My dad was racially profiled by a tower that almost collided with my dad’s car. He began to call my dad racial slurs and then asked if he had a gun cause he was black. When I called the company they laughed at me and said there wasn’t anything they could do very terrible company with closed minded people they all need to grow up and worry about bigger problems instead of being racist.

The drivers name was TR , while the experience was slightly chaotic, due to our dog being towed as well , the driver was excellent and so helpful in making sure we could retrieve our vehicle and dog , as soon as we realized we had been towed. While the fee of towing is absolutely out landish, the driver that night was excellent.

Tony from Doug’s helped me with a flat tire and changed it out for my donut spare on very short notice. I really appreciated his help because I was on my way to pick up my daughter from work. Tony was great—he helped me out when I really needed it with his fast and efficient expertise. Thank you, Tony!

Very rude. Said “ I tried to talk to you the first time, but I didn’t want to talk to him” I’ve never seen this man nor have spoken to this man until he was standing outside my car door. And when I explained to him that I didn’t see the permit signs, he rudely said you can’t see the signs posted and proceeded to point to the corners of the parking lot mind you it’s night time

Tony got my husband and I out of a snow covered embank in less than five minutes, like it was no big deal. Unfortunately this hasn't been the first time my husband's needed a tow company, but darn, if we could have Tony every time we got in a situation, we'd be blessed. He did the impossible with minimal damage. Such a friendly and professional demeanor too. Thank you again Tony! If I could give him 10 stars I would! Anyone need quick service with a professional who knows exactly what they're doing - go here and ask for Tony. They offer top notch service!

Scheduled to have my car towed home from the shop, Tony showed up on time, very courteous and professional and knew exactly how an AWD vehicle needed to be towed. Great service.

I had a flat tire while driving home, so I called my RSA through my insurance. They sent someone out, and within about 10 minutes Tony arrived. He was extremely friendly and made me feel safe and supported during the whole situation. Because it was already after business hours, he was able to get in touch with Pat, the mechanic. Pat came even though it was late, and he was very professional, kind, and easy to talk to. Both of them were so helpful and made the whole process a lot less stressful. I ended up having to leave my car there overnight since it was too late to get a replacement tire. While I waited for my ride to pick me up, Pat stayed with me, even though it was past closing time, so I didn’t have to stand outside alone at very late and dark, I would be scared. That meant a lot to me. I truly appreciate their kindness and how quickly they helped me. This was an unexpectedly stressful situation, but they made it feel manageable. Highly recommend.

They towed my car from private property and claimed that the prosecutor gave them permission without a warrant and without permission to trespass onto the property or any legal reason to tow the car.

Doug’s Towing really came through for me. My driver, Tony, was honestly amazing super friendly, quick, and knew exactly what he was doing. He made a stressful situation way easier. Fast, professional, and effective. Definitely recommending them to anyone who needs a tow!

Got my car when it was out of gas on the top of a hill free of charge. He got there super fast and he was so nice. Tony was an actual life saver!

Tony went out of his way to help when I had a flat tire on the interstate on a Sunday and nobody else would help. He took us to the tire shop to pick up the new tires and drove us back to the shop to put them on, free of charge, so that I wouldn’t be stuck in WV for the night. They were quick to answer and quick to help. Tony communicated the whole time, of his ETA, etc and helped more than imaginable. It only took him about 20 mins to get to us in PA from the time we called and they called him at his house. He was friendly, professional and a great employee. If you need a tow, a tire change, anything, I would 100% recommend Doug’s Towing, especially if you can request Tony!

10/16/2025 my girlfriend was on her way to my house. She hit a deer on the way at 7 PM, we called the first towing company who then canceled on us after 3 and a half hours. Then my road side assistance agent called Doug’s Towing. They sent assigned us our driver Billy at 11:45PM he made it to us outside Waynesburg at 12:39AM. Professional and down to earth guy Billy is a 5 star employee and Doug’s towing is a 5 Star Company in my book. Thank you guys for helping me out in my time of need.

Worst tow company EVER! Takes them 2-3 hrs to get to someone who’s 15 mins away. Then very derogatory and unprofessional. I would recommend a better tow company with BETTER employees. Be careful parking behind the hotel in sabraton by sheets or they will tow your car away.

A few points I'd like to make: 1. You seriously need to get someone else to answer your phone. The woman I spoke to was very rude. 2. $240 to tow a car less than 10 minutes down the road is absolute insanity. Only accepting cash was the cherry on top. 3. Arriving in the pouring rain only to be met with a locked door, and having to wait for nearly 30 minutes for someone to arrive when you were told you could come at any time is not a great look for your business. Honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I've had. I think if the lady on the phone had at least been kind I wouldn't have bothered leaving a bad review. It costs nothing to be kind, especially when someone is being pleasant to you in an unpleasant situation.

I’ll start off by saying I didn’t have to pay for their services (included with the purchase of my car), but Mr. Billy was a huge help and very kind throughout the entire process! He was very professional and helpful, and I’d recommend them to anyone else. I can’t speak on the whole “cash payments only”, but overall my experience with Billy made the whole process a lot more smooth!

I had a blowout an hour and a half outside of Morgantown in the middle of nowhere on friday night at 9:30pm. I called dougs and they immediately dispatched a driver to come tow me all the way to Morgantown. Tony was the best tow truck driver and also person I have ever came across. He was super professional and also went above and beyond what he was required to do. I could not ask for a better experience. Thanks again Tony you're the man!

My daughter’s car was parked at her apartment. Yes the parking pass was expired but so were the 2 cars she parked beside, she was the middle car but a new car. Also parking pass could not be seen from back of.car and to see it in the front the tow truck driver would have had to bend down and look. They towed her after 7pm. No warning given. She went out to go to class and her car was gone. Located her car and called Doug’s towing. They said yes they had her car and it was $179.71 to get it out and they accepted cash only. Why do they patrol and apartment complex late at night and how do they choose who to tow. Nice cars only. Shame on them.

Tony was very professional, helpful and made an otherwise very stressful situation (blowout on the interstate with 3 children in the vehicle) not stressful at all. He and the lady dispatcher were very understanding and helpful. My insurance app said the tow service would be there between 45-60 minutes. Tony called me within 5 minutes and was at our vehicle getting us loaded up within 10. Very quick and helpful. If something like this had to happen on our way home, I thank God that our insurance provides service through Doug’s Towing. I highly recommend them.

Highly recommend Doug's Towing, in particular, their driver Billy. After being involved in an accident our vehicle required towing. Our insurance contacted Doug's Towing. Billy responded promptly and was extremely professional through the entire process. Billy's pleasant personality was helpful given the stressful circumstance.

Scummy business, only take cash ( so you better have a huge stack of cash or you’ll be out of luck), also I live in a apartment building, so when I needed to have a car towed that was parked in my spot, I called them and they said they needed prior approval from the apartment manager… like seriously???? Why do you need prior from someone…. I’m the one asking for the tow…… ( also never had that issue before) so I don’t know what is up with that, like people ask you for a tow, you tow the car…. That’s literally your job, don’t give some BS about needing some approval from someone else, cause I’m pretty sure when your towing legally parked cars or whatever shady stuff you do, you’re not asking for “prior approval”….. just don’t use them, they only take cash ( and a criminal amount of it), tow everything expect the cars that need to be towed, and you’ll have to call multiple times to actually get an answer ( that will probally be no, and than a hang up ) , also FYI Doug’s: nobody carries the amount of money you need, either take other forms or payments or just shut down cause that’s some BS

My child got a flat tire when something flew from the truck in front of her and it slashed her tire. Tony came and towed the car to Walmart. Great dude. He took care of the car as if it was his own. Cannot recommend enough!!!

One star for your receptionist/bookkeeper and one star for Doug. I've been a long time customer of Doug's Towing. I was recently in a car accident, tractor trailer versus my Camry. First responders asked if I had a towing preference. With a fresh concussion and gnarly whiplash, I said, call Doug's, they've always been good to me. The tow truck driver responding to my accident on scene said nothing to me, just asked for my key. The same tow truck driver later lost my key, then argued with me at the shop about it, refused to let me borrow a screwdriver to get my license plate off, and continued to make rude comments to me. Medical professionals continue to tell me I should've died because of this accident. I do not deserve or need the disrespect from someone I instantly thought of to ask for help in my time of crisis. God forbid something like this happens again, I will have to go elsewhere.

Billy was the driver and he was awesome! Great driver and professional. Got my car towed back home quickly and safely. Would definitely use this service again if he was driving.

My rear axle broke on a holiday weekend. I was told by the dispatcher it would be 15-20 minutes before they arrived. I was very pleasantly surprised when Tony showed up to my rescue just 5 minutes later. He was very polite and professional. Tony was very knowledgeable and managed to get my vehicle on and off the roll back without causing any more damage. If I ever need a tow or road side assistance in the Morgantown area I will most definitely use Doug’s Towing again. Awesome experience. Thank you Tony!

Me and my sister wanted to Go to 2 stores , We come from Waynesburg. Getting off exit my car acted funny, shut off . We had a few awesome guys help push it off road , So I hear Tony girlfriend saw us stranded, she called him, He came right away, We called my niece to come save us, She was a big help to...I just want to shout out to Tammy for calling her man Tony , and Tony ,He was just great, friendly. I'm from Pennsylvania and was traveling back from Ohio with my wife and service dog. I had a blowout and my insurance company dispatched Doug's. After over 2 hours they were a no show and wouldn't answer my calls or my insurance company's calls. My insurance company then called Mike's towing. Their driver John called me within 2 minutes and was at my location in 20 minutes. He not only towed my vehicle to Sam's club (which was now closed because Doug's never showed) for new tires, but also dropped us (me, wife AND service dog) off at the hotel we had to stay at BECAUSE DOUG'S NEVER SHOWED! He wouldn't even take a tip. If you need a tow, don't waste your time with Doug's. Call Mike's towing instead.

We called Doug - he arrived in under 10 minutes, let us know we needed a new battery, followed us to an auto parts store, and helped us put in a new battery. Fast, honest, friendly service!!
