They keep my old vehicle running safely & reliably. Thorough inspection is backed up with photos & written details. All of the inspection reports, photos, work performed and service history on my vehicle is provided on their website. Recommendations are appropriate - fix what is necessary, monitor wearing items that can wait. Their people are bright & personable and explain details clearly. These folks seem like neighbors maintaining cars for neighbors.

Besides finding and installing the new tires that my SUV needed, Anacortes Automotive did a complimentary fluids, etc..., check. They are very friendly and professional and were recommended by 2 of my friends when I was looking for new tires. They also have a friendly shuttle driver.

Had a great experience at the shop. Very good communication in telling be what was wrong with my vehicle and then when it would be fixed. Quality work from a quality shop!

I recently had my vehicle towed to Anacortes Automotive for an emergency repair after it broke down at the beginning of a road trip. They were quite patient and professional. They diagnosed the cause and had me back on the road within two hours. The staff was friendly and professional. And the office and waiting areas were clean. I am very appreciative of this team, from the office staff to the repair technicians, especially when they were undoubtedly already handling other planned repairs. Thank you so much!

Very professional. They did a very detailed inspection of a used car we bought and provided pics of any areas of concerns. They did a great job fixing a couple of problem areas. Great communication and follow up.

My Mother puchased a battery from Anacortes Automotive a month or two back and a few weeks later she accidently bumped her map light and drained the battery unbeknownst to her. She brought the car back into the shop and the staff brought her home ... rechecked her battery level, made sure it was properly charged and checked the cables....then figured out the dome light situation. They got her back to the shop, back on the road...all while squeezing her in to their already busy day. And did not even charge her a diagnostic fee! What a fantastic organization! They provided much more than gettig my Mom's car to start - They gave her peace of mind of her vehicle starting, Peace of mind she bought her battery at the right shop, Peace of mind she now knows an auto shop vested in her best interest, and they gave me peace of mind also - as the Son writing this review 2000 miles away! Overall a quality experience. The process is extremely easy to schedule and receive detailed updates on the scheduled service and overhaul condition of the vehicle. Great communication with the scheduling agents keeping us well informed informed during the process. High marks for the quality of the repairs and thoroughness of their safety checks. Anacortes Automotive has stood by their guarantee on the quality of their repairs.

What a great experience I had today with Dan. He explained my “Maintenance Required” light and even remembered how to turn it off on my 2003 Honda Accord. That’s remembering from way back! Thank you tons, Dan. I’m from out-of-town and am relieved you had a quick response to my worry. The best of the best mechanic!

Was excellent! I needed a flat tire repair asap for a doctor's appointment. They came and had my car repaired and returned with an hour to spare. They refused to take any payment. They are amazing!!!!

Very friendly staff, I enjoy the process of reviewing the estimate via text and then being able to see a breakdown of all priced items. I will continue to go to the shop as needed because I believe they are trustworthy and provide quality work. Not to mention they have a shuttle service that will drop you off and or pick you up if you are not wanting to wait for your car. If you guys want to do a free detail service, I'll take advantage of that lol. Thanks again

Could not recommend the folks at AA enough, they have always provided stellar service and are kind, compassionate, and knowledgeable! I recently had an unexpected issue with my vehicle and as always, Anacortes Automotive was the solution! They happily took on diagnosing and fixing the problem with zero notice, allowing me to drop my vehicle off the same morning I started having problems with it. After a quick and professional repair, they got me back on the road after explaining the issue and making sure I understood exactly what had gone wrong and how it had been addressed. Highly recommend!

I came iin for a recall, was in and out in half the time expected. All Service personnel were attentive, courteous and friendly. Returned the next day after getting towed to my local auto service in Anacortes with a check engine problem that was triggering the governor which choked down my speed . Next day I drove very cautiously and slowly back to the Kia dealership for them to check it out. I can’t say enough about the courtesy and understanding with which I was treated by everyone from the Customer Care Rep who got their followup going. The jury is still out which may take a couple days, but I was given a courtesy ride home from yet another friendly and professional staff member. I could not have been treated better and am truly grateful for all of it. It was a high stress situation for me that was handled with a great balance of professionalism and compassion.

I really don’t like leaving poor reviews, but this has been a really frustrating experience. It’s cost me a lot of time and effort, but in the long run, I have learned a great deal. I will say that they’re good for oil changes and all the guys who work there are super friendly and nice. However, I was told that my vehicle needed 5 to $7000 worth of work. I got a second opinion (And input from a friend who is a mechanic) and not only are they way, like way! overpriced, much of what they said I needed actually does not need to be done. I didn’t feel empowered or given knowledge as to why they came to the conclusions that they did. I won’t be going back and I will bring my business elsewhere.

The folks at this place are great in all respects. If needed, the waiting area is clean and a nice place to be. I drop my vehicle off since we live within a few miles. They are quick to inspect all aspects and email a report of findings, with pics if necessary to document any issues and will discuss actions that are needed, if any. They just seem professional and responsive. I have total trust in dealing with them. Thanks again Shawn and team!

Sean and Anacortes Automotive went above and beyond to make sure my Pathfinder was working properly. They guarantee their work. In my case that included towing my Nissan, and working on it two more times after the first time because the part they ordered was defective, all at no cost. They are friendly, helpful and they want to make sure they back their work. You cannot go wrong choosing Anacortes Automotive.

Shaun and the team are great! We worked through my needs for my car, it was easy to schedule and they were very flexible as we have to come by ferry. Service was done on time, great report with some areas to focus on for the future, and everything needed was done. Very positive customer environment, I will be back for sure!

Jeff helped me out, after I brought my Toyota Rav 4 in for help—nothing mechanical but aesthetic, and I didn’t have the direct tool to fix it myself. I had bumped the towing package while parking, so the hardware piece around the around hitch was bent —my bike rack then couldn’t be removed. This is where Jeff stepped up—didn’t charge me either—and straightened out the hardware with the proper hammer. It was something so simple, but much appreciated. Now, my bike rack can be installed and removed without being trapped. Thank you so much for the help, Jeff! See you guys down the road…
