So I pulled into the store at 7:28 Tuesday morning because I read the hours were 7:30 to 9pm. I didn’t want to miss more work than necessary to get some bulbs for the piece of equipment at work. So does the store open at 7:30 or is that the time the worker goes to work? He actually got to the store at 7:33 and went through the door and let me in behind him. He informed me that it would be several more minutes before he could wait on me. He had to clock in and count the money in the drawer. Should he do this before the store opens at 7:30? So either his schedule needs to start at 7:00 or the store needs to open at 7:45. No knowledge of automobiles unless he can read a number off a tailight bulb. Good luck with these youngsters today clocking in early or giving the company a few extra minutes of their time!

On the way north to Canada one of our windshield wipers got frayed in the snow ice mix. We stopped at this parts store and explained our dilemma as there was more snow expected on the way home. The staff there said no worries we will fix you up. The first wiper had a different connect but the fellow helping went back in and got a different wiper and put it on in seconds. I know it cost more than the first, but he said "we got it, you're all set, drive home safe." I have never met friendlier and more helping people anywhere in the US or Canada. Anyone going by Morgantown should stop here for parts and help.

If you need help with your vehicle of any kind, you cannot do better than the Advance Auto parts at 1000 Fairmont road just off interstate 79, the whole crew seems top notch but especially Devin, he is the epitome of excellent customer service!

Didn't have parts for my car. Had to wait about 15 minutes before I was even helped. Only 2 people working and 1 wouldn't come to front desk when called to help customers. Poor service

Helpful parts consultant got me what I needed quickly, but prices could be lower.

Went to see about getting my car tested and was asked to wait 5 to 10 minutes. Ended up sitting there for 45 minutes and someone else that just pulled in got there car tested. I feel I was overlooked.

Fast, efficient, and knowledgeable. I had a bad battery. They tested my battery, alternator output, and starter. Verified the battery being bad and installed the new one for me with the little foam corrosion protector disks that I bought. They made sure to tell me the price and years of warranty for each battery option and set me up with an account to track my purchase bate.

Absolute worst experience of my life. I go in for a headlight and to get it changed. They say they can’t change it cool. Useless employee spits out numbers to me as if I’m gonna understand what he means. And after I go to change to the bulb the moron gave me the wrong one after I basically forced him to go and grab it for me because again I want to reiterate numbers and random letters mean nothing to me. The dude who actually helped me return it and give me the correct one was cool tho.

Awhile back I went there to purchase lower ball joints for my cobalt. They ended up selling me the wrong parts 3 different times before one of there employees realized that they kept giving me the wrong ball joints

Went to get a quart of oil but after talking to the employee I made an appt for an oil change with the dealer. He was very helpful

Website says it opens at 7:30a.m., sign out front says opens at 7:30 a.m. yet its 7:45 2nd day in a row. Then try to tell me that the part im requesting isnt what i need screw this place

The folks here are not very savvy with car parts, and have a bad attitude every time I stop in. I'd recommend somewhere else unless you're in a pinch.

Manager refused to sell me $5.00 worth of plastic body panel retainer pins unless I gave them my phone number. The manager stated it was for "warranty purposes". I told her there was no warranty on this item. I am tired of companies insisting you give them your personal information to conduct a transaction. I guess all my business will go to Auto Zone and online parts dealers from now on.

Great customer service experience from the door. Great service. Don't let up! Courtesy is an endangered specie these days!

Love it. Right down the road from my house. Misguided communication is the worst but that's anywhere. What I know a part as isn't what the system knows it as. We learn together

I called to ask if a device was made to keep power to the car computer when removing battery terminals for cleaning. The manager took over the call to explain they are available but they didn't currently have them in stock. I explained it was my daughter's car who was traveling and the battery terminals were very corroded. She said to bring it by and they would hook it to their machine to preserve any settings and clean up the terminals. She suggested a $3 kit to help prevent them from corroding again. Preston did the work. He took out the battery, cleaned everything, checked the battery (which was fine) and put everything back together with great care....I was VERY impressed.

Such awesome employees! I was in town at the hospital with my father when my car died. I have never had my car die at home much less over 200 miles away from home. Tyler very quickly told me it was the battery and tested to be sure. He then picked out a battery and took care of the rest for us. The past 3 days have been terrible for my family and Tyler did what he could to make that easier on us. I would recommend this location to everyone.

We were in a pinch today with a dead battery. Tyler helped us out with getting and installing a new battery, could not be more happy. Advance is the best.

Prices are high but the people working there are very friendly and ready to help with whatever accesories your car truck ECT may need

The employee who waited on me was helpful in finding a plastic push pin for the bumper of a Toyota Camry. I didn't see one for a Toyota that looked like it would match, but he found me one made for a Nissan that worked just fine. He said a lot of the Asian vehicles used the same design. The store was also very neat, and the staff was friendly.

I'm not very good with cars so when I went in asking for brake pads the guy was very friendly and helped me out. Even looked up a couple other things that I mentioned I was going to need in the future. I highly recommend them. They will tell you the truth and try to give you the best deal they can!

These guys bailed me out big time. Had a string of issues that kept me there for hours. I cannot thank them enough.

Always have interacted with smart, knowledgeable employees. I particularly enjoyed my interaction with one of their female workers. She was very honest, funny, professional, and knowledgeable.

Wife's battery died last month. Fortunately it happened in the Advance Auto Parts parking lot. Guy at the counter told me he wouldn't help change the battery because it was a Mercedes. He also told me that the car needed to be towed to the dealership to be reset after changing the battery or the car wouldn't start. Ok...that sounded odd to me and not wanting to pay for a tow and dealership charges; I decided to buy the battery and change it myself. Long story semi-short. Car started fine with no problems. Glad I didn't listen their advisor.

Car parts were available at a competitive price. Not happy that the person calling seemed more important than me, who was standing there with payment in hand

Staff is nice. Very helpful. They most likely have what you need unless it's an uncommon part.
