We called to see if they were one. Not only were they open, they ordered the part needed before we even got there. Sure we had to wait, but once in the door, at time slot, we were out of there in less then an hour. The folks at service desk, Alex and the man doing the job plus the service manager, made sure it was done quickly, professionally and right. We even got to keep the faulty piece. Will surely recommend them to those in need. And having ppl smile, goes a long way! Thank you.
I came in with a problem with the DPF on my International. They treated me very well, and the mechanic was very friendly and did the work very quickly. Plus, they're fair with their prices and, most importantly, honest with their work. I recommend them 100%. Thank you.
They were pretty quick to service my truck and get me back on the road. I don't care for their parts department so much. Couldn't figure out what part I needed and had to come to location and hope the part was in stock. Other than that, my experience here was nice.
They need to pay more attention to the customers and listen when they are telling them about a problem. Just experienced an issue with our truck that could have been deadly. Took it in a week ago they said they didn't "hear anything" and left it at that. Mean while our shop guy caught it as soon as he seen the truck. But due to the fact that it's a leased truck it needs to be fixed by them. Also, the communication is completely ridiculous. They don't call to communicate anything nor do they call you back when they say they will.

Truck wouldn’t start and when it did would shut off. After calling at least ten local repair shops, they were able to get us a tow to the shop and fixed the sensor. Everyone we worked with really knew the vehicle and the potential issues that it could have been. Got us on the road on our vacation in a couple hours.

Brake line blew in e450 class c in rear, they had new lines custom made and we were back on road in 5 hours. Thank you, most places won't work on rvs or are to busy
We broke down on our vacation! Holiday weekend... after hours... 32 year old vehicle... not good!!! We were towed to Mid State Truck service in Chippewa Falls Wi. Not only did we get fast service but were treated very well too. Nice clean building, friendly staff, knowledgable mechanics. We apprecitated their working hard to get us back on the road again and back to our vacation. Hope we never need to use them again but wouldn't hesitate to call them if we ever need to! Thanks to everyone there!!!

We took our truck there to be serviced and the staff... Daniel and Brad ... were very rude and didn't seem to appreciate our business!! We asked if they could communicate with a different company where we had some service done so they could put their heads together and try to fix our problem and Brad said "Nah" ! We had our mechanic call them and they finally got the problem fixed but when you are paying $131 an hour ... You would really like them to be expeditious!
We had an appt at 11 am and were told the job would be done later on that day! 5 pm came and went and we missed our appt to pick up our load! They didn't seem to care... By noon the next day it was finally ready!
An appt here is merely a suggestion! Be prepared to spend all day there! We live in the area so we had our personal vehicle but if we didn't us and our 3 dogs would have had to get a motel because of their incompetence!! Not happy! The truck is running good but they have no form of communication between them! They were confused as to what we wanted done due to lack of communication! Only take your semi here if your time is NOT valuable! And to top it off after we paid our bill nobody even said have a nice day or come again... No formal salutation! Not impressed!
My wife and I were on our maiden voyage with our brand new motorhome from Denver Colorado. Stopped in Eau Claire to see friends on Saturday night. Heard a noise in rear drive shaft, took it to Mid-State early Monday morning. Asked them to save parts so I could deal with warranty when we got back to Denver. Needed a new Carrier bearing, was done by noon Monday with no appt . Went to pick it up , No Charge because we have an international chassis. Best cust service we have evere received on the road.
They helped me out in a pinch just hours before close time, when I had a school bus break down that I was driving from MN to Wausau after I bought it for a camper conversion. the price was very fair, all things considered..
In September 2018 my fiance traded in our semi. Months prior the semi was brought to mid-state truck,so he could inspect it and come up with a trade in value .$26,500 was the amount agreed upon,however when the truck was delivered the salesman didn't stand by his word.He changed the amount to $26,000. We were trading in the semi because my fiance was quitting over the road driving and going to local hauling,so we had everything else already in place and we would have been letting other people down,if we would have cancelled the deal. So he took us for $500.00 and we were stuck. Years ago men stood by their word,a handshake sealed the deal. Unfortunately those days are long gone,even though some people still pride themselves with good old fashioned morals and values,obviously Greg Munyon at mid-state trucks isn't one of them, it's all about the almighty dollar. Well I guess screwing over hard working people is more about who you are. You have to live with that,not me. Would I recommend this company (Chippewa Falls branch) not on a bet ,but I can by word of mouth try to help other people not make the same mistake we did,trusting the word of a salesman !! I only gave the one star because I had to in order to write the review and there weren't any negative stars
At times I have really great service and at times they forget to call when it's done. They are a pretty big facility so I understand but that is the reason for my 3 stars.
I bought a brand new work star in 2015. Has been nothing but trouble all the time. Brad in the service department is very challenging to work with. Never does what he says he's going to do. Never calls you when he says he's going to call you. Forgets to follow through on important tasks that are necessary for me to keep my business running efficiently. I would not recommend buying an international.
