This has been my go to shop for about a decade for working on all my 60's and 70's classics. Everyone is super helpful plus Dave and Todd are super knowledgeable.
Stopped in looking for a stainless steel sheet metal screw with a specific, coarse thread that I had been unable to locate at three hardware stores including one of the Big Huge Box stores. The gentleman at Napa searched and found exactly what I needed. Great customer service.
This location in downtown Issaquah goes above and beyond customer service. My cars oil indicator came on, and I drove over to their location. Dave one of the team members immediately confirmed that my car was down 1 quart and quickly filled up the oil in a matter of minutes. We’ve been to this location several times and the service is consistently wonderful.
I drive between Redmond and Maple valley often, and recently began to experience charging system issues on my truck. After installing a new battery from the Maple Valley store (5-star as well), a few days later found that my battery wasn't charging on my drive to Redmond. On the return trip, I knew I wouldn't make it back Home, so headed towards the Issaquah store. My engine died a block away, but my son and 2 bystanders pushed me into the parking lot.
Hats off to Dave , who correctly diagnosed a failed alternator. I didn't get the name of the woman who was working the counter with him, but she was super friendly. Unfortunately, they didn't have an alternator for my truck in stock, but Dave put my battery on a fast charger so I could make it back home.
I'll spare you the drama, but yes, the old alternator was toast, and 3 days after installing the new one from the Maple Valley store, on my way from Redmond to Cle Elum, my battery stopped charging again! So I made a bee-line for the Issaquah store, where Bob and Todd helped me out by charging my battery AGAIN, and Todd gave me his opinion that it was a result of a bad voltage regulator, which unfortunately is in the Engine management computer. He made some excellent suggestions as solutions, which I have followed. I opted for a new PCM. I highly recommend this store.
I went to Napa to grab some spark plugs and tried swapping them out in the lot. Unfortunately, I had the wrong socket size and got it stuck in one of the cylinders. Both Ashley and William were kind enough to help me figure out a solution! William spent a lot of time inspecting the car and Ashley helped me find the right parts to get the socket out. They definitely helped spare me a lot of grief. I’ll definitely be back to Napa where I can trust I’m taken care of 👌
Stopped in to see if I could dumpster dive for a cardboard box. This shop employs the friendliest employees in the world. They helped me find a box and then some. I'll be coming back when I need auto parts!
I came in for help with a “broken” windshield wiper. Dave is great! He came out, figured out the problem, and fixed it free of charge. The help, honesty, and service was 5⭐️!
I went in on Monday Dec 18th in a panic because I had my windshield wiper fly off while driving in the rain. I had my 2 grandkids in the car sleeping and had to be at her dance class in 40 minutes. I had no idea how to change the wiper and they were so nice and promptly help me find the wiper, install and sent me on my way and I made in time to the class. Both employees were so nice and helpful. However, every time I’ve been in that Napa store they have always been friendly and helpful. I couldn't thank them enough for their help.

I’ve always loved going to NAPA because they’re dependable. This review is specifically for whoever was working Wed 11/8/23. A friend had a really terrible experience with their car breaking down on them while on the road, while needing to do a huge presentation at a university for volunteer work that day, and needing to go to work right after. It’s been a mess. But this friend is kind and always treats people with respect. They called asking for help because the parts they were trying to order needed you to select the specific type of engine.
In short, the representative was rude, beyond unhelpful and made a stressful situation worse.
I’m a novice when it comes to these things, but I was able to figure out the information my friend needed. No training, no experience working in an auto parts shop. Telling my friend to just bring the car in (which is unsafe to drive and why they are trying to order parts) and hanging up on them was unacceptable. I see there are a lot of reviews about the poor customer service. It makes me sad that people looking at ratings see this place has 4+ stars and decide to come in, only to be treated poorly.
I’ve worked in community and customer service my whole life. I’ve had money thrown at me by entitled customers who were upset about things outside of me and nothing to do with their store experience (where I worked for minimum wage and no benefits)… and yet I have NEVER treated anyone unkindly despite these interactions. It makes me upset when people who are supposed to be there to help you, just don’t.
Stopped in to ask about my blinkers not working,was asked if I checked the blinker fluid... really that was stupid... found it VERY RUDE for them to ask me that,was told it could be a few things and was told I would need a diagnosis test to find out for sure, NEVER told me where to go for that, I'll never be back there again,my daddy was a 45 year customer and he always recommended Napa... hahaha he would have been down there in a heartbeat asking why they asked me what they asked me, you are there to help people...not crack jokes!!!
Two stars because the staff was nice. But I would never recommend anyone come here for car parts. O'Reilly is just down the street and had amazing service and staff and free engine code reads. I tried to get an engine code read at Napa so I could confirm a suspected issue on my car. Was ready to buy all the parts I needed that day to make the repair but it's "Store Policy" that they do not read codes. Lost my business 100%. Why waste time at a parts store that has no interest in making a sale or helping you get back on the road. Maybe they should try selling hamburgers? But o'reilly had great prices on coils and really knowledgeable staff.
I was about 5 hours from home and ended up with a faulty coil. Called in to verify a couple options were in stock on a Friday afternoon and asked the gentleman to hold them for me on Sunday when I would be through. He was happy to and I was taken care of. Thanks again!
Great old-school place with knowledgeable people to help you. They carry Napa Gold oil filters which are the best you can get. But their prices are higher than other places.
The guy was so rude to me when I asked for help regarding checking a fuse in my horn. To the point of telling me that's a mechanics job and a liability for the company. Not one cuisine in the entire place but be couldn't take the time to help me and was rude about it. NOW THE LADY THERE JUMPED UP TO HELP ME AND WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND HER JOB DUTIES. WAS VERY HELPFUL AND NICE. ONLY REASON I'LL EVER GO BACK IS BECAUSE OF THIS WOMAN. I THINK HER NAME WAS RHONDA. SHE DESERVES A RAISE.
Came in to get a bad battery checked and to see if I could get it replaced through the warranty. Employee Ronda was very helpful, sorted things out and was able to give me a replacement battery. Car starts up great now. Thanks!
Unfortunately the days of NAPA having the best auto parts customer service may be gone. Bought a tool at another NAPA store, tried to return it to this store and the older guy at the counter refused to take it back even with receipt and the tool packaging and everything undamaged. “I can’t resell it in this condition” with hardly noticeable marks and was told to call Carlyle tools to get a refund. Took the tool to another store 20 minutes away and they were happy to help and got my refund no questions asked.
Been shopping here for maybe 40 years. It's the real deal, knowledgeable staff, loaded with parts and supplies for cars and trucks and even stuff for my farm tractors and dozers. It's not so much about fru fru as some other auto parts stores, but you can get stuff to wash and wax with here, too.
The team at the parts counter are excellent. They have a wealth of knowledge and are happy to take time to provide the minor but significant details on specific parts. Napa also gets most parts not in store the next morning and is always good to call when it arrives.
Had a battery issue and I showed up here around 9am on a Sunday. The associate was super helpful, came out and tested my battery, found to be a bad cell. I was in the process of buying a new battery but they don't do installs, so I called Firestone to see if they would install it. Firestone wouldn't install Napa's battery and had no appointments until Wednesday. Firestone was also super noncommittal about being able to take 15 minutes to install the battery if I bought one from them. The older gentleman Napa associate said let me take a look. He took the time to check it out and then installed the battery for me. I was overly impressed with how helpful the folks in this store were and I would recommend anyone to use their services!
I cannot say enough about NAPA, I am very satisfied with the customer service at the Issaquah and Bellevue stores, Bob in Issaquah and Marcos in Bellevue gave exceptional service, being that I’m a lady who does not get her hands dirty lol I find everyone is always willing to help troubleshoot windshield wipers, or assist with adding oil, etc, this is why I always come back when I need minor car accessories. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!
I went and bought my battery here very happy with the price no troubles there. However, when I didn't have the correct tools to change my battery they told me they don't change batteries at this store. However on NAPA's website they mention they will change the battery at a NAPA autocare center. Implying they will change it at any NAPA. So I am returning my battery and going to o Reilly's. Might cost me a few more dollars but at least they are going to stick to their company's word and change my battery for me as a complimentary service. It's not even that hard to do. I just don't have the right tools. Also Bob the person who helped me did not seem the least bit concerned he was loosing my business. Did not even ask me why I was returning the battery. Really shoddy customer service if you ask me.
These guys are great, came in there looking for replacement bulbs for my classic car (wasn't sure that they even needed to be replaced) and I called n advance to see if they had any instock. They did and when I came in, Todd (?) had printed out a wiring schematic for me as well as a diagram of the fuse box to help guide me on how to remove "just in case". Super knowledgeable and I will definitely go her in the future.
Had a great experience at NAPA . I lost my wipers at the car wash. I felt like a loser. Jeff helped me out, he installed my new ones & taught me how to take them on & off. As a Older citizen, I am not used to that attention. Thanks Jeff.
When my girlfriend's car wouldn't start an hour away from our house, not only did the NAPA staff help us verify that the problen was the battery and find us a new battery, they swapped out the batteries for us in the time it took to pay. NAPA truly went above and beyond and I can't speak highly enough of their service. It is clear to see that customer service is their priority!
