I've been using Kim and Greg for over 20 years and they've been nothing but solid, fair, and helpful. They consistently go above and beyond to make sure I'm in a safe vehicle. I'd be lost without them!
Called around after the van started smoking..I looked up" auto repair shops" thankfully they got me in the same day . The price quoted for 2 replacement hoses and more antifreeze ,and the hourly rate ends up costing $567.00 this is cheaper then the price quoted to me at first.This is a nice clean place .
Wow what a lousy way to do business! My daughter took her car into here to get the check engine light tested. According to them she needed 2 ignition coils and a valve cover gasket. After the repair she called me to update me on her car. Now here is the lousy part and made me make this post! I replaced the valve cover gasket myself 3 days prior to her getting the car into the shop!!! What kind of mechanic can not tell that the valve cover gasket was brand new. So I called and talked to the shop myself and they put it back on my daughter stating that she told them that I found an oil leak and that it was repaired! Exactly my point it was repaired because I repaired it myself. And they still put it on my daughter. Another point that I made was I installed a brand new BLUE valve cover gasket and that is exactly what is still on her car now! So I honestly believe they knew the gasket was brand new and did not replace it but still charged her anyways! This place is awful and took advantage of my daughter! They are by no means a professional and trustworthy repair shop.
Greg the mechanic at Rite way Automotive has been so kind and understanding. He went the extra mile helping me figure out my auto issue, and never charged me anything.
People move on our street and park there tow truck taking 3 or 4 spaces on a limited parking street overnight will never get my buisness if you can't think of other people as well as yourself
Very Bad tow experience today. My 2009 Black Yukon was supposed to be towed. The driver showed up to pull my truck. My son asked the driver to wait a minute so he could put on some clothes. The driver drove off with out the truck. When my son called RiteWay towing they acted like they had no idea about what my son was talking about.
I was passing through with just me and my kids pulling a trailer on our way to Florida. I had noticed oil or grease flipping up on my trailer. I called a couple mechanics in the area and riteway auto was able to get me in right away. They seemed to have fixed the issue and sent me on my way with the info that there would be some oil drips from the back where they soaked a gasket in oil before putting it on but that should be done dripping within a day and a half. Well, it stayed dripping the rest of the way to Florida and after I'd been in Florida for a day it started sounding horrible. I contacted them along the way and also when it started sounding bad. They tried to remedy the situation by having me call their warranty company and take it in through there. When that didn't work out they refunded the full amount I paid them for the work. So while the work they did didn't pan out, they went out of their way to get me in, they tried to remedy the situation long distance, and finally refunded the full amount without hassle. In my book, they must be on the up and up to do what they did in this unfortunate circumstance. I was able to get it fixed. The mechanic who fixed it showed that the gasket was damaged and therfore wasn't sealing properly. Not sure how that happened but it is what it is.
My 20 year old vehicle died on me and Riteway came and jump started it. I drove it to the other side of town to charge it up and when I went to get back in my car, it was dead again. They came to help a second time, no charge, but the battery just wouldn't hold a charge. They had to pull it up on their flatbed wrecker truck to get it back to the shop and me without towing insurance! Long story short, all it needed was a new battery! The two mechanics who helped me were very professional and nice and the owner himself drove me back to my apartment, then returned to pick me up when it was done. I was honest with him in the beginning, letting him know I was strapped for cash and he gave me such a great deal which fit in my budget and a break on the labor and towing. I know that old car won't last forever, but it made my day that they got it running again.
Would definitely recommend this business and return to Riteway Automotive (Sheboygan) if I need more car repairs in the future!
They picked up my car and held it for almost 2 weeks and told me every other day when I called that they were going to look at it today. They never had time to look at it and u had to have it towed somewhere else that was able to start on it the same day.
rolled my truck three times was in critical condition on Wednesday called after hours and as being told to call Monday during business hours to see my storage fee and to get my vehicle I sure hope I don't get charged a large amount for storage fee if everything goes well I plan to write a better review as of right now I'm very frustrated with knowing that I can be charged a large amount for my storage fee and tried getting it out and with my condition I was unable to call during business hours during the week
My car was in the shop for 3 weeks for a new key and for some reason, one of the employees decided to take my spare tire. When I realized it was missing, I had called and one of the main people that run the place told me to come pick it up. When I got there, the employee that took it said "I didn't think she'd notice". I believe there are more good people then bad but this is unacceptable. When I got a hold of the the owner, he said he knew nothing of this and would yell at his workers. That won't do any good. The damage is done and I'm not the only person to experience this. Be careful.
I work out of town and needed a tow, they went above and beyond by picking me up at my job and bringing me down to my truck that needed towing!! And the driver was so pleasant! Would use these guys again anytime!!!!
Horrible! They are scammers! $300 to fix the power button for my window, and the broke the housing unit for the power window controls! Very disappointed.... they take advantage of young people that are a easy opportunity!
I took my car to riteway auto for a coolant flush because i had added the wrong type of anti-freeze (green and orange antifreeze dont mix f.y.i.!) My car was also making a rattling noise and i was concerned i may have ruined my water pump by my blunder. They checked it out and found out it was only a loose bolt that was hitting the pully and possibly about to cause major damage. They then replaced that bolt for free! (They easily could have sold me on needing a new water pump and charged me hundreds of dollars) Instead they were honest, went above and beyond, replaced a bolt for free and saved me possible further expensive repairs!
Had my keys locked in my door, they got here within ten mins of my call. Took like 5 seconds to get my keys out. Thank you guys so much!!! That was fast ???
They did a GREAT Job Hooking Up my Car, Towing & Unloading it, VERY Nice People, can Communicate with them. I'll definitely use them again in the Future.

I have never left a negative review online in my life but I feel the need to share so others will avoid being taken advantage of by this shady business.
My car got towed over the 4th of July at 7:45am. I showed up at 8:30am to pick up my car to avoid any storage fees on July 4th. I was told it would be an extra $150 to have someone come in to give me my car that day otherwise I’d have to wait until the next day and pay $70 + $35 storage fee. I get there after work the next day around 4:30 and I say I’d like to pick up my Chrysler Sebring. The guy at the front desk rudely spats “well you have to pay for it first.” In my head I’m thinking, “Congratulations Genius! That’s exactly why I showed up with my wallet in my hand!” He then informs me that it will be $152 instead of the $105 that was told to me yesterday. I explain my situation that I had to work and I was not informed that after noon would count as two days of storage even though I was there 45 minutes after getting towed. His reply, “ do I look like the boss? Because I’m not there’s nothing I can do about it.”
I was lied to and told a different price than I actually had to pay, I was not informed of the 50% price jump after noon, and I was rudely talked to by an old man with sketchy jail tats.
If you are looking for car repairs I wouldn’t trust them. They look like they are barely staying afloat and are willing to lie for an extra $50. Judging on the other reviews this isn’t the first time they’ve treated their customers poorly. Find a honest auto repair that treats its customers better.
Great service drop your car off they'll give you a ride home come pick you up when it's done been there many times now and never had any problems they're nice people great service and the only place I go from here on in
With a radiator that died the day before a 5,000 mile trip, they fixed up our 20-year old vehicle in time to leave the next day. Very friendly owner who drove us home while the truck was in the shop, and whose prices were very fair.
I got to them all the time. Have always had great service!! No billing issues, always honest and call me when they find an issue. They never fix it then call me. They have towed a couple of my customer's cars also and been great to them!! I always recommend Riteway to all my friends and family!!!
I was so pleased with these guys. Was in a situation where I had to go, and could they just take a look at it. They squeezed me in on short notice, took a look, and told me it wasn't the water pump like I was thinking, all without charging an excessive fee. They said I was fine to drive it home so I could get it checked out thoroughly. I just wish I lived closer to them so I use them all the time.
