Nice guy but don't let his kindness fool ya. Don't take your car there for salvage, drive the 30-40 miles .my car was running ,had new tires, still run only had 244,000 engine leaked water but did not have a blown H.G. it was worth 400 in salvage price. He undercut me bad. The other gentleman working for him, also deceiving be careful on any quote given until you arrive.
I got a starter from this place I didn't need it so I took it back 5 days later . The man put the money on my friends card which is absolutely stupid. After he took 30$ off of what he owes me. He's mean grouchy old man do not do business with him and I'm still waiting for it to clear on her card this has gor ro be the worse business I've ever dealt with.
I have had a couple of excellent experiences with Mr. Terry now at Heilmeier's Auto Salvage. He is honest, professional and the epitome of a true Southern gentleman. His prices are fair and it's a pleasure to do business with him. Maybe I'm old fashioned but I much prefer handling my business with Heilmeier's than the hassle of doing business online or with someone who doesn't know what they're doing. Thank you sir !
Very good people very helpful with parts identification and details about the parts year models and the fit of the part very helpful place if you don't know exactly what you're looking for but kind of do they can help you identify the part and find it it's best price
As a fan of old cars, I was thrilled to get the chance to explore another old yard. The southern humidity and sea air doesn't do any favors to sheetmetal, and the cars showed it. Living inland, in a drier climate may have made me spoiled on finding rust free metal left in a salvage, but it was fun to see the cars in inventory. The only real damper on my experience was the the mosquitoes.
Very helpful, gentlemen went out of his way to locate a hard to find part for me. Then he had it shipped to my house so I didnt have to drive from Pensacola Fl to his shop.
Very poor customer service The salesman was extremely rude All I ask for was a certain part didn’t ask condition just needed the part as long as was complete with hardware And he was rude as hell wouldn’t suggest doing buisness obviously his customers are not valued
