AAA sent a service person from Bob’s when my car wouldn’t start. He started the vehicle and suggested that I call their retail location to check battery availability when he found he didn’t have the correct one on the truck. I was able to drive there and was back on the road about an hour later.

Tow driver was rude about asking me to move my vehicle. I understand and respect that he has a job to do, but you don't need to be a perk about it, either. Edit: I was not the one receiving service. I was parked in a parking lot where the tow driver was working on someone else's vehicle.

Bob’s got me in and out quickly for my oil change and tire rotation. I was able to wait for the work to be finished. The two guys on the phones were so helpful to me and extremely patient with another customer who called about tire pricing.

Thank you Bob's! My Jeep died on me and the tow truck driver was there within half an hour or less of my call. Communication with the shop was wonderful, and Heather was so pleasant on the phone. Service from the guys in the shop was excellent. As a single gal, I so appreciate this kind of customer service.

After a crash Bob’s was amazing at getting my road safe again. They notified me of an issue with my brakes and fixed that as well. Their communication was wonderful, I never had to ask for an update, I was just always told what was happening to my car and when. They even went above and beyond and took my car next door to get an estimate on the cosmetic work that will need to be done.

Jacob was the driver who picked me up from the side of the freeway- I received a call from Bob's Towing staff quickly after placing my request for assistance telling me his location and estimated time of arrival. He was clear with his information, and showed up earlier than he first estimated! Both his truck and his actions were professional, and I felt safe despite being on the side of the freeway at night, waiting in a second vehicle while he prepared and towed my vehicle. Truly went from panic about my car to game planning next steps, I am so thankful he was able to help.

My family and I have been coming to Bob's Auto for years. It doesn't matter what services we need, they have always been wonderful, very helpful, honest, and have fair pricing for quality work (no funny business going on) and offer great vehicles for sale. It's hard to find a mechanic "you" can trust but look no further because Bob's is the real deal! I will continue to work with them and highly recommend them to anyone!

Well, Had a screw in my tire that caused it to go flat. Bob's came and picked up my car and took to Decorah st location. When I went to pick up car, it still said low air and screw was still in tire. It turned out that there were 2 different screws . One on top side and one on bottom. They missed it and I did also. They quickly patched the second hole and I was on my way. Everything was taken care of and as usual-- they were very understanding and professional and everything worked out. They also supplied me with rental car for the day, which by the way I loved- was a Toyota Camry- one of my favorite cars. When I called, the tow truck was here in roughly 9 minutes and driver was very nice and I am very satisfied! I can always rely on Bob's!

Car broke down on the highway when it was 95 degrees and sunny. They got the tow truck out quickly, the driver was fast and professional. The shop was able to get the car fixed in a couple days...their number is now a contact in my phone and my wifes for any future car care. Thanks

I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Bob’s Auto! Kayla was so friendly and helpful—she made the whole rental process easy and stress-free. I showed up about an hour early and they still had the car ready for me, which I really appreciated. I also accidentally reserved the vehicle for just one day instead of three, and they were super understanding and had no problem extending the rental. The pricing was very reasonable, and everything felt straightforward and honest. I’ll definitely be coming back here the next time I need a rental!

I contacted Bob’s Main Street Auto & Towing-Decorah Road on 03/05/2025 requesting an overall car inspection for my 2004 Honda Civic given its age to identify potentially problematic areas that would need to addressed in the future & for a noise coming from the rear. I had taken it to a different auto repair shop on 03/03/2025 & was quoted for over $2,000 worth of repairs to the suspension components. Mike in Service greeted me on initial contact in person & listened to my concerns. He explained their process for inspection & the documentation they provide to give me a detailed condition report of primary components. Mike & I arranged an inspection the next day. Upon inspection inspecting the rear & test driving it, the mechanic identified that the noise was caused by the exhaust hanger stretching due to the exhaust not having enough clearance under the rear bumper. Chief complaint #1 resolved by cutting the rear bumper to allow for more clearance. After that, the mechanic inspected the entire suspension of the vehicle, underbody, engine bay to determine any other areas of potential issues, which they did not. Mike contacted me to inform me of their findings & that they would be charging me for the inspection only as the repair was minimal. This saved me the $2,000 initially quoted by another shop & boosted my confidence in the vehicle that I have as a solid runner. Overall, I had an A++ experience with Bob’s Main Street Auto & Towing-Decorah Road. Furthermore, they earned my business for future repairs based on their attention to detail & integrity. I would recommend them to family & friends.

I forgot to write this months ago... but Bob's deserves all the praise & love! They were so accommodating, welcoming and went SO FAR above & beyond when I stopped in for a simple emissions test. I didn't state once that I was disabled or had a service dog. I knew I could do the emissions test without her. I had my 2 pups in the car & instantly they told me to bring them inside & that they love furry friends! I said I didn't have leashes with but that they should listen to me....well that failed-they did NOT enter the front door, instead they ran thru the garage where ppl were working. They weren't scolded or yelled at-they all loved it and welcomed them in the back service door. My dogs proceeded to be their usual crazy selves, standing on the windows watching the cars go by on Main St., eating endless treats provided by the staff...and yes, one went in & gulped from the toilet. Not once did I feel like they were a hassel-the staff LOVED having them-Which in turn makes me want to return for service. I swear, it was the most kind, unexpected part of my day. I appreciate the simple kindness that you showed. You didn't even know my situation & that was your true reaction. Thank you & I sing your praises :)

FANTASTIC EXPERIENCE! Needed a tow for my large, BRAND NEW pickup back to Colby WI from near Lomira. Dave took great care to load and secure my truck and was professional and pleasant for the entire ordeal. Every question I had was addressed in a knowledgeable and professional manner. My truck was delivered safely to the dealer and I'm home all thanks to Dave!

I've had Bob's towing out twice to help me out of a jam. Both times they did excellent work. This particular time my vehicle couldn't be driven on its own & they came within 35 min of my calling. Driver (Jared) was professional & courteous. He explained everything and went above & beyond. I highly recommend their towing service. You won't be left stranded.

They were called from our safety insurance company for roadside assistance. Quoted 60 min and they showed up in 40 min. Had a flat bed, and all the correct tools needed for some off brand stubborn lug nuts. Put air in the spare and I was on my way. Thank you for quick service.
