Such a great, honest guy. We were on a trip, headed to Ohio with our family, pulling a utility trailer. The trailer tire went flat and Mr. Stevenson was quick to bring us a new tire. It ended up being a much bigger issue than just a flat tire and Mr. Stevenson was beyond helpful to us. He helped with the trailer and had us back on the road in no time. We are beyond grateful!
Dave helped us with our motorhome exhaust system after our mishap on a narrow two road. He came to the campground after dark to assess the damage. He then returned the following morning to complete what he could of the repair. Excellent and timely service.
They are available 24x7, but not opened like Google shows. Owner answered his cell promptly, and had someone back to the shop within 30 mins. Took care of us quickly for a fair price.
Very expensive guy. He take just for force regen 675$. He told me that he has finished the force regen but he didn’t do it also till the end. Next day I did it once more for 125$.
He was quick professional & fair priced, he will be my 1st call if I'm in the area and ever need anything else done. 5 stars isn't enough in my opinion. They are service calls only, the shop is there and can be used but the actual shop isn't open so it's best to call ahead & see if he wants to meet you there or have him come to you.
I blew a coolant line towards the back of the engine on a 2016 freightliner on a mountain in rural WV.David came within about an hour .The amount of extra parts,hardware,and other stuff he has on his service truck blew my mind,about like how fast he got me fixed.ive been a truck driver 20+ yrs and his abilities,professionalism, and concern to get me back on the road again was 2nd no nobody.
Blew a fuel line in VA at the Love’s. He was called at 7:20 am and was there within an hour. Dave took the old fuel line off and had a new one made to get me on the road before noon. Considering the line was between the cylinder head and firewall in a tough to reach spot, he made it look easy. The price was also extremely reasonable. 10/10 would recommend to anyone in the area.
Stranded on the side of the road in West Virginia with a flat tire and 9am and AAA can’t get anyone to us until 3pm. I called Dave at Stevenson Truck Repair on a Saturday morning and he was there in less than 30 minutes and had us back on the road in no time. Does not go by original quote and thinks they know
it all, won't listen when you say you do not want something and still charges you for it. Completely over priced and to top it all off they have a two hour minimum that they do not tell about before they come out and do the job, even for a 20 minute job.
Very quick respond and reasonable prices. We had a broken fan belt on Volvo D12. Local volvo dealer didn't have it in stock. They called Volvo, got belt specs and size and match it at a local store. About 1.5 hours from service call to show up on side with parts. Very, very quick respond. Thank you.
I had a break down today on the side of the road. Looked up Mr. Stevenson and gave him a call. He was ask a couple of questions and was out to me quickly. We managed to make it to his shop. Within a matter of minutes he was able to diagnose the problem. Start the needed repairs and get me back on the road. He's an AMAZING mechanic also an AWESOME PERSON!!! Hose split , called one of the “big” guys and had to leave a message , tried here next. Call was answered immediately and he was in route before the first place returned my call. Friendly, professional, and back on the road quickly. Highly recommend !
Don’t bother with this guy, I called him 3 am he said call back on 9 am but his hours suppose to be 24/7 him and his son work together I guess both As, and asked him the price he told me the $ then told me called back around 9ish then I did then he changes the price after 6 hour waiting for this guy he changed my price then he didn’t show up he said he’s another call what azz wipe then I called other guy he’s name were SJ,his business name is NU way transport call him he is way cheaper then anyone else out there, he went bought the part 30 miles away and back very cheap price,thank you SJ Nu way…

My wife was pulling a trailer on a road trip and it blew a tire. Stevenson Mobile was able to get 2 new tires on a Sunday and got out to replace the tires in about an hour!!! The service was amazing and timely! The professionalism was above and beyond anything I could have asked for in such a stressful time!
Mr. David Stevenson opened his shop on a Saturday to fix Mr Sorin Pascalau Semi truck and charged him for 1 hour labor , and didn't even charge for the service call. 1 hour of labor is all Mr. Stevenson charged Mr. Sorin Pascalau for fixing his semi truck. Mr. Stevenson did everything Mr. Sorin Pascalau asked him and got him back on the road. Mr. Sorin Pascalau there is no reason to put a bad review on his page, because he took his time to fix your truck on a Saturday, opens his own shop up to work on it that day, and gets you back on the road. Stevenson Mobile Truck Repair is only open by appointment only and has a 95 per hour minimum call
We had a clutch issue, it was about out of any adjustment, and they got it adjusted to get us back to Iowa, we have had to utilize many emergency/roadside services over the years, this is by far the best...FANTASTIC SERVICE, they are the real deal, prices good, the man knows is stuff!
Honest, reliable, experienced, flexible, and trustworthy -- what more can I say? My wife and I were visiting my son at Fort Bragg, NC when we go a call that my mom had been admitted to the ICU at the hospital in our home town back in Wisconsin. We immediately hooked up our trailer and got on the road. Just north of Princeton, WV, on the Interstate, the right bearing on the trailer burned up, exactly what we didn't need. We did a quick search and found Stevenson's Truck and Trailer repair in Princeton; they had good Google reviews, so I called (while the extremely helpful WV State Trooper was at the window of my van), David answered on the second ring, and said, "sure, have the wrecker bring it over and I'll meet you at my shop". Once at Stevenson's Truck and Trailer Repair shop David immediately dropped what he was doing to pull the wheel off my trailer to see the extent of the damage; when he jacked up the trailer the wheel/hub/tire literally fell off onto the ground. The damage was extensive and I was in a hurry to get home, so David agreed to store my trailer for two weeks and worked well with the shipper when my trailer needed to be picked up. David even went as far as finding a way to install a new bearing so that the trailer could at least be moved around while on the ground. All of this happened outside of normal business hours and what David charged me was extremely reasonable. Even more important than his reasonable fee was the fact that I knew that I could trust him. To David and his wife Tammy, I am more grateful than words can capture; thank you for being honest, responsive, and reasonable through our entire ordeal. VERY sincerely and appreciatively, Joseph E. Stevenson Truck Repair is a true 24/7 reliable diesel repair outfit. I called at 0530 and I'm pretty sure I woke the man up and he still got to me at the Bluestone Travel Plaza in 45-60 minutes. We got the issue resolved and I was on the road in no time. Very courteous, professional, and fair. Highly recommend if you're ever stranded in southern West Virginia.
