Cut Rate Auto parts has always been a great place to shop. The employees that work there are always helpful and on a lot of things they give great warranties.

I want to give a shout-out to the staff of the Shelton store. My alternator failed 3 miles out of town. They delivered me a new one so I could do a roadside repair. This not only saved my day but also saved me from having to call for a tow. Y'all Rock!! !

Went to several other parts places first and none of them even knew what I was talking about. Cut Rate, I told the guy what I needed and he walked right out onto the floor grabbed it and handed me exactly what I needed. Very pleased!

Great customer service. Knowledgeable staff that get you the right parts . Much better than the big O' stores.

Personable and friendly staff... most parts they order are made in the USA... I always check here first before going to eBay to order parts for my classic car rebuild. They haven't let me down yet.

Was in need of a battery and they came thru. Great customer service and great response time. I will definitely be calling them first for any and all future parts needed.

Not a fancy big box store but that is what is so great about it. During my quick in and out trip I noticed SO many things that the O'ther stores don't carry as far as automotive tools. I will absolutely be returning on a more leisurely visit, not just because of an emergency.

Almost every single time I shop this store I am welcomed and CS goes above and beyond information and help I need to find what I'm looking for. I've only had one not great experience and it wasn't terrible.. just not great. I'd encourage others to shop here as well.

My battery was dead and Matt was super helpful. He tested my charging system and then installed a new battery for me. He went above and beyond! Thank you Matt!

I took an alternator in here to get tested and was told it was not working properly so I bought a new one through them. Got home and installed and my car still wouldn’t start/run so I took it back without telling them I had just bought this alternator mere hours ago to get tested unsurprisingly the man told me the exact same number as the last one he tested. I told him him this one was just bought a couple hours ago and needed a replacement on them for free. Not sure if I actually got a different alternator or not but the alternator was never the problem. I spent over $100 on a new one for no reason because this man saw a woman in a parts store and took advantage. Similar situations have happened with family members and friends. I will never go back here.

I have lived in Shelton for five years and this business is first class. Knowledgeable people who hard work to solve problems. I have also found they stand behind their products and will refund the purchase price if the item is defective. Simply Awesome!

Boo this service. Asked for an AC recharge bottle other day. "Read the sign" said some gruff guy pointing towards the door. "What sign? What are you talking about" I asked "The black thing." Was the reply. By his attitude and lack of customer service I wasn't asking again. Took a minute to piece it all together, find the sign and read it. They are now illegal in Washington state is all I would've needed to hear instead of this run around.

They had what we were looking for and have a good variety of products in store. The staff were friendly and helpful, like them a lot.

, although they did not have what I needed in stock I love the way they treated me and went out of their way to give me what I need in a timely fashion excellent service friendly people I totally recommend them all the time

Always fast friendly service. Good prices. With 7 cars and racecars we are always in need of something and either they stock it or can have it the next morning.

A great place to head for, if you are in Shelton, or even nearby, and find yourself in need of auto parts; or if you are in the middle of a DIU job! Located right downtown a block over from Railroad Ave, and near the Post Office, this fully stocked parts store has what you need, or can get it quickly for you, and adheres to it's namesake- as cut rate parts. Staff is knowledgeable, nice and usually in a helpful, courteous manner; they can attend to whatever need you might have- from finding lug nuts for your wheels to ordering a crated engine for your latest hot rod project. If you know Shelton at all, you know it is a town full of classic and show cars; Cali is jealous of some of the mint condition show pieces here! When you need a specialized part for your project (don't forget to CHROME IT!!) you'll save a lot of hard earned cash here! A little music in the sale shop area would be nice, but for anything auto necessary for getting your ride back on the road again, or ready for the next car show, make sure to head to this store, and save time, frustration and your hard earned cash! Be sure to bring along your mask, and Be Safe, everyone!!

If you ever pass through a small town on Sunday night with everything shut down around 8pm and your car dies  (it is Toyota Rav, its not supposed die, yes who would ever believe at our age) and you have to pay over$80 for motel ( is like none start hotel ) you would think how are we going to get home. No fear,  CUT RATE AUTO PART is your savior, we got the car towed to the store, we bought the battery from them and they came out in the rain and installed for free, and we were able to get home. Great people and Great service,  THANK YOU very much for your help !!!

Nice and friendly staff very professional no waiting as soon as you get in the store they say hi and there's no waiting in line for anything there real quick and I enjoyed the stories very much so very hard to get held back just like they have provided usually there's lines in other stores as that such

I LOVE C.R.A.P. and the employees that have been there for years have REAL knowledge about vehicles... they CAN HELP YOU (beyond what their computer screens tell them like the 'help' you find anywhere else these days) any price difference is SO worth it ...if any!! Thanks for being AWESOME, guys!!

So for my birthday last August, my mother bought me these batteries from Cut Rate. These batteries were in my little mini that is bagged and is my weekend driver only. Since it's not my daily driver I stored it for the winter like I always do. This is my first of Optima batteries I've always heard that they are some of the best. But long story short my mother passed away a little over two months ago and I can't find the receipt. So I went back to C.RA.P to see if they would replace them, and they pretty much called me a liar. I told them that I didnt have the receipt and they were the ones who installed it for me. The guy behind the counter said that we dont install batteries here and that they won't replace them either.

Knowledgeable, nice, courteous, respectful folks. Quality products and fair and reasonable prices. Would absolutely choose this place over the generic big "chain" auto stores. Thankful that places like this still exist.

I purchased windshield wipers and an air filter. The young man found exactly what I needed and installed the wipers for me. The only thing that would have been better if he showed me how to take the filter cover off so I could change It!

Just left Shelton location from trying to return a hub assembly kit that I no longer have use for. I had cash receipt in hand but it had been over 30 days. So now I'm stuck with $100 of parts I don't need. And why can't they take them back? Still brand new. Box never even opened. They could resell it the same as the other items. Just annoying & dumb policy for an auto part store. I then offered the items to a friend who runs a mechanics shop. He wanted nothing to do with it. Says they only sell cheap garbage there and not to trust anything from cute rate to hold up very long on my vehicle. Scary thought.

Excellent Customer Service! Awesome Auto Parts Store!! TY for much for helping me May 30, 2017. My radiator blew, and I had to get home to Oregon. This store had a man patch my radiator with a kit I purchased from them. It was my 63rd birthday, & I made to my home in OR that day! TY Again so much!!
