For a Large facility, they are industrial sfatey conscious and be careful. Very helpful in telling you what to do in their yard.
The process is fluid if you call or stop at the office FIRST.
Weighing is open air and you can witness everything they are doing. They will address any concerns and answer your questions.
I have been to a lot of public scrap recycling sites and they got it going on for efficiency and safety. Beware this is a Huge Industrial activity and you are responsible for your actions.
I will recommend this business to anyone needing their services and will be back again.
Dry vans gotta stage on the right of the entrance then walk to left side of side of building by the scale! They open at 7. Then do paperwork stuff then they will tell u wut to do next. For me, i had to sit on scale and wait for green light(the circle is defective but its next to the numbers on the left). Then get off follow other trucks.. forklift driver will find u or youll c him, will lead you where to go & how to leave. Park n bring clipboard back to office window.
Btw the staging/ovn is limited depending how people park but you might can also creative on the side some where coming in. Also the roads is skinny getting here so leave space for everyone or ur tires will be off the road. Not bad. The swept me out but not good. Not the most friendly ppl. Really busy place and wen u get off scale, close the gaps and make space. And close the gaps in traffic too with space not ride on peoples bumper.
I can say 100% this is the best recycling company for ever. First - missed appointment, but they took me like a second truck, good people in the office, forklift driver escorts you from scale to the portable dock (VAN trailer). No chaos on facility, little dirty, but the still have asphalt. Respect all people, who works here. Overnight parking available, but only for people who has delivery. Security taking your information and seeing BOLs
PS brokers is suc.k…ers. The scheduled me for afternoon, office said my appointment was yesterday, hahaha.

This place will rip you off every single time giving you dirty metal prices and calling every thing dirty aluminum I had one bin of aluminum rest copper, wire, motors, brass all broken down for easy weighting in and still rob you I look at the receipt and it showing multiple times that cheap aluminum was rang in not what they where actually had on the scale
Been going here for years, the last two times I've been asked for my ID, never once had I ever been asked prior to that. They use to run a magnet in your copper, aluminum and etc to check to see if it was dirty or clean. Now, if there is too much for them to check. They just give you a dirty price.. lesson learned.
They kinda low ball you here. Don't get me wrong, it's very convenient to have a recycling company near but the prices they give for certain items are completely disrespectful.
Kind of crowded with obstacles and debree, but it's workable getting around in there even with my 53 ' trailer on these big wheels. Servis is good. Very informative, let's you know what going on and when. Then escort you around. In and out in 2 hours
I ride along.. just to see the amazing amount of work that goes on at that place.... That place is so busy... But they seem to know what they are doing
Best place to sell your scrap metal in Mercer county. Great crew to help you unload and lighting fast service. They have a mass spectrometer gun that can determine what alloys or material you have if necessary!
Its ok robbing people scrap on a dollar but the Place is looking great there cleaning it up and organizing everything and service is helpful and friendly
If your not going to be open the first and third Saturday's of each month, then don't tell people that or have it on your voicemail, or post it on your door, or on your website. We drove all the way up there only because we like doing business there with you guys. Spent money we didn't have only to drive all the way there for nothing. Poor rating.
