Be careful of Christensen, they will overbill and hide costs to justify their outrageous pricing. For example: I asked for simple diagnostics that year one mechanics can make, and the ignored my requests for fluid level checks. Plus I had to call back three times to clarify basic requests. The car doesn't even have any electronics! I also asked them to charge the freon on my air conditioner and that wasn't even on the evaluation? When I agreed to a "Throttle Body Service" I was charged $187.00 and $86.00 was for a can of CRC Throttle body cleaner that costs $9.99 at Autozone. Think twice before you "Trust" Christensen Brothers.
My fist visit to Christian Brothers Automotive was a surprisingly delightful experience! Service Manager Chad Hunt provided me with accurate and detailed information about the necessary repair and kept me updated throughout the repair process. All staff were knowledgeable and communicated in a professional manner.

Purchased a truck and had an issue with the CEL that had me nervous since I was driving it 800+miles back home. Despite being very busy, they were able to get me in right away and check everything out. Very appreciative and the car shuttle service was great, got me back and forth which was very convenient. *Update* Thank you to Big Chad and Lil Chad for the great customer service. Had discovered that my dream truck (SRT10) had all sorts of issues after purchasing it and decided it was not worth driving 16 hours back home to NJ. Thanks for getting me in quickly and your techs for diagnosing the problems. Truck headed back to the dealership and full refund of my purchase. Lesson learned to not buy a vehicle several states away before able to fully have it inspected. Happy I met Christian Brothers and will bring in my parent's vehicles to your location when I visit Alabama. Also found three other CB shops in PA that are somewhat close to me, hopefully they offer the same level of exceptional service as I received at your location.
Was stuck on road coming from Atlanta had car towed here. 4 days later they say nothing is wrong with Car! I said well what's the ob2 reading. They said nothing.. I picked car up and the engine light was on still!!!!! How is there no codes popping up!!?
Will never recommend cost me 234$ for nothing

Very Professional Company that updated me with text messages and photos from the technician with his findings. Also gave me a ride home and picked me up when my vehicle was done. Chad the Service Manager had great customer service skills and I highly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive to anyone who is in need of service or repairs.
CBA is AWESOME!! Our car was overheating, and no other shop could pinpoint the problem. The car stayed at 4 different shops for over a month. Once CBA received it, they found the problem and the car was repaired in 2days. We highly recommend Christian Brothers Automotive to everyone that we know for all their automotive repair needs. My son and I had a tire go completely flat within 3 mins and pulled in to ask for help. Chad Oswald got us changed and back on the road in no time at all. Everyone was incredibly kind. They even offered us drinks and allowed us to bring our dogs in out of the heat. I also had the privilege of watching them with two other customers...Hands down the kindest people. Extremely professional and courteous staff I was greeted promptly upon arrival, I was offered a beverage and then made me feel welcomed. They explained that I would get a detailed vehicle inspection and that I could even approve the repairs on my phone . From start to finish every interaction that I had was top notch the went above and beyond to treat me fair, kind and welcome . I wish people understood how badly Christian Brothers automotive rips people off with their ridiculous pricing. They wanted almost
3 grand more to replace my transmission (6,000 dollars!!!) than every single other mechanic in town. My car WITH a good transmission isn't even worth that! There is absolutely nothing "Christian" about this places pricing. Shop around folks, just because they tout themselves as a Christian based mechanic service doesn't mean they are. The condescending way they speak to unhappy customer reviews speaks VOLUMES. They should be absolutely ashamed of themselves. God is watching and he isn't happy.
In terms of Montgomery area customer service, there is no one better.
From reception into their business to the caliber and timeliness of service, this Christian Brothers Automotive location was nothing less than exceptional. The staff was warm and treated me like a human being. The waiting area was super clean, comfortable ( leather couches) and quiet. It's clear their management and technicians are held accountable for high quality performance and work well as a team. I only wish this was the standard and pride in performance across every other business; which unfortunately has not been my experience. Thank you for such a positive experience!
I am from sc and broke down in Montgomery. Let me just say I meet a lot of beautiful females while working down there , but not until I had these guys work on my truck , did I wish I lived in Montgomery!!! Ford dealership wasted my time and quoted me $4k for a timing job , these guys got me fixed (exhaust issue) and out the door for less then $500, the whole time communicating with me and friendly as could be. SUCH great service I'm going to get my other truck from sc down there for them to look at. Best auto repair shop in the southeast for sure.

Today was my first time coming to Christian Brothers Automotive. My car stopped on me this morning and with everything currently going on I didn't have the energy or the finances to handle this situation. The professionalism, patience and knowledge and detail that was shown to me is incomparable! I will recommend Christian Brothers Automotive to any and everyone!!!
The Service Manager, Chad, the office manager and the mechanic, Ed, were a breath of fresh air in what turned out to be an oddly complicated insurance claim. Emails & phone calls & text messages were being exchanged several times a day for a week! Follow-up with adjusters, appraisers & parts in states all over the country required more & more photos to be taken and submitted. All accomplished upon request. Then a discussion on new vs. used vs. refurbished (with warranty) parts followed. Then mechanical vs. body repair query was raised by the insurance company. They wanted it done all in one place; I trust Christian Bros. and wanted the mechanical work done there.
Another delay. ? The caveats coming from the insurance company even included an assessment that they were close to totaling the vehicle. With patience & persistence, Chad and his team pursued every bump in the road and -- miraculously (it IS Christian Brothers Automotive‼), the parts arrived and -- literally -- overnight, they fixed my car!! The car is old and has high mileage, but it's good for several more years -- or until I want to replace it! -- thanks to the personal and attentive service at this shop!! Highly recommend ‼ And, I may not even have the body work done because it's minor (especially considering the damage this impact created). Thank you to the entire Christian Bros. team!!
On the way to work one morning I noticed my Hyundai Accent was having power issues (a/c, dash lights, power steering), so I turned around to head to their shop. My car died about a block away, so I walked the rest of the way. Chad greeted me warmly and I told him the problem. I needed to get to work, so Marie gave me a ride downtown. Chad sent two of the guys to drive over and jump start my car and drive it the rest of the way to the shop. They determined my alternator was dead. They installed a new alternator and my car was ready before noon! I’ve always received wonderful service from Christian Brothers! I am a customer for life!
We live in Huntsville, Alabama and my daughter’s school is in Troy, Alabama-almost 4 hours away. My daughter’s dream vehicle is a 1988 Ford Bronco 2 and while moving her back to college it broke down 40 minutes from Troy. Firestone was recommended but wouldn’t work on it-many places don’t like working on old vehicles. Christian Brothers was friendly and upfront, was willing to look at it and fix it. We were so thankful for them because we had no tools or the ability to fix it on our own. We felt like the labor was high for 2 hours of work (like 900) but again, we were pleased with the work they did and how fast they had it repaired. Also, they offered a military discount and lock boxes so the vehicle could be safely picked up after hours. Would definitely use them again.
I am a triple A customer triple A recommended them. I live in georgia and had my car towed Montgomery triple-a highly recommended them. The only issue I have was when they did their Diagnostic check, which was more than the actual dealership.
They did not put things back the way they were. Wires coverings were left off the vehicle. I don't know why they feel the need not to put things back the way they found it.
I was a little hurt. Buy it. I feel as a customer. I should have been treated a little bit better.
I highly recommend this shop. They are very clear and honest about what your car needs and what can wait. I took my vehicle to the Nissan dealership for a repair and was quoted $3,600 because they wanted to repair a whole bunch of things that probably weren’t necessary. I took the same car here and they quoted $1,200. I worked with Chad who was super knowledgeable and explained why he was making certain recommendations and explained possible consequences to multiple courses of actions regarding the repair. This is a shop you can trust!

I honestly had a really good experience with Christian brothers. No one likes spending money to get their car fixed. But when it needs to be done, it's good to have professional and transparent people take care of it. I took my Mercedes E350 to Christian Brothers because my “check engine” light had come on, and my steering wheel had stopped moving up and down. Well, they diagnosed the problem and gave me a call. They told me the amount that my warranty would cover and my deductible. They quickly repaired my vehicle, and I was extremely satisfied. I am just happy that they were able to fix my car in a timely manner.
I was so excited to find a Christian Brothers location after having such an amazing experience in Colorado with Christian Brothers - they did not let me down! The standard here in Montgomery AL is just as high as Colorado Springs

They didn’t send photos like CO location does with every inspection and needed repair, but it sounded like they could do that if needed.
They are SO much more professional and courteous than I’ve experienced over the years with declining service at Firestone and other locations in other states that I use to rely on before my 10/10 experience with Christian Brothers at EVERY location! Across the board they are set apart from others in such a helpful trustworthy way where they go above and beyond to truly help their customers out!
The shuttle driver was amazing, even though it was after the 4 pm cut off time, she was so gracious and gave us a free drive home anyways and was so very very sweet and personable.
Chad was excellent at communicating with me and even followed up after hours - you know he’s genuinely invested in his customers when he is replying and helping out in his personal downtime off the clock. That says a LOT about this team.
I cannot say enough about how relieved I am to know that despite my hesitations to move to Montgomery AL due to the military - Christian Brothers Automotive has been the little oasis of feeling at home to find they’re just as helpful and kind and honest as Colorado Springs location and it means so much to have that go to trustworthy mechanic team

This is an amazing place. My family broke down while traveling through the area. We were able to schedule an appointment online the night before and got the car into Christina Brothers the next morning. Marie with the courtesy shuttle was wonderful and took us back to the hotel to wait in comfort. They got my car in right away, diagnosed the problem and had us back on the road by 10:00am. Marie picked us back up from the hotel to get the car. The text notifications were extremely helpful throughout the process I must way that this has been the highlight of the trip. Everyone was so friendly and caring. They recognized that I had my family and we were stranded and made everything stress free to an already unfortunate situation. Thank you!
