Well, I took my Infiniti G37 Sports Coupe to Als and I already knew that there was nothing wrong with it. However, within the first 15 minutes they told me that my car needed the bearings changed on both front wheels and said that their little hand held diagnostic computer also revealed that the entire cooling system needed flushed. This miraculous computer also told them that my car was overheating. The total remedy for my cars illness would only cost me a paltry
$800, maybe more! The moral to this misadventure was that I had already been to the Infiniti Dealership and they did my scheduled auto maintenance and there was absolutely nothing wrong with my beautiful black Infiniti G37 Sports Coupe Race Car at all. I had been hired by a group of disgruntled older human beings to investigate and see what I could uncover. I realized that this business was only in the business to profit off of the fears and hopelessness of individuals who don't have the time to learn and understand the complexity of the new auto technology and undermining of the men and women who put their money and trust in con artists.

We had our daughter’s car break down and Al’s came thru our aaa he told us could fix it. A week later got phone call stating it fuel pump and I had to pay up front for the pump, after reading other reviews now I know why because their credit is ruined throughout multiple parts suppliers. Days later we were told they still having issues. I drive thru town and see my vehicle parked blocks away at another automotive shop. He had it towed there dropped off and didn’t even notify us or ask if we were ok with it. I go into the shop to find out what’s going on and that’s when Mike Riley lays all his bs out. Mike goes on for over 30 min telling us that our previous mechanic did a horrendous job on our motor install and that’s why we having issues now due to electrical shortages frying our fuel pump, states motor mounts where not even all put back on and even to tell us he lied about the amount of miles the motor had. Mike even stated that he wouldn’t put his kid in that car and how unsafe it is. Mike said he had photos and videos of evidence which he has not provided to me after asking multiple times. My previous mechanic has provided me with all info contradicting everything Mike said (which I have every conversation recorded with all three mechanics) Even the other automotive shop Mike had car sent to stated none of the info he told us was correct! Mike lied and lied, borrowing a ecm from friends ? I’ve never came across a business that dealt in such a malicious manner of out right lies. Even when I had my car towed out because it still isn't running it was a mess, multiple Items inside broke. Tools left laying on floor. Biggest mistake was allowing this business work on my vehicle. Beware! Shady, scandalous!
Thank you for quickly responding to our tow request. Al’s was there within 15 minutes and had us quickly loaded and on the way to our destination in a short amount of time! And the price was reasonable!

Used their service through AAA. They arrived on time and helped move my vehicle. They used a flatbed for my pickup and took it to the shop on the pike as requested. Great service all around and a pleasant conversation as well. Would totally use again when I’m in need! Thanhs Al’s Auto!!

Be careful AAA recommended them for a 230 mile tow, they first tried charging me for 100 miles over at 700$, but when I told them the shortest and longest routes were within 75 miles the price went to $525, because they couldn't take the shortest route. Luckily my car had gps in it, i found out that they took the shortest route, even though they swore to me that if they went on the turnpike it would cost me $1300. They scamed me out of $315. Tldr don't use them they will scam you.
Al's got dispatched for car power loss through AAA. Immediately knew either battery or alternator after running check. They offered to fix issue same day (and did) and deliver car back to location it got towed from. Honest and upfront about repair and gave options on replacement part costs. If you're not using Al's as your mechanic, you're not going to the right mechanic.
Beware of selling to this business, they manipulated a new salesperson of ours to ship them an order for $3333.67 and then flat out refused to pay, they claim they didn't order the merchandise but that is not true, they constructed the entire order as the salesperson was new and just learning. We called repeatedly offering to pick the merchandise up, they kept saying they would call back with the items they wanted to return, they never did and they will not pay. BE CAREFUL!!!! They were great. Noone would move my trailer. They came over and hour away to look at it, then came back another day to make sure it can be done safely, then determined to keep his word, the came out with 2 trucks and the right equipment to make sure it got done. Then they showed me thing about the trailer I didn't know since this is my first one. 100% I would recommend them. They will be upfront, honest and safe. After dealing with multiple people who didn't know what they were getting into, Als got it done.
When picking up a vehicle from an accident and taken to their yard. The person should tell you that they start impound fees as soon as it gets to their lot. That was a mistake by me not calling them after my daughter’s car was damaged. Beware of huge fees! Had to give up car to cover costs. If they tow your vehicle. Get it quickly. Now they will sell the car and make money because it was drivable. Salvage title specialty.
Don't work with this company. Mike Reilly is the new owner. He will rip you off. He ordered $4k worth of supplies from my company and hasn't paid one penny of it. He also refuses to return the orders but I guess he cant because he already used all of it. As soon as I told him he had exceeded his credit limit and needed to pay, he stopped taking my calls. I should have listened to the warnings given by people that know him that he is shady and untrustworthy. Al's Auto is now in collections. Its a shame that this once owned family business has had its name tarnished like this. As a lesson, demand that the new owner can't use your business name or anything close to it if you are selling your business. The former owner was wonderful. Mike Reilly is trash and crooked and most definitely will run Al's Auto into the ground. He can't keep employees. I saw around a dozen come and go during my couple months dealing with him. If you decide not to listen and work with him, you better get cash upfront or he'll rip you off too. Doesn't deserve the one star I gave in order to post this.
I took my vehicle there for a problem and they misdiagnosed it and said it was the rack and pinion which cost me $1000 for parts and labor! That was not the problem ! took it back and now they are telling me that it is the power steering pressure hose which they want to charge me another $260 instead of fixing there misdiagnosis! very poor service will never go there again! The hose was the problem from the beginning! I got the price for the hose from Napa and it is only $54.99 and Al’s told me it would be $159 just for the hose plus labor.That is very poor business!
Incredible service. These guys are lifesavers. We had never been there before, and called them for help on an across state road trip stranded on the side of the road... flat tire and no spare DOH. Even though it was minutes before the listed closing time, Al's Auto Services sent out a tow truck immediately, got the car back to the shop, got the right size tire, and the car was back on the road safely in no time flat. Thank you
TOBY'S, did an oil change. Had an appointment for 11am. Didn't get done til 1250pm. Bc they were "waiting on oil"!! Then they failed to replace the oil cap! So I was getting warning lights on my dashboard. Had to go back the next day. They stuffed a rag in my oil tank, bc they had to order a new cap. Never again!
As a women I have never felt like I was being mansplained too. I asked if he would be willing to work with the DHHR office who were helping me pay for repairs and he happily stated he never has done that but is more then willing to try to work with me and them and I thought that was really nice. I had gotten a previous estimate on my car that was triple the amount of his estimate. I will be returning for future car needs as the service was pleasant and flexible and I really felt like they wanted to help me get my car safely running without bankrupting me. The other place saw a women and tried to take advantage, Toby saw someone who needed help and was open and willing to do anything he could for me. 5 stars!
I took my vehicle in for an inspection. The mechanic that took my vehicle was gone for thirty minutes. My vehicle was only one year old; he didn't need to be out that long -- disappointed.
