Towed and changed my tire same day, the whole process took about an hour and a half for a great price! He helped me explore all options and Dylan is extremely knowledgeable about cars and maintenance. Great experience!

Dylan was GREAT to work with - both for towing & auto repair. He was very patient & knowledgeable in explaining & advising issues about my car repair, giving me repair options & the related cost variables. But most importantly - at NO time did I ever feel that he was "talking down" to me - as so many mechanics do to women. He saved me almost $500 that my previous auto shop, a dealership, was going to charge me for what turned out to be a simple switch flip - NO CHARGE!! Dylan's shop is conveniently located a short way east of Fish Hatchery Rd, just off Greenway Cross/Stewart St on Watford Way. Just got my car picked up. The guy came over quickly and the whole process was easy and quick. He seemed to really know what he’s doing and he was also familiar with my shop of choice. I saved their number.
Go somewhere else. Charged $250 for a tow to his shop from Regent Street. Charged another $250 just to replace a dead battery. Then said he "legally had to tell me" that both of my control arms were bad and needed to be replaced, and tried to charge me over $1100 for that job (on a 2006 car). Took my car to a more reputable mechanic (Wright's Auto) who has done other repairs on my car, and they said the control arms were fine, and the sway bar links needed replacement which cost less than $200 for them to do (eliminated suspension noise).
Dylan was courteous, knowledgeable and helpful to me when my car with a blown tire was towed. And he put on 2 new tires at a very reasonable price. I would recommend him for any auto work.
One of my cars brake lines blew on the way to work and he was able to get it picked up without me there, diagnose and fix it in the same day. Amazing communication too without ever talking in person until the end! Also great pricing with everything he did for me
Probably the most expensive place for trying to request towing services. DK is 7 mins from my place, and the place I had it towed to was 3mins for $140. I've paid for tows triple the distance for $70. Not to mention when I called and requested serviced i told the person on the phone this appointment was book 2 weeks ago because he said "i know a shop that can fix it". When he gets here to tow my car he's like "if you take it into my shop I can discount the tow." I tell him no, but thanks. Goes to explain how they can do everything. Very unprofessional.You can recommend your services for NEXT time but dont keep harassing me because I booked this 2 weeks and I'm for sure not canceling last minute.
Also who doesnt carry change it was 145 i asked for change for 160 he said i dont have change we can just do card. SIR, I'm doing cash for a reason? Next time say CARD ONLY OR EXACT CASH when you pull up. I had to say can we please do 140, he scoffed, rolled his eyes and acted like he was doing me a huge favor.
These guys helped my daughter out when she was in a bind. They showed up in a timely manner and fixed her tire. I'm several hours away and they could have easily taken advantage of the situation, but they were honest and prompt. My daughter has a couple more years in college, and I'll definitely keep these guys number.
I was driving into work yesterday and hit a massive puddle not realizing how deep it was. The cold water hitting the hot coolant hose was enough to cause it to blow out (they were old and worn) and all my coolant sprayed out and burned right off the engine. I called Dylan and DK Auto after my shift, and he drove down to my jobs parking lot and picked up my car with his tow truck. I pointed out which hose blew and he informed me it would be taken care of the next day. Dylan called me this morning and informed me that a couple other hoses were severely worn out and after seeing them in person, I am incredibly glad he pointed this out. I was able to get my oil changed, tires rotated, and all those hoses replaced for an honest price. He was incredibly friendly and definently has the best interest of his customers in mind. He 100% saved me from another nasty coolant blowout in the coming months as well. I would highly recommend his shop to anyone that may find themselves in a pickle or needs some auto work done!
Fantastic! We live in MKE but my car needed diagnostics done ASAP when we were in Madison. He was able to tow, diagnose and repair all same day at a very fair price. Highly recommend, if we ever move back to Madison will be using him for everything.
Got two nails through my truck tires on a construction site. DK showed up, towed my truck, tossed on the spare, and ordered new tires for me. He was fast and extremely reasonably priced. Strongly recommend.
I am a 73-year-old partially disabled woman on a fixed income. I came out to a very dead battery this morning. After many phone calls and researching different places, I came upon DK Auto. Long story short, due to his regular driver being unavailable, he came personally and jumped my car. He was so pleasant to deal with, and on top of all he gave me a discount I can't express how grateful and appreciative I am. Car's alternator died and the battery ran out of juice on the side of the road. Dylan was able to get to us quickly and tow the car. He fully diagnosed the issue and fixed it quickly, and made sure that I understood what the issues with the car were, the severity of each one, and the cost to do the work on them. I had a great experience with them and will strongly consider them in the future for car maintenance/repair that i cannot do myself.
I am so grateful for the service provided by DK Auto and Towing! My car battery was dead when I got off of work and they came quickly to give me a jump. I was very grateful for their professionalism and turnaround time. I plan to replace my car battery with them and would call again for roadside assistance! Highly recommend!
Dylan helped me out with a tow, did diagnostics on my car, got parts and did my repair all within a day. He even stayed after hours so that I could pick up my vehicle. He was super friendly and gave me a fair price as well. I will certainly use his services again next time I have vehicle issues.

Totally impressed with Dylan at DK Auto. My daughter's truck broke down in Madison and needed a tow and repair. I found DK Auto and Towing via a google search. I called and spoke to Dylan who said he could meet me in 20 minutes for the tow and that he also ran a service center so that he could do the needed repairs. Dylan is very personable, was very transparent with pricing, and came through earlier than expected on the repairs (new wheel bearings, tires, and an oil change). His communication was great...keeping me posted on what needed to be done, recommendations, and timing for when we could expect the repairs to be done. I was out of town when my wife called and said she was having vehicle trouble. Her van had quit running and would not start back up and she wasn't sure what to do. I had her check online for towing services and she came across DK auto and towing and gave me the number to call. I spoke with Dylan and very happy I did. Not only was he able to help by towing the vehicle, he also did the repairs quickly. The whole time he was very transparent with both me and my wife about the issue and cost which we are both extremely thankful for. It was nice to have this great level of knowledgeable service and not be bankrupt afterwards. Being an hour and a half away from for work is not the best time for your transmission to go. When most other places in the area said they couldn’t look at my truck for 2 weeks. David said he could have mine done in just one week. And he kept his word. Since I work in construction my truck is very important to me. David was very understanding and upfront as he helped me figure out the best course of action. He worked extremely hard ( even on the holiday) to make sure I had my truck back in time. And at the very reasonable price that he quoted me. I appreciate him and all his hard work. I definitely recommend him to anyone who needs a stand up guy to work on their vehicle
