I’ve stopped in about a dozen times through the years and the staff have always been very helpful and friendly. If they haven’t had what I needed in stock, they’ve ordered it and I’ve received it promptly.
Stopped in for some windshield wipers, because mine were trashed and like 5 years old. I know about as much about cars and maintenance as I do about astrophysics. Some nice dude working there picked me a pair and installed them too! In and out in like 5 minutes. They work great. I love the small town service.
I am a 61 year old small business owner in Chetek. I was in need of a battery replacement. ELISE, a customer service rep at the Chetek store went ABOVE and BEYOND to assist me. Wish I could find someone like her to help me in my own business. She did her research on my collector convertible and not only was very professional but she made a somewhat stressful situation for me enjoyable. They are lucky to have her there representing and taking care of their women customers. Thank you Elise! Also Auto value stood behind their product and replaced the battery under warranty at no charge. No hassle.
Charged my ac right up! The nice guys helped me get the freon charge on sale and even helped me charge the AC. They went above and beyond. Good job! Highly recommend this place.

Recently on vacation in the Chetek, WI area. While parked at a local resort my 2021 truck got heavily coated with pine sap. Could not find anything to get off! I went to Auto Value, Chetek, explained my issue and they took the time to work with me in finding the right product to address my problem. Extremely irritated person working here kept threatening to blow the computer up because the constant slamming of the keyboard and digits caused inaccurate entering of my customer information. This person then ignored us and checked out three other people that they knew before attempting to fix the issue.
This place sucks.
Do not buy brake pads from them, i have done many brake pad jobs and have gone back every single time to get different ones because they gave me the wrong ones to start with.
Very prompt service and was able to purchase exactly the items I needed to fix my taillight bulbs & crack in the plastic cover! Would highly recommend Auto Value!
