Very pleased with their service. I was a first time customer. I had gotten two recommendations to go there. Best thing was that they could take my minivan in only three days - other places were much slower to be able to help. Sometimes experience is everything.

I brought my car here twice within a 2 week timeframe because it kept breaking down. It was “fixed” the first time…worked for about 300 additional miles and then broke down again. I returned my car to this shop and had it “fixed” again only to make it not even 70 miles from the shop before breaking down again. Instead of returning my car to this shop we brought it to a different shop where we were told the 2 things that were causing me issues are the 2 things that Jocks supposedly had already “fixed” on my vehicle. Upon finding this out we immediately contacted someone at Jocks hoping to get some sort of refund for the over $1000 we had paid for them to fix my car over the past 2 weeks, as we now had a pending $850 bill from the other shop. Jocks was extremely unprofessional when addressing our concerns and continuously made excuses as to why we couldn’t speak to Dan, the owner of Jocks. Due to these continued car breakdowns I had to miss 2 weeks of work and ran the risk of losing my job when I returned to the town I live in. I DO NOT recommend bringing your vehicle here to be fixed if you are not a local.

First time here, due to a wheel bearing failure. Highly recommended by a gentleman at wild river Sports Called Jocks and they had a tow within 20 minutes. Staff (josh in the tow and rose up front) all seem pleasant as I sit in the waiting room...

4:10 on a Friday afternoon and I got a bolt in my tire. Jocks got me in and saved my weekend. Very reasonable for tire report. Staff was friendly and they didn't mind my dog being in the car.

Extremely highly recommended. I have a very unique truck that no shop would want to work on. While on a vacation 2 hours from home, we were pulling our 5th wheel camper when the transmission went out. We had our truck and camper towed to Jock’s. They helped us find a very nice campground to put our camper at and tackled the repair of this highly customized truck. Not only did they repair it, they improved it and were Very conscious of controlling my costs. Additionally, the communication was top-notch.

Thanks to Rose and Dan for helping us when our car broke down! Our alternator went out suddenly on our way to Hayward for vacation. Dan was kind enough to haul our car and us to our destination.

Jock’s to the rescue! 9 hours into an 11 hour drive with my daughters and two dogs, had a front wheel bearing failure. It was late in the day and Josh promptly came out and towed us back to the shop. He ordered parts on the drive back and they replaced both front wheel bearing quickly at the end of work day…even a few minutes past closing. Can’t thank them enough for keeping us from a potential nightmare!!!!

I took my card there. And they expect me to pay a $100. But why And I take my car there a lot. But after my car gets fixed they tell me they're more problem with it I think somebody screw me over. I am so fed up. Why did they have to put more work? And more work into it. With my car, it Completely fine

Excellent service! While driving from Hayward to Spooner, my tire pressure warning light came on. I went to "Jock's" and was treated with respect and courtesy. Waited a short while and a gentleman came out to drive my vehicle into one of their bays. They found a leak, fixed it and I was back on the road in about 1/2 hour. Would highly recommend this highly efficient operation!

Wonderful help towing my boat trailer and boat to their garage when I broke down by Hayward on a Sunday. Trailer fix was going to be more than it was worth and they were upfront about it all. I got a new trailer and the whole shop helped me move my boat from the old trailer to the new one. Above and beyond!

Excellent service. 1st day on vacation and the end of the work day for the shop our alternator died on our vehicle. Jock's arrived to tow the vehicle back to their shop and confirmed it was the alternator 10 minutes before leaving for the day. Jock's had us up and running a day later at a good price and we continued our vacation thanks to them! Definitely recommend them for towing and repair!

Jock´s saved the day! We were having mechanical issues that would have prevented us from making the 300 mile trip home safely. One phone call and they let us bring it in right away for diagnosis, ordered the parts and had it ready to go the next afternoon. We couldn´t be more grateful. Top notch quality service, fair price, and they obviously care about their customers-even the ones they´ve never met. Thank you so very much to everyone at Jock´s. Highly recommend.

We live 4 1/2 hours away and we're leaving in 3 days when a/c bearing went bad. We explained our situation and they did a PHENOMENAL job of taking care of us. Cannot say enough good things about these people. So friendly!

I was up in the area with friends snowmobiling when my truck was running rough. Had a 5 hour drive home. I ended up limping it to a truck stop in Trego and parked it. Got a ride home and called Jacks. Told Rose my truck was parked in Trego, asked them to tow to their shop and fix it. They got my truck back to their shop the same day I called (Monday) and looked at it Wednesday. Diagnosed the problem to the fuel pump and replaced it by Thursday. They noticed the feed line to the engine was rusty, and changed that too. (good call!) They got the job done in less than a week, and didn't over charge. Rose was super helpful, and there invoices are very accurate and detailed! Thanks so much to Jacks for helping a guy out, and being fair and detailed!. They could have charged me $1000's, cause I had no other option. Highly recommend.

One star for not running me into the ditch. Second day of being passed and blasted with snow and road debris by your tow truck needs a review. Take the freeway if you are in such a hurry! A flatbed tow truck traveling 70 mph on a county road for the second day in a row. The first day I thought maybe there was a call that you needed to get to. Today I realized you are just driving that fast to get to your shop. Be aware that their are Mothers trying to safely get their kids to school as well as others driving carefully on the snow and ice so they don't have to call you. Tow truck drivers are to help people out of the ditch not put them there.

Got a flat tire the day before and waited 3 hours for triple a. They never showed so the next day I brought a tire to this shop and they towed my vehicle back and had it fixed the same day. Definitely will be coming back here. Thank you!

Had overheating issues with our car while we were headed north on vacation while traveling on a Sunday. We limped the car along until we got to Spooner and we called it. Called Jock's on a Sunday and he answered the phone, which surprised me. Dropped the car off that night and had it back a couple days later. Great service and a fair price. Thanks!

Dropped my daughter's vehicle off there for service, they diagnosed the problem but couldn't fix it on my time line. Most places would charge $$ for the diagnosis, they didn't. If I ever need work done in the future they will be my first call.

I was broke down just north of Spooner on highway 53. One call, short wait. In short order they were able to get the needed replacement parts and install them. Faster than I ever expected I was back on my way north! Great service for a fair price.

These guys were the only ones in a tri-county area who were able to fix my Mazda's headlight issue. I always go to them now for anything I need even though they are an hour out of the way. I appreciate that they are reasonably priced and get the job done well! 👏🏻

I Started having vehicle trouble on a Sunday afternoon on the way home from an ice fishing trip. I called “Jocks” randomly after searching auto mechanics in the area. I live over 100 miles away and have never been to spooner WI in my life. He answered the phone on Sunday and said to drop the truck off (and I could park my trailer in his yard too) and he would do his best to squeeze it in his schedule Monday. I was able to pick the truck up Monday evening. The repairs were done right and for a reasonable price. When i showed up to pick it up he had the truck hooked back up to the trailer and ready to go. I wouldn’t hesitate to to bring my truck there anytime. THANK YOU!!

Broke down on our way home from Thanksgiving late on Sunday night. I called and they came within 20 min. Dropped us off at a hotel and fixed our truck the next morning. We were on our way before lunch. Very happy with our service.

TOO MANY coincidences to be considered trustworthy! Brought our vehicle in to be repaired. Told them EXACTLY what needed to be repaired. Never received any phone calls to give us an update. We called 2 WEEKS later and (what a coincidence) they were just pulling the car into the shop. WE had to call back 2 days later and (another coincidence) they were on the other line ordering the part! 5 days later, WE called again, and (another coincidence) the part JUST arrived. Explained that they could return the part and we'd be taking our vehicle somewhere else. They already had another customer who could use the same part (again, WHAT A COINCIDENCE?!!?) Leaving us without a vehicle for nearly 3 weeks is not acceptable and being lied to is truly the worst customer experience anyone can imagine

We were on our way to the Apostle Islands when our breaks went out. We called someone we knew in the area and they just said "take it to Jock's". So we did. And I'm so grateful we did! It was late in the afternoon but they got right on it and it was ready the next morning around 8:30. They gave a loner car and suggested a local hotel. I thought the trip was over but, thanks to Jock's, it was only beginning. Thanks Jock's!

We had a badly leaking brake line, they got it towed down to their shop the same morning we called. It was ready the next morning with new better quality line and the price was very fair. Really helped out when we were in a pinch, we will definitely be returning when we need work done in the future!

They were able to tow me and get me back on the road less than 2.5 hours after my wheel fell off. No BS, fair price, friendly and great service. Thank you very very much Jock’s.

My father was on the way to the cabin July 3rd with a tandem trailer. Blew a tire a couple minutes down the road. I called Jock's, the lady who answered the phone was very polite and quick to check if they had a tire in stock. They had the tire in stock, my father was in and out in under 20 minutes!!!!! The boys doing the work even put lunch on hold to get him back on the road. Could not ask for more. Thank you.
