Jeff and Steve are the BEST and MOST trustworthy in the business! Tire replacement is the least expensive around with the absolute best quality install! No matter what you need done they do it twice as fast as anyone can expect. The only mechanics in Wisconsin I trust fully to touch my vehicles.
Also the amazing commitment our town, such as the children's fishing derby every spring is a true statement of their support of our local community.
Came here after other auto services nearby asked to call me back and never did.
Took two cars, for both of which I was able to just walk in and leave with a quote within ten minutes, and work on the first car was completed within about a week, after explaining it had been sitting for months and there was absolutely no rush.
Can't ask for any more than that.
Called them looking for help with my vehicle. After having to call them back multiple times, and them not even looking at my vehicle, I was told absolute worst case scenario. He told me I should sell my car immediately, it was going to cost thousands and he refused to even look at it. I asked if he had any suggestions for who would help and he also refused. I took it to another local business and it was a sensor and fixed in two days. Absolutely horrible customer service. I was also booted from a local community page for telling someone else about my experience. He runs the page. Highly suggest not using this business.
Went out to warm my truck up before heading off to work this morning, 01/15 temp was -10. Let truck warm for 10 min got in to head out, no power steering, huge pink puddle under it. Got truck to these guys and they we're able to check it out quickly, found blown line and were able to get me patched up same day and at reasonable cost. Good people, I'm grateful I can't take other day off work this month. (Took 1 for the 20" of snow and 1 for truck problem today. I normally don't call in more than twice in a year?)
Outstanding service on our vehicle. They went above and beyond to keep costs under budget. The end result was that the brakes on our van work better than they ever did! Highly recommended!
They don't make'em like this any more. Honest, timely, and a fair price. I've been to a lot of other places around Wisconsin in my time and I'm very thankful to have found Steve's place so I never have to worry about where to take my car when it needs something.
Had to have my car towed there yesterday after I noticed smoke coming from my engine at a stop light and finding transmission fluid pouring out from under the car. I called them before I had it towed there (it was after 3 pm) and they said they may not get to it until next week as they were pretty busy... Which I was ok with.
Well today I received a text at about 2 pm saying it was nothing major and it was done. I was able to go pick it up and it was just a transmission line that had corroded and started leaking (happened once before a few years ago).
They repaired it WAY sooner than I expected and the cost for the repair was more than fair. I was extremely happy with the service I received and will definitely be returning in the future.
Called to get a quote on all the repairs that needed to be done on my car and the guy who talked to me said he would call back within an hour for a pricing and he never called me back. I even live in Jackson and drive by all the time, never looks THAT busy to take a few minutes to get me a quote. Wouldn’t recommend them
They are very upfront about cost and if the labor is worth the price. Have gone to them for multiple cars and they are fast and efficient. Any issues were resolved right away without hassle.
I first frequented Jackson Auto looking for a (new) local mechanic based on these reviews. I've since had a number of automotive issues - some quirky, some typical - crop up with my aging van, and every single time they've exceeded expectations, frequently going above and beyond. As the daughter of an auto mechanic who put great and equal stock in both his ability and integrity, I'm very grateful to have this level of trustworthy, straight-forward expertise in the area. Myself and my family have been going here for years. Since I was little and id never trust anyone else with my car. They do an amazing job and always a fair price and Jeff and Steve and their crew treat you like family.
Jackson Auto Service has done the maintenance and repair service for Phase 1 Limo for nearly 25 years. They could do 'Brain Surgery' if you gave them the manual. Note: Office girl K C is seldom crabby.
Took my wife's car there for oil change and filter and Steve checked the power steering fluid and steering components and also confirmed the lower control arms were not defective which another shop told me they were. My wife is still beaming about how well her car drives. He will continue to get our business.

Thank you to Jackson Auto Service. My son drove up from Nashville for a visit. While here he noticed he picked up a nail in his tire. He was heading out to other parts in the state visiting today and we wanted to get the tire fixed. A few places we called didn’t have availability or didn’t want to deal with a small tire plug. As he was leaving he decided to quick stop in Jackson Auto Service with no appointment. He said they looked really busy but after only waiting a little while they took care of the tire. Great customer service! My wife and I thank you for taking care of our son.
Took my truck to get the power steering pump replaced. After I got truck back, the high pressure line on pump leaks really bad. He refused to fix it and it was his mistake! Would NOT recommend Jackson Auto.
I highly recommend Jackson towing. I am from out of town and cold on a very cold day when my car would not start. They came out to me quickly and got me back on the road within minutes. When I asked what I owed for the service I was told that they would charge me nothing. On a bitterly cold day when I'm sure they could have made lots of money charging extra to get cars started, they showed great generosity. I highly recommend Jackson towing!

We were in town for the morning (lived an hour away) when our van wouldn't start. We called Jackson Auto and they sent someone. He was able to tow it and get started right away (starter needed to be replaced). We were in a definite time crunch and needed to get back home so we picked up a rental. I thought I'd have to drive back the next day. We stopped for lunch before heading out. Jackson Auto called by the time we done eating and I was able to return the rental and get home in time to pick up my Mom from the airport! And it was very reasonably priced (less than I expected). Furthermore, this was a couple months ago and my van has been working great since. Highly recommend! Wonderful service!
