'm 4 hours from home. They took care of it in record time and I just cannot speak enough about their professionalism and courtesy. Thanks a lot guys! Christian took care of everything for me from start to finish. Came for an oil change and everyone was so nice! The waiting room was nice and quiet. Dane and Jonathan greeted you with such an inviting energy, and also communicated with you while you waited!
We were on our way from Tennessee to Florida pulling our boat for a week of fun in the sun. After two blowouts, it was time to look for tires. Found grays on the Internet. Jonathan and the staff there went above and beyond on my car inspection that I requested and were very informative on what needed to be repaired and I figured it would take many days even for the minor repairs but they had me done by the end of the day and I would highly recommend them for all your tire and automotive needs.

I had an excellent experience at Gary's Automotive! I walked in at nearly closing time with an almost flat tire, hoping for a tire patch. Despite the late hour, the staff was incredibly cheerful, helpful, and didn’t hesitate to get to work. They patched my tire quickly and made sure I was all set before leaving. In addition, they offered this service for FREE! I truly appreciate their friendly service and efficiency—it's rare to find such great customer care. Highly recommend this locally owned shop for anyone needing reliable auto services. The shop waiting room was also clean and comfortable.
I was very frazzled when I walked in because my tire pressure had gone from 22 psi to 12 psi within a block. I believe the fact that I ended up at Gary's to be a "God thing" but others might say it's a happy accident. Whatever it is, they have earned a new customer. I will be returning for my automotive needs.
Got an alignment for my truck done here. Was straight forward and easy. Reasonable price. Truck was still unstable at highway speeds but I didn’t check that myself after the work was done since I hardly drive my truck. I remember the guy telling me there was no warranty or anything when getting the quote so I just took it as a loss. Still though, if someone is paying for a service, it should be done correctly. I would think it shouldn’t be to hard since the shop would have all the tools to get the job done. Just a psa to others to check the work has been done correctly
I work in Montgomery but live in Mobile. I travel for work. This morning my tire alarm went off in my car. I went to the shop which was convenient from my hotel. The two guys in front were extremely nice and welcoming. I was shown to the waiting room. Approximately 20-30 min later a very nice man named Paul came and called me. He said he was “greasy” and didn’t want to get anything on my car. He told me he found a small nail and everything was ready to go. Peace of mind!! Now I can sleep to work tonight. Can’t express how much I appreciated my experience. Great staff at this business. I’d recommend to everyone and come back myself!! Thanks again!!!
I had such a wonderful experience at Gray's Tire & Service in Montgomery, Alabama. Jonathan and Dane were absolutely amazing and went out of their way to help me with a tire issue on my rental car from Avis. Their attention to detail and their kindness in assisting me in finding the local Avis rental office truly impressed me.
I appreciate how they not only informed me about the tire issue but also took the time to make sure the flat tire was fixed well enough for the tow truck to transport the car safely. The fact that they didn't even charge me for this exceptional service shows their dedication to providing top-notch customer care.

Our tire got punctured on the highway by Montgomery. We were able to make it into Gray's before it went flat. We were greeted by the most helpful and pleasant staff possible. They were able to immediately reduce the stress and even had us out the door and back on the road in 30 min.
