Horrible,paid him $750 cash to rebuilt my transmission it comes with a 1 year warranty took it all the way to andulusia to get him to rebuild it dropped it off on a Friday he called Saturday and said it was done installed it the first go round reverse wouldn't work had to pay someone to pull it out again lost all the brand new fluid i just put in it because he had to rework it took it back to him for the second time went back to pick it up reinstalled it again reverse was working but 1 and 2 second gear was not wouldnt even move over 25 mph ( he tried to say it was my shift solenoids a and b had a mechanic with a high dollar machine run a diagnostic on it both solenoids was working perfectly and no transmission codes)so at this point I took the whole tahoe to him which had to borrow a trailer and fork out more gas money to have it hauled to him this Thursday will be 2 weeks he has had my vehicle and hasn't even pulled the transmission out yet then had the nerve to tell me it was a wiring issue( my mechanic messed up something lol)why the transmission he built twice didn't work and then begin to cuss me and hung up on me I am a single mom with this being my only way of transportation guess I'm about to hire and attorney because he ain't fixing my truck and acts like he doesn't want to give me my money back.... Do not use him I will never recommend him to anyone!!!!!
His forklift was broken so I couldn’t inspect the engine, then he delivered it to my house pouring down rain I asked for a receipt and he wouldn’t give me one the very next day. I tried to turn the engine over with a breaker bar and it’s locked up, called him immediately and he said he was sick never heard back from him. Can’t get him to answer the phone, his name is John and he is a complete liar and a cheat .

Rebuilding an older model car. I swear by Lester's. I've only call once and he didn't have the part. That's good knowing I have been coming to him for the last 10yrs.
Very helpful and knowledgeable. If you don't already know them, it doesn't take long before you feel like you do, with their down to earth, southern hospitality.
Supply and demand I understand but these days people should help direct others in the right direction rather then taking advantage of them. So I will not be a repeat customer.
The man behind the counter was extremely nice and very helpful, even though we didn't buy anything, the man kept working on our problem until he figured out why we couldn't find the part we needed anywhere (we were looking for the wrong part, lol)
