Charged $600 got a belt and tensioner pulley replacement. Waited 4 weeks for him to get to my truck. It was covered in his dusty parking lot when I got it back. Dealership prices in a 2 lift shop. Will be going someplace else in the future.
Took him three days to change spark plugs,, Always said took him days to do anything.. I had to help to get the plug out.. Then puts shop supplies $19.99 on parts but not on total bal due $548.42. Then look at credit card receipt has surcharge fee $19.99 total $567.61 Will never go back to Dave's HD truck repair ... Will go back to Dave's complete auto-cycle service right down the road at the corner 3291 hwy P.. Should of been only 2 hours to do spark plugs... Wanted the 8 old plugs, he found 6 old plugs.. Not sure if he gap the new plugs, he didn't have a torque wrench fo the plugs.. Dave's at the corner knows how to fix & not over charge like Dave's HD truck
Owner of this place is very nice. Spoke with him several times about the project I'm having done. Seems to be very knowledgeable and a very nice guy to talk to. Have yet to have the install but I'm confident he will do a good job. I will post results and pictures.
Dave is an honest older gentleman who will not steer you wrong and will make sure you are not wasting time and money on useless parts and truly makes sure the job gets done right. I will definitely be bringing my truck back to him for anything the truck needs
Horrible experience. Definitely would not recommend. Had my truck for almost 4 months and couldn't figure it out so he took it to someone else without telling me. Wouldn't even tell me where it was! Had to threaten to report it stolen to get it back. And worst is it still dont run right! Very very very poor communication. Charged me for parts that were never installed and for parts not related to my problem. How someone can run a business like this baffles me. Brought my business to him from a recommendation from a company that uses him and neither me or the company will ever go back!
My whole family have been taking there trucks there, but its sad now that I won't even let a Chevy dealership look at my truck due to my last visit there, There's only one place I trust and thats Dave's hd
Have been going to Dave's for over 20 years, old shop and the new one. Dave has always been professional and went out of his way for my family when repairs were needed to get them done. Thanks Dave.
