I want to qualify this review with the man that fixed my car was very nice. I have no issue with him as a person. Now I woke up in the morning Sun Prairie Wisconsin, I'm not from here, and my car battery was dead. So I called AAA. Actually my phone was dead as well so I had to use my spare phone. The man came out told me that a cell on my battery was bad. I needed a new battery. $247.99. and I don't get to keep the battery. Now my problem with that is I'm giving up my battery that I don't have any proof that the battery cell was bad. I have no proof that I wasn't just scammed into buying a new battery for $247.99. when I could have gone to any of the auto parts stores and gotten one for $125. But I'm a woman and I really think that I was taken advantage of. So he drives off everything was fine except things on my car didn't work. My lift gate didn't work. So I went to two independent car places. Both of them told me that when the man changed the battery he cracked the part that gets put on the battery, I think it's called a terminal. Some kind of unit thing. I never said I was a car genius by the way. So I called AAA back and I filed a complaint. They told me it was going to take up to 10 days. I said it's not going to take up to 10 days because it didn't take up to 10 days for me to pay my membership fee or for me to pay $247.99 for the battery. The next morning I got a text from the tow company that "fixed the car" and the tone of the text was that it wasn't the guy that did it, it was because of time and blah blah blah. I said you're not going to put me off on this you're going to fix it and you're going to pay for it. So out I go to the business and it did get fixed and I did not pay for it. Now all of this being said even the young man that fixed the car battery connecty thing was very nice. But tow companies have a reputation for being scammers and I'm not sure that this tow company isn't tipping that list. 247.99 for a battery. Advance Auto parts has a battery for $125 that is equal to the one that I got. Walmart has them for $98. O'Reilly 127. Yes I'm a woman and yes I got taken. It won't happen again. Ladies be careful. I'm being generous with the three stars because both men were nice. But $247.99 for a battery is scamming robbery. And after seeing some of the other reviews being aware of so many other people being told they need a new battery I'm very skeptical of this business. And anyone else should be as well. Edit*** I received a text I'm assuming from the owner. He made it sound like he did me a favor by fixing what his person broke. Asked me to change my negative review. It's a review. First of all I didn't give a negative review. I gave the facts in chronological order. If that is taken as a negative review that is not my problem. Second of all it's pretty bold to ask somebody to change their thinking and their feeling and the evidence and the actions that occurred. I didn't say anything that didn't happen and I didn't make anything that did happen sound like it didn't happen. As I said two independent businesses told me the same thing and neither one of them knew I went to the other. I think it's pretty bold and ridiculous to ask someone who explained every event as it happened to change a " review." And as a matter of fact I even said that the man that changed the battery was very nice and the young man who fixed it was very nice. And yes you do have an obligation to fix something that you or your representative of your company broke.

Was on the phone with the dispatcher called him “brother” 2 or 3 times during the conversation as I am asking him about possible repairs at his facility and he says “look I’m not your brother I’m not your friend I’m just here to do a job, where do you want your car taken.” I’d rather spend my money at a place that treats me like a “friend” especially when I’m broken down on the side of the road.

Such a disgusting company. If any business deserves to go out of business is this one. They over charge and steal from people and they get away with it. Why the hell should anyone have to pay nearly $400 to get their car back. A car they only had less than 24 hrs. What type of scamming nonsense is this. They claim is equipment fees what special equipment do they use that makes them better than every other company. I don’t wish nothing good for this company at all. I pray they go bankrupt with nothing. This kind of behavior should be illegal.your company is disgusting just like your employees. If you smart enough please don’t do any business with this company.

I needed my battery replaced, so contacted AAA and got Frank as my technician. He was probably the friendliest, most efficient, hard working individual that I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with! He got to me within 15 minutes of my request and even called me ahead of time to let me know he was a few minutes away. He walked me through the whole process and made me feel assured that I was receiving the best care possible. If Frank is your future technician, you’re in great hands!

Not sure if it was this location but AAA sent them to help start my dead battery. Xavier arrived quickly and explained why I might need to get a new battery. He was thoughtful & kind. Like other mechanics who arrived from Finish Line (over the years they've jumped my car & towed it to my mechanic's garage), he was efficient, yet pleasant .

My car broke down and Klaus towed us off the freeway at 11:30pm. Despite the late hour and how tired he probably was, he kept up good conversation and it eased our nerves a bit. He went the extra mile to bring us to a gas station to be picked up by family as we live an hour and a half away. I came by a week later to pick it up and Avery and Nick were very friendly and professional. Would be a 5-star review, but no one told me about a daily storage fee (not the night of, or the morning after when I called). This was my first bad car situation and there was absolutely no mention of this fee. Had I known, I would've done everything in my power to pick it up sooner. The person on the phone couldn't even tell me if there actually was a fee or how much it might be. It wasn't until my dad called that we got any real answers. But aside from this, the service was very good.

If I could give zero stars I would. The woman dispatcher I talked to today (06/11 at 12:00 pm for the supervisor reading this) was beyond rude and condescending. I tried to explain my financial situation as I was concerned that I could not make my bill payment of $360, and a college student with minimal savings. She immediately shut me down, said they is nothing she could do, and that I can just pay it like every body else. In addition, I took a $30 uber to the impound location just to be immediately sent away, because the car is registered in my father’s name, and not my own, even though I own insurance for the vehicle. The worst part is there is no indication of this on the website.

0.00 I have video of them beating my car because they treat people’s property as trash. They laugh at you on the phone and refuse to have a conversation regarding their scathing customer service. Mind you while a family member was being rushed to hospital for a brain injury. Still think it’s totally hilarious. Bummer I have video and three willing witnesses and contacted the building they contact with. I’m just getting started. Nobody especially a business should contact with these people UNLESS THEY ALSO WANT TO BE FINANCIALLY LIABLE FOR THEIR UNETHICAL WORK PRACTICES!

Awesome service. Very friendly and helpful employees. The first gentleman dispatched was 5 minutes away before he was rerouted to an accident. He called to let me know, totally understandable as they knew I was in a safe spot. They had a new driver routed to me very shortly after who was only 15 minutes away. Very helpful. Got my car moved into a tight spot.

I cannot speak highly enough about the service I received last night. I caught a flat tire at night and finishline had a tow truck to my exact location in less than 10 minutes! My tire was removed and the spare put on in about two minutes top. The guys were efficient and made sure I was able to make it home okay. Make Finishline Towing your first call when you are in need of assistance at a fair price.

This was the best towing experience I've ever had. Dispatcher was knowledgeable and listened to what I was saying. Driver communication was fast and easy to understand. Obviously safety was paramont. Thanks John for such professional and great work.

My car broke down on the freeway. 3 degrees outside and a Sunday. Jake at Finish Line had my car towed to my mechanic within 1 hr. Called me when drop off was completed. Great service. Super friendly. Went extra mile.

My apartment hadn't provided an updated sticker for my parking, and I noticed they were about to tow my car. I ran out explaining the situation to the guys. I appreciate their patience and professionalism while sorting it out. In the meantime I am contacting my apartment complex for an updated sticker, as they advised... I just want to give 5 stars for the professionalism they exhibited - especially when some weirdo like me comes running outta their apartment yelling "STOP STOP!" I also took a digger and they helped me up from the mud. So kudos on that, too. Cheers!

Super friendly dispatch staff that was very helpful and transparent with pricing and ETAs for service requested! The driver Daniel was PHENOMENAL - he was very diligent with pickup, professional, and went above and beyond to help upon arrival to the destination. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!

What a great company with such friendly employees! My family attended the Touch a Truck event and stopped by their truck. The kids got stickers and I got a fridge magnet! I had a horrible experience with this company. Not only did they told my vehicle improperly, they refused to send me photos of the tow truck driver towing my vehicle after he took it without even calling me. I am so frustrated with them. Worse, my four-wheel-drive no longer works. They would not even help me get a diagnosis let alone a repair. When I called the call center. The woman claimed there were photos, but refused to send them to me. AAA also refused. They were so unhelpful, rude, disrespectful, and condescending. I would never ever recommend this towing company to anyone. They are a disgrace and should not be used. If I could read them -5 stars I would.
