They pay a 1/3 to 1/2 less than the national average. So, update, my kids save cans for extra money, brought in 90lb of cans, were told that being there was maybe a ball of aluminum foil per bag, they gave them 78 lbs of tin and 12 lbs of aluminum and got $5. Thanks for screwing kids over!
The lady who should greet you and assist you at the scales is rude, unprofessional, talks to you like your either stupid or a child!! Absolutely not impressed!!! She shouldn't greet anyone EVER!! However, the guy who helped us unload was friendly, explained the process and helped us unload. Very sad that my first impression was so bad that it out weighs everything else... she can't even be bothered to explain to you what you're getting paid for!!! Horrible horrible!!!
I feel like maybe they arent giving the exact price for scrap metal! The National Average everywhere is up 200%. $60 for a ton of scrap seems a little low! All in all Nice people & very helpful.
