We were overloaded with luggage so we stopped to buy a cargo trailer hitch. Seth was super helpful and loaned us the tools to put it together and even helped to finish assembling it. It is going to make the rest of our 24 hour trip much more bearable!

Close to Freeway-outstanding customer service. I needed my windshield wipers replaced and they had a funky bracket-the gentleman at the counter insisted on going out to my vehicle and replaced them himself-and would not accept a tip. Friendly and knowledgeable!

So, I called auto zone today to get a price for all the u joints in my truck, the guy who answered the phone, mark, was very rude about giving me a total price for all 6. He told me i "just needed to guess about $40 each" so sorry. He didnt need to be that rude. You could tell he was not happy about my question at all. Please mark being nice to customers is a good thing.

Today at about 1:15 i took a friend to have her battery checked. A guy came out and hooked his machine up and proceeded to tell us to have it charged and then checked again. He then also told us the battery was 111 degrees, and it was bulging. I dont know alot about vehicles, but i instantly knew the battery needed replaced and NOT charged and checked again. So we went in, i purchased a battery and a couple other things for her. The same guy came out to put the battery in for us...and when he tried to put the terminals on, it threw sparks ~ which usually means that he put the negative on first, and then went to put the positive on second...which i found odd, but i thought anyone can be having a bad day. So, he went to put the terminals on the reverse way ~ and it threw sparks again. He told us something must be wrong with the terminal wires and needed to have them looked at by a mechanic. So while we were waiting for her dad to come save us, i looked at the battery and discovered that he was putting the negative terminal on the positive post, and the positive terminal on the negative post, so ofcourse sparks were flying! Like i said before, i dont know alot about vehicles, but i do also know enough to know what wire terminal goes on what post. After the girls dad came, he verified that the guy indeed was putting the terminals on the wrong posts. And after her dad hooked up the battery and the car started, I went back in the store and asked for the manager to tell them how badly the guy had screwed up a very simple thing...and funnily enough ~ the guy who doesnt know what battery terminal goes on what battery post WAS THE MANAGER!!! This guy has no business working at an auto parts store, has no business simply putting a battery in a car, and certainly has no business being the manager of an auto parts store!

Wanted to leave Chris a review, I was traveling thru Evanston in the middle of my 1900 mile drive and had a check engine light come on. Chris scanned it, gave me a printout and cleared the code. Stopped from some wet weather in need of some wiper blades; driving long-haul from California to Colorado. Nick was behind the counter and couldn’t have been any more helpful. He got me the wiper blades I needed at a really great price without compromising any quality not only that, he took the time to make sure they fit my vehicle by installing them himself! this AutoZone is far away better than the AutoZone where I live and they’ll have my business anytime. I’m passing through town.

Came in looking to buy tire chains 04/14/24 10am. I’m a travel nurse traveling to California and got an advisory for tire chains requirement on the way. I have a 4 wheel drive mercedes but wanting to purchase tire chains just to keep it handy for safety. An older guy offered assistance but proceeds to making condescending comments with arrogant attitude. First, I told him the size of my tire. He seemed not convinced so he checked it himself which I did not mind cuz I’m like okay maybe he’s just making sure. But what happened next really bothered me. I know it’s not Chris because he’s helping someone else out and I know him from all the reviews and one of them has his photo and he seems a great guy. But the guy that was “assisting” us is TOTALLY not helpful. He’s probably a newer staff since he wasn’t sure where to specifically look for chains and looked troubled while looking them up in the computer. Again, I gave him some slack because I am sensing he’s probably newer. When he brought us to where the chains at, he asked another question, “Do you wanna know how much is it?” in a condescending tone. He went back and forth to the computer just to check the price, seemingly annoyed. The price was printed on the shelf so I assumed that maybe it’s something different but true enough, it’s the actual price. I asked if there’s any other brand or if they have any other tire chains available. And he made a comment “we do but are you buying it.”.. i told him we just wanna see the options because I saw other types of tire chains in the website but he again said “Are you buying them because I don’t wanna look for them if you’re not buying it.” I was totally gonna buy them but you know what, I did not because the attitude is totally appalling so we proceed to buying them from the next autozone branch. I have never been treated that way ever. I’m also polite since I work in customer service and work with sick patients and I understand how hard it can be to work with customers but I’ve never asked a patient “Do you wanna know how much is your medical treatment cuz I don’t wanna provide care or service if you can’t won’t pay it.” Maybe customer service is not for him. Well that’s my 2 cents.

Chris was amazing. We had a panic moment when after a 2 hour drive from Logan when our engine light turned on. The car started shaking and had me in a panic. I’m definitely not a car guy and was very worried when we pulled into auto zone. Chris essentially said “say no more” he diagnosed a potential reason for the problem and put on his coat to come out into the snow to replace the coil for me. He explained everything he was doing and taught me more about my car. All the while holding a casual conversation as well. My car is now running smooth and saved me a huge amount of stress, time, and money. I’m in your debt Chris. Thank you so much!

The staff here ,in particular Chris Nick and Zander, are the most helpful amazing people. Chris helped us figure out the exact parts we needed, was extremely knowledgeable in crossover parts when they didn't have that exact part and was helpful with many questions advice and necessary tools. Nick also helped with lots of knowledge and tips. Was truly surprised with his knowledge base that he's only in high school. No matter how often we came into the store he never wavered with patience compassion and assistance. He even mediated and interpreted a misunderstanding and communication breakdown between my mechanic partner and my no clue self while we were replacing a belt. Xander was our first point of contact with the store and wow what an impression. He allowed us to have our car towed to the lot, reassured us it wouldn't get towed right away if at all and allowed us to repair it there. He also was super patient and friendly throughout the 2 day ordeal of getting the car fixed. There was also a young lady who although unfortunately I cannot recall her name was super sweet and helpful. It's none of my business but if it were up to me these guys would be getting a raise. I haven't had this good of an experience with autozone before now. I will never again question the kindness of strangers and most of that is thanks to these wonderful people.

Store 1213, the guys name is actually Chris. He didn't even hesitate when he saw my car. Just wanted to find out what the problem was and started diagnosing. I think he should be a mechanic. I was going to buy AC recharge. But he noticed it was still working and explained about high altitude affecting the system. When the phone rings and someone's just yapping, Chris calls out, and they answer. Excellent customer care. This is the best autoparts I've been to in all my life. I just looked around, and even the parking lot looks clean. This place is awesome.

Steve helped us out and got us all taken care of. He saw us out in the parking lot just before close but made sure we were taken care of before the store closed. He helped us diagnose the issue and got us the parts we needed to be on our way.

We drove to Evanston today and my car was not driving right. With the check engine light on we limped into the parking lot. Chris took a reading of my car and got the code. Chris was amazing and went above and beyond to help us. If I could give more stars I would. He helped fix the problem and sent us on our way. I’m sure he saved us so much money! We are not mechanical at all and he was extremely kind and helpful! This guy deserves some high praise because the level of customer service he gave us was very rare!! Chris is amazing! We were driving through town and our AC was not working. Working on only the driver side. Chris helped us get it recharged and solved the problem. The BMW dealership in Salt Lake estimated $5,000 to repair. Autozone and Chris saved me $4950 and helped me repair it in 10 minutes. I think I found my new best friend.

Had issues with my gears shifting erratically and then completely hitting 0 RPMs and decelerating on the highway on a cross country trip. I just happened to stop in Evanston WY and decided to call and go to AutoZone to get some help. Chris at AZ was super helpful, ran a ECM diagnostic and was able to pinpoint to the potential problem: loose battery terminal connector. Chris helped to tighten the connection and the whole experience saved me money (the diagnostic was free and no charge for tightening the battery connector), alleviated my anxiety that my car would have the issue the whole drive, and I learned to pay attention to the terminal fit at the next battery change. Chris also made sure to follow up a few hours later: my car no longer erratically bounces from 1k to 6k RPMs when I press on the gas. Great experience! If you are in the area, definitely stop by this AZ for your car issues first before heading to a mechanic!

Good service and quality parts. Up date: visited twice in the last month for parts, both times the parts were either wrong or incomplete. First were wrong break pads, then ordered two calipers and they only special ordered one. It's a 70 mile round trip to the store. Went to O'Reilly Auto parts and they got the right parts right away. There is no need to go to a store that the employees dot care enough to get the right parts the first time...

Chris was incredible. Some of the best customer service I have ever experienced. He took time to listen to my issue, came outside to scan the engine and gave me print out of error. He then was able to resolve an issue that dealership could not. Very knowledgeable and earned a customer for life. I live in Salt Lake City and happy to make the drive for service like this! While traveling from MN to Cali hauling a camper our truck went into limp mode and check engine light was on. Chad's auto in town ran the code for us and told us what we needed to repair, Auto Zone delivered the part to us and even lent us a tool we needed!! So grateful and thankful. We made it to Cali with no other issues!!!😁👍

I recently had my windshield replaced and the people put my windshield wipers on wrong causing damage to my car, having no choice but to use them when it was raining. Stopped at this autozone to see if they knew how to stop my wipers from sliding off the window. They fixed it for free and got me back on the road. Thanks so much 🙏

Wow! Great service! My battery died within walking distance of this auto zone. They let me borrow thier jump pack so I could start my car. I was so impressed that they did that I was ready to buy a new battery from them just to show my gratitude. With just a check of my phone number they discovered my battery was under warranty and was replaced for free. Easiest warranty collection ever! Thank you for great guest service.
