I had an oil leak. They found it right away and gave us an estimate. They ended up finding it wasn't as bad as they thought and it ended up being hundreds of dollars less! They also accommodate with my work hours.
It’s about time we find a mechanic that actually Goes out of their way to help a customer, I have brought currently two different vehicles that I have owned them for multiple different reasons and prices honestly cannot be beat and courtesy is through the roof. Don’t waste your time and money going to a place that it’s gonna overcharge you and half the time not even fix the issue. These guys are amazing and I highly recommend them

Lima auto has done all my work on my car. They are the most transparent mechanics around, and for a great price. I was quoted 8k for an engine swap at a dealership, versus 5500 at Lima. They are the nicest people you will meet in the mechanic industry, and I can say I will be coming here for all my repairs!
After a bad experience with another shop, I couldn't be happier that I was recommended to go to Lima Auto. They treated me fairly, got the job done quickly, and charged a fair rate. Rochelle was awesome to work with!
Refused to do a catalytic converter install for me based on the year and model of my vehicle without even looking at it. The exhaust is one of the few things on my vehicle that is not rusted. 100% would not recommend this place.
I've been going to Lima/Chris since 1988. Never had a problem. I'll continue to go there, over any other salvage yard in the area. You get to know someone that many years, makes a difference to me.
I've been burned by other yards, so I refuse to buy my parts anywhere else
They are very friendly there and will try to help you any way they can. If you ask most of the time they will let you go pull parts yourself if they have the vehicle in the yard.
They got here ahead of schedule! Guy was really nice. He had the job done in a matter of minutes.

Picked up the car, but whoever answered the phone was soooo rude. And then never gave me the money for the car because we took the battery out before they took it.
Chris (owner) is truly a gearhead. With his support over the last few years, I built a 66 Mustang with a Lincoln Mark VIII engine (now supercharged), Mustang GT Trans, Ford Explorer Axle, and parts from many other cars. All from this yard! Places like this really make hotrodding affordable. I continue to bring my coworkers and friends to visit and buy parts for other cool projects.
Today, I met a newer employee named Andy. He really made my visit fun and entertaining. I feel bad for him being the only Ford guy at the shop. The others don't know what they're missing :)

Thank you guys so much for staying late to let me pull the rear door assembly off of the Rav4. Seriously happy with the level of service and price I got at Lima Auto today. Thanks again I can't wait to do business again.
Had an AWD 4.3 6 cylinder van with no rear brakes and a broken fuel line. Other than that it runs with a good battery. They told me $25-$50 for scrapping it during the phone call to pick it up. Of course they showed up and would only give me the $25. Why not just say to me on the phone that unless it is made of gold they would only give me $25. Kaiser in adell offered me $100 but they couldn't move it for me when I needed it. I feel ripped off and they will never see me again. I suggest doing business anywhere else around Sheboygan.
To above post! Yes they are open! Chris (owner) AWESOME guy, as honest as they get known him my entire life to be able to say and sad you left less than 5 stars over not getting an answer they are so busy and have huge issues foreverrrr with the phone companies out there. The ph issues seem to be non-correctable. They have had tech guys out numerous times. Often the ph does not ring on their end or it rings and redirects to answer mail that just disconnects. This is NOT the Lima guys. Sucks. Service & business is great---guys are great. Owner IS great! Not gettiing ahold of them at random points is an issue---- has happened to me too but I know it is the companies they are stuck with. :( Sucks for them out there too. We gotta support all local business that are honest so the less than 5 stars bums me out.
