I called the shop and spoke with Seth and they were able to get me in the next day for a diagnosis. After finding out what the problem was, they gave me a price quote and had my car done the next day. The communication and also the friendliness of the staff were very professional. My diagnosis sheet also included pictures, which was very helpful for me. I would highly recommend the shop and this will be now my go to shop for automotive services/issues. 🙌🏽

I've previously used Ernie's for a diagnosis on an old car that we ultimately decided not to repair (needed a new engine) and they provided excellent service then. I decided to go to them again recently to diagnose another vehicle that wasn't performing well and they found a bad spark plug. They provided me a very reasonable quote and quick turnaround time in order to get my new driver back on the road before school started. I can't recommend Seth and team enough because of their transparency, professionalism, fairness and excellence. They have earned my trust so you should call them first with any automotive need you may have!

Ernie’s has rescued me a few times when I needed help with things I am no longer able to do myself or have the ability to complete. Very helpful and understanding with what I need done quickly and completely. Local business that has the integrity to treat customers fairly and honestly.

A sudden leak brought me to Ernie's after I looked at the reviews. I was more than happy with the entire experience. They were responsive, thorough, honest, and helpful. Pricing was fair and transparent. I had a great shop in the north end before my move, I'm grateful to find another amazing shop close to my new home!

Had my 90k service. I really like how detailed they are with checking everything for us and sending us the report with pictures. I feel they are very upfront and HONEST. I will be back with my vehicles if they need work.

They did a fantastic job and were very friendly and fast. I was told by a different shop I needed a bunch of things done to fix what was wrong with my car and they were able identify what was really wrong with it and fix it for a lot less, saving me a lot of money. My car works perfectly now. I am extremely satisfied with their work.

My axle and wheel broke off in the Walmart parking lot down the road in Bonney Lake; had my car towed here by AAA. I called to let them know and even by my phone call I was already put at ease with Travis who answered my call. I honestly can’t say enough about how great my experience was. Travis was so personable and communicative. My car was done in 1 day and when I returned to pick up both Travis and technician(didn’t get his name sadly) were absolutely amazing and just cool people to deal with. Highly recommend this place!

Great work at a fair price. They were able to get our vehicle in right away. Really appreciate the vehicle inspection report they send out. It was the first time we took our vehicle there based on a friend’s recommendation, certainly won’t be the last time we use them.

The shop got our vehicle in and repaired over a single (Holiday) weekend. They communicated everything really well, assessed and repaired exactly what was needed and made sure it was running well before our picking it up. Thank you!

Dealer suggested multiple repairs for a vehicle with lower mileage totaling over $4,000. Brought the vehicle to Ernie’s for a second opinion to confirm whether they were necessary. Travis was very straightforward and honest about the process and how they would check everything and even got me in within the hour I called. After 2 hrs they were able to determine the repairs called out by the dealer were not necessary and we came away with a much smaller bill and tightening of a seal. Overall the communication was excellent and never tried to push anything unnecessary. Ernie’s has a return customer for the future.

Ernie’s was quick and efficient! I loved the detailed report and pictures to show that everything was checked and what needed attention right now. Travis was great at communicating the next steps and there was no surprises.

Cleared code/check-engine light; replaced plugs and upper A-arm. Very satisfied with work done. Overall inspection was more thorough than other shops in area. Travis was straight with me about what needed to be done and what was a priority. Some of what he told me I already knew, so I know they actually checked and were honest about what they found, things like fluid condition etc. Some shops want you to change/replace components just because you have a ‘high-mileage’ vehicle and they want to follow a maintenance schedule no mattter they may have just serviced the item. Ernie’s may not be the least expensive shop but I’m leased with the results and will most likely be a repeat customer. Always beware of the ‘low bidder’ and always get a second opinion on expensive repairs.

Ed, We thought we could trust that our truck was going to come back better than it was after spending over $4,000.... unfortunately it didn't. It's louder, and rougher than before. Clay talked to you about it and we even brought it back and you guys said " we don't see the problem.... It's good" , when clearly it isn't. That was a huge disappointment, especially being old neighbors/ acquaintances. Personally I have always liked you but I'm not happy with our experience there, either is clay. We dropped alot of money and feel like we were shrugged off. Unfortunately we have accepted that nothing will be done about it, and we are out the money, but we are pretty convinced we got bad or old parts. I hope you guys keep the integrity from many years ago rather than the experience we had. My car was vibrating when driving, I went to Ernies Automotive, they were nice, warm and approachable. Even though I didn’t have an appointment, they took my car in with no promises. I got a loaner vehicle and drove off. I was smiling all the way, the loaner vehicle drives well and brings back sweet memories. The best parts were the responsive communication, professionalism and recommendations. Travis did a great job, he helped to get Seth out who gave me 10% discount. The diagnostic charge $200+ (tax included) is a bit high compared to other garages, but it’s worth every dollar. It gives me peace of mind seeing the diagnostic report and knowing the status.

These guys are awesome. I called Monday to see how quick they could get me in for my daughter's car and they had me in the next day and back out with a fixed up rig. I was worried that it was a major issue but it ended up being something really minor that they fixed quickly. I'll definitely be back as they do both good work quickly and appear to be honest shop. AAA tow worker recommend we take our car to Ernie’s to get a new battery. We walked in with no appointment and were greeted by Travis. He was very professional and personable to myself and my family. The waiting area was like being in a comfortable living room with reclining chairs. He gave us waters & changed the channel to something we wanted to watch. Travis gave a quick estimate which was super close to 3 other options we priced and theirs came with a great warranty. They seemed honest with no high pressure sales which I appreciated. We walked out in less than an hour with a very fair price! Car runs great! He even fixed our key fob for no charge. We were impressed and even spoke to another employee (I believe his name was Seth?) He was very helpful and personable. I will take my vehicle there next time we need something. Thanks for a great first visit experience!

Great customer service, friendly and great communication! Dropped my car off in the morning, they offer a car service to drop you off at home if you live close enough, and they were able to pick me up as well when my car was ready, the same day! Fixed my issue and sent a detailed report after diagnosing that was clear to understand and a good record to have. Would recommend them to any and everyone with car problems!

I recently moved to the Bonnie Lake area and needed to find a good mechanic. Decided to try out Ernie’s and I am very happy I did! These guys are awesome. They did a great job on my vehicle, everything was taken care of and is working great. I loved the report they sent me listing everything they found issues with which was really easy to read and understand. I will definitely be sticking with them in the future. I highly recommend them!

My husband researched online and recommended Ernie’s. Both of us have never been there before. I was able to easily schedule an appointment, Travis contacted me the very next day I had sent an email request. I was able to drop off my SUV the day before, which was very convenient for me. The goal of the service was to check my brakes. After a thorough review, I was provided a very detailed report via text with a link, with pictures, circling the areas of concern and recommendations and also areas that were still in good shape that did not have issues also with pictures. Also, the whole time i have had my SUV, there was always this loud noise, and every time I dropped it off at the dealership I was told there’s nothing wrong, my friend who drives my car when we do our road trips to Montana had noticed those loud noises as well, but again I could not have anyone diagnose the issue at the dealership. It was so validating and comforting to hear from Ernie’s that they found the issue and I didn’t even tell them about it, as i just thought it was part of the brand; but it was not, it was a bearing that needed replacement. Prices very reasonable. Job was completed same day. Both Husband and I will bring cars in forever moving forward.

Our car started overheating, so we checked the coolant and it was low. We get regular tune-ups and oil changes and watch our fluids, so this was somewhat of a surprise. After filling up on coolant a couple of times, we decided to take our car to Ernie's Automotive. We called on Friday and made an appointment for Monday. Within a couple hours of dropping our car off we had an email with pictures and diagnostics for our vehicle. By the end of the day, we had our car back with a new radiator and a price that was on the medium-low end of our pricing research. The service was fantastic. They're taking COVID-19 seriously too. They've cordoned off the main area and have signage to keep distances. Thanks for the great service, Ernie's Automotive.
