It's a bit further for me to drive, but it sure beats getting cheated at another place in town. Fair prices, a bit busy sometimes but that alone says it's a reputable business. We all have good and bad days so I don't take it personal if the help isn't as friendly as usual......overall more good then bad days there.

I was quoted .67 a pound for an extruded aluminum scuba tank with the valve removed. when I brought it in yesterday I was paid .20 a pound. I also had a bucket of clean seamless sch 40 aluminum extruded pipe and they paid me for old sheet. Scale operator was also very rude. I will not be returning.
Very quick and efficient, I had some bags blow away and the young man in the forklift got off his seat to come and help me grab them.

I have been here a few times and people are helpful. They changed how they arranged the weigh in and pay out lines, you no longer wait on the left and go right for payment. Both lines are to the right now (which I didn’t notice and walked up like usual and accidentally skipped a few people, sorry!) A bit crowded as usual but service is polite and organized per usual. They just weigh in bulk, not separating the steel from aluminum etc but I am more interested in my metals being used again vs the money so I don’t care.
For this place a one star review is exactly one too many stars!!! What an unorganized mess this place is! Everything is broken, filty dirty, slow and nobody knows what's going on. And on top of it they rude to you! If you can, take you business elsewhere!
I rarely write negative reviews, and even more rarely do I feel uncomfortable as a woman in a male dominated environment. Unfortunately the men who helped me at alter trading said some truly offensive things to me and I will never go back. I honestly hope that this company invests in some sexual harassment training.
Great people. Very helpful. So are the other consumers! I only take aluminum but as I watch the folks who bring all sorts of metal and recyclables, the employees are very helpful. They work as fast as they can. Pretty organized. The office staff—Awesome!
They are no longer open on Saturdays, but no one took the time to update that online. We showed up and they were closed. Super frustrating...since it shouldn't be hard to post correct hours...
I don't know about this place but the waste drop off site right next door is amazing. The people are always so helpful!

A bit confusing the first time here, but they give you money to get ride of stuff you don't want, so can't complain to much.
If the kids are in the car they love to watch the big magnet pick up cars and throw them around.
