They are incompetent mechanics. They kept my car for weeks not knowing what was wrong. Then said it was the ECU and it was discontinued or couldn't find it. I looked up the part online and found literally hundreds of them locally. After keeping my car for weeks they told me to pay for the tow and bring them my title because the cost of the " diagnosis" was worth more than the car. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.

I ended up getting something in my tire. Was not able to get the tire replaced until the following Wednesday. At the place I purchased the tires. I stopped at Johnny's 66 today Friday May 2nd. At the end of the day they were cleaning up. And we're still able to help me by putting the spare tire on. And checking the air pressure in all the other tires. Fast friendly service by the three lady's working there. I'm so careful they were able to help me.

My car battery died and I needed my car started and a new battery located, picked up, and installed. The service I received was friendly, efficient, competent and fairly priced. I highly recommend Johnnie's 66!

Just want to thank everyone at Johnnie’s 66 for the excellent service! My car had a flat tire on the freeway and the entire process from first phone call, getting a tow and finding a new tire was quick, efficient and reasonably priced. Their customer service was exceptional and very much appreciated since it was an extremely hot day. Highly recommend!!

Had my truck for over a month before I got it back. I have a gps tracker on my vehicle and saw it was driven more than I would of liked after repairs were done. The repairs were done to my satisfaction but the price was quite steep.

We found Johnny's 66 after 3 tries at box stores. They fit us in between jobs. Sarah was very nice even carried out 1 of the tires up the street. Small town service is the best.

My girlfriends car broke down and was towed before i could get to it. Didn't realize a tow less than 8 blocks was going to be almost 300 dollars and than 80 dollars for 1 day of storage. I'm pretty sure that's illegal.

Just felt good to be treated like a person instead of a number! We were more than satisfied with the fast and efficient service! I was impressed with the lady in the office, very friendly, always multi tasking and In my opinion really enjoys her job!

Great job on my dads car! Very honest reliable auto mechanic. They fix it properly and keep you informed about everything they fix and if another problems found they let u know and give u the option to fix it while its under there care. Shopping around for a honest good place to get work done on your car or truck can be hard. But im pleased to say i have found my always mechanic now thanks to jhonnies honesty and great service. 5?????

I would highly recommend Johnnie's! We got a flat tire on the highway close to Beaver Dam. We changed out the flat for our spare tire and drove to the shop. Sarah and Johnnie stopped what they were doing, assessed the tire, and plugged and patched it right away so that we could get back on the road. They went above and beyond, the price was very affordable, and they were very personable and kind.

I have been to Johnnie's personally and also used the services professionally. I have always had outstanding service and their customers service has always been above par, and this has for has been over a 20yr span. I would never hesitate to go back here for any of my needs, it is a great business.

WASTE OF TIME! My trooper sat here for three days without any communication. Finally they said their was nothing wrong with spark plug wells except some dielectric grease(suspected issue was misfire). Cam to pickup truck and it wouldn’t start. Took it to Countryside and they said a big piece of rubber was prohibiting the driver side inner spark plug from properly being seated and corrected it in an hour. Like I said - SAVE YOUR TIME. I paid $317 for these guys to change out my rear shocks in the end so go somewhere else if you need RELIABLE diagnostics.

I was in a total jam with my boat trailer. Needed tires and new bearings. They got the tires and repaired my bearings the same day. Saved my vacation with my son. They worked overtime and very friendly and helpful. Thank you. I should mention that I was on 151 when the tread on my tire broke free. Awesome job all around.

Steve and his crew were great in the difficult situation of my car needing to be towed and fixed. Very good communication, honest and did the best they could to get my car back on the road. Highly recommend!

I thought they just did towing. But when I had an opportunity to talk with Steve the owner I learned they do vehicle repairs too. So when my old truck developed an e brake cable issue, I went and talked to Steve and his great staff the week before Christmas. I asked them to do the rear brakes also while they were in that area taking care of the e brake issue. I assumed I would have to wait until after Christmas to schedule an appointment with them. But they scheduled me right away and I had my truck worked on Christmas Eve day. And they worked past regular closing time to get it done, when my old truck gave them unforseen complications. I was waiting for parts to come in. They were very flexible with my needs and their willingness to work with me. And Steve even found the missing necessary part for my vehicle, I couldn't locate one anywhere online, at dealership, or local junkyard. They contacted me promptly when they came across a bad brake line, let me know the estimate given would go up some, and got my approval to proceed with the work. I was very pleased with all their hard work and excellent service. I think they were reasonably priced for what needed to be done. In Steve and his staff I have found our new primary mechanic shop for all our future vehicle needs.

I have used them before and found them to be high priced. We got a quote for a rear brake job this time. The quote was for over $700 dollars for 2- rotors, 2-pads and 1- caliper with instillation. I priced out the parts at the automotive store $230.00 total. I then called Griswold automotive in Beaver dam WI and they would charge me a little over $300.00 with labor. Go to Griswold nice people great service and they will not rip you off. How can a place over charge you that much. This place is crazy stay far far away!!!! I would not even give it a star however it would not let me post unless I did. I would give Johnnies 66 in Beaver Dam WI a -5 star.

My husbands car broke down Friday in port Washington. We called Monday to get a quote. The quote was for 350 to bring it to our house. Fine. It was picked up Tuesday and brought home. The driver was excellent, he figured out the mileage and gave me my price. I paid him $235 what he said i owed. Shortly after I got a phone call from a woman from Johnny's. She was very rude, telling me "I still owe them 115" I told her I paid what he told me to. She said we quoted you 350. You still owe 115! I went to town and walked in and said who just called me?? The lady said me. I told her she had no business being so rude and brass and she needed to work on her phone skills. I asked her how they came up with our quote. She said usually hook up is $100 but Steve said to charge 150?? What??? Price gouging!!! So he probably just threw out a high number with 350 for the tow. The tow driver knows what he was doing and charged according like always, however that wasn't right once he got back. They needed the extra money with Steve's quote he threw out there. Am very disappointed in the price gouging. Its illegal. Dumbfounded. Tow driver I believe was John thank you

I've had the shop next door to them for a couple years and jonnies 66 has been nothing but helpful and respectful to me since day one. I recommend anyone who needs automotive services to go to them first. They have a great crew there working together making sure their customers are happy and Satisfied

Wow! Was passing through from Cedarburg to Reedsburg and had to pull off with a smoking jammed brake caliper for a huge, and old 15 passenger van. A fortunate google search landed us at Johnnie’s, Steve agreed to take a look. It was already near closing as we limped the big van a couple blocks and he pulled it in right away. After quickly ascertaining the problem, he spent over a half hour searching for the hard to find parts, and then stayed an additional 3 hrs as they were delivered (from Hartford if I’m not mistaken). It was a quick repair and we were out a half hour later (this was far past closing, but he was committed to getting us back on the road!). The service was kind, committed, affordable and personable. You can feel the care and commitment oozing out of every pore of the quaint and storied shop. Thank you Steve, our only complaint is that you’re not here in Cedarburg!! You guys would be our go-to hands down! Gratefully, Kurt and Alyssa

If I could give these guys a minus four stars they would deserve it. They only want your money and care not at all about your safety. Do not let these guys near your car unless a week later you want to be driving down the road and lose your transmission. It's now in a transmission shop and I was told they had plenty of evidence that they put gear slip or something similar into the transmission. They do not care about your safety!

Yesterday we called for a tow, the man on the phone was incredibly nice, 15 ish minutes later the truck arrives. Johnny was the driver worked with, he couldn't have been more prepared and professional. He showed up, walked us through the situation, made sure we were aware of exactly what was happening. I couldn't be happier with how this company worked with us. The ONLY quibble I can think of; is the company's "After Hours" charge. We got the tow around 5:45pm, and were made aware of the $30 After Hours charge. The man on the phone made sure we understood that beforehand. They didn't just slap it on the bill at our destination like other companies, so I genuinely appreciate that. Other than that trivial charge, I would definitely recommend giving Johnnie's 66 & 24 Hour Towing if you ever need a tow. 10/10

Scam artist at best. $240 to have my truck towed 2 blocks to his shop 2 months ago. Spent all this time trying to forgive them but the hurt just aint going away and its sadly come to this. And maybe you should take my word, I am a local guide after all.

Took my vehicle here on Wednesday morning at 7am. Had an appointment for that wednesday for my vehicle to be repaired at 8am. Its now Thursday at 6pm and my vehicle hasnt been in the shop at all. I call and complain and the owner Steve' just says "We cant work on it, you can come pick it up". Horrible service. Never take your vehicle here. They are slow and wont work on your vehicle til days later.

Traveling home to Iowa from Appleton, WI our truck broke down on the highway outside of Beaverdam. We were unfamiliar with the area and it was 6 degrees outside! A google search gave us Johnnie's 66 and within 20 minutes we were riding in a toasty tow truck! They worked us in right away, were very friendly -- fixed our truck at a fair price and got us on our way! Family owned business, with down to earth people providing excellent service. Thank you!

I've had my car here many times mostly for oil changes. I had an issue with my stereo component which took forever to resolve due to shipping mix ups. The Staff is speedy when it comes to answers but sometimes their parts are much pricier then other locations. I do highly recommend them because they are honest hardworking fellows that get the job done the first time.

This place is Fantastic. Great attention to detail at a more than fair price. The staff are professional and respectful. In an era where customer service is dying, It was a breath of fresh air to work with these folks. I will return.
