I’ve been getting my oil changed here since last year and noticed a new team member this year. Huge thanks to Jay for patiently answering all my questions and explaining everything so clearly. Thanks to him, a lot of my doubts were cleared. Price was reasonable, and service is great!

I recently brought my Honda in for a full fluid change, including a complete CVT transmission service, and they also took care of an issue with my taillights that had been out. They were professional, knowledgeable, and efficient throughout the entire process. My car runs smoother than ever, and the transmission feels like new again, which gives me a lot of peace of mind. They also inspected my brake pads, checked and adjusted tire pressure, and completed a tire rotation, which I really appreciated. Communication was clear, the work was done right the first time, and everything was completed in a timely manner. I’m extremely satisfied with the service and would highly recommend this shop to anyone in the Issaquah area looking for reliable auto repair and maintenance!

Kim and Jay are both wonderful. My family and I have been customers for over ten years and have never had any issues. Service is always excellent and timely. Jay is a great new addition to this business. He is very friendly, knowledgeable, and honest. I would highly recommend them both.

I took my car to Kim’s Auto based on a friend’s recommendation that they were very professional. They were able to diagnose the issues with my 13 year old car quickly. Based on their inspection and honest advice, I took my car to the car dealer who submitted the requirements for Kia to replace my engine under warranty, saving me thousands of dollars.

Top notch experience, had AC cooling issues. Diagnosed the problem within 30 minutes and I was out the door without an appointment!

Brought my Daughter's car for service, needed a new alternator. The shop had us all taken care of by the end of the day. Price was fair, service was great. The tech went the extra mile to investigate a unrelated issue. It is great when you find a auto tech that you can trust, this is one of them.

I recently heard about Kim's and thought I would give them a try. I was amazed at the knowledge and pride they take in helping a customer as soon as possible. Later I went in just to have something checked - they immediately went to the car and found the issue and fixed it - at no charge. Best place in town for expertise, price and friendly attitudes.

I had a very disappointing experience at this service center. My car was towed in, and without conducting any proper diagnostics, the technician immediately recommended replacing the battery—even though I explained it was brand new. He later said the alternator needed to be replaced as well. I was charged $50 just to get my old alternator back, and the total bill came to $650. In the end, I believe none of these replacements were necessary to resolve the issue. I only went ahead with the service because I was in an emergency and needed my car fixed urgently. I do not recommend this place based on my experience.

Quoted me over $650 before tax for installation of rotors and pads on all 4 corners and i was charged just under $600 after tax when the job was done

I’m making this my regular mechanic from now on because this man fr hooked me up. Low labor rate, super quick service, very honest and sweet. Got like 5 things done in one afternoon for like 1/3rd the price of another place I go to.

down to earth mechanic style - fast service and good price. My car had a few major issues. He fixed them while I standing there watching. I really don't care about free coffee or complimentary car as long as the job gets done and I don't need a second trip to pickup!

What a wonderful mechanic. He is super quick both diagnosing and fixing my engine issue. He was honest and charged me a reasonable amount. He will be the mechanic that I go back to moving forward.

I got stranded on the highway after my car broke down. The tow guys recommended Import Auto Care and I’m SO glad they did!! Mr. Kim fixed up my car same day for a SUPER affordable price! I’m back on the road and my car’s running like butter. He’s truly a miracle worker!

I had a couple of issues with a Toyota yaris, thought it would take a few days and maybe up to 1k according to estimates from other places. He just went ahead fixing them all within half an hour, charging less than $100+tax. He is a man of integrity.

honest, fair price, and highly skilled. that's how i'd describe Mr.Kim. He will always be honest with you as to what's going on with your car and what needs to be immediately fixed and what can 'wait'. he will work with you! No crazy upselling, no crazy up-charging. I've always been the guy do my own maintenance after getting burnt by an auto shop in Lynnwood over 10 years ago (Bucky's :D ) buttt, that's slowly starting to change. I think i'll come to Mr.Kim whenever i run into issue with my car. he's super busy, so call ahead! and make sure to have your license plate number ready for a quick/swift estimate!

BMW dealer estimated 4k on my X5 leaking oil. He fixed for less than $500 Honest, honest, honest…., I became a regular here, alway done in same day. This is one man shop.., Very busy, so call ahead!!!

Mr. Kim is awesome! He diagnosed my car's issue on the spot, reset a faulty sensor and gave me a quote in case the sensor needed to be replaced. Reasonable price and I was in and out in 25 minutes!

I highly recommend this shop to ANYONE! He is quick and goes out of his way to help people. Due to extenuating circumstances, this man had my car for 7 months and every single night my car was locked safe and sound in his garage. Not to mention he has the best prices in town. I got three estimates before I decided to take my car to him and he was 25% cheaper than my second estimate and half the price for my third!!! Mr. Kim is a real person who works with real people...no corporate BS. I'm very grateful for his services.

Mr. Kim is the one of the honest mechanic. He called me back even though his shop closed. I always go to his shop when my car needs maintenance.

I have taken all of my cars in the past 10 years to Issaquah Kim's. BMW, Audi, Porsche and Toyota. The owner Paul has integrity, is honest and does great work. When I have considered buying a used car in the past, he inspected it for free.. declining payment when I offered. You would be hard pressed to find more reasonable prices elsewhere, and the quality of work does not suffer. Can not recommend more!

The owner/mechanic is an honest guy who tells you upfront what issues your car has, and his price is very reasonable. He has done a great job in taking care of not only my car, but my other family members, and friends as well. I would recommend him without any hesitation.

This place overcharged the service much more than it should be. Dealer only charged $299 for the service, but this place charged $500. Don't recommend to other customers and be careful for the quote he gave.

It's a little out of the way from where I live, but our family has taken our cars to this shop for quite some years now. The owner is honest and sincere with his work. Great place to take your vehicle if there's anything wrong with it, even if it's to get a quote for comparison.

Our family has been taking all of our cars to this shop for years. Mr. Kim's rates and parts prices are very reasonable, even for 'luxury' cars. Estimates are on the money. He never does any work he doesn't feel is necessary and has actually fixed/cleaned a couple of parts himself rather than ordering a completely new one to save us money. If you're curious about what work he did or what the problem was, he'll take the time to explain and show you. Highly recommend him.

I haven't been there personally, but my wife had been there twice; first with a flat tire and second with overheated engine. She told me that the technician, maybe the owner of the shop, patched the tire very quickly, although he was very busy working other cars. When she had engine overheated, this is brand new car 2016 Acura, she stop there and the technician trace the problem quickly and fixed it. This prevented further damage to the car. Of course, she could have call Acura, but the time was not on her side. After this incident, she took her car to the Acura dealer for further investigation and troubleshooting, but they found absolutely no problem with the engine. They reimbursed the cost she spend it on this shop, which was just one hour labor charge. She told me the technician seemed very sincere and honest.

This is a small repair shop around a little hidden corner and fully operated by one mechanic. I believe not many people will be inclined to stepping in at the first look. However, this place is a hidden jewel and this is the best and most honest auto repair shop that I've ever experienced after owning multiple cars with my 20 years of driving. On one morning, I came out of Gold's Gym at Issaquah and turned on my car and started driving. I felt an odd shake and the car made a weird noise when I turned to the left. Luckily, Kim's auto is located a couple of minutes away so I drove to this place. The mechanic let me drive the car while he was in the passenger seat and felt the symptom and fixed the problem by just adding the steering wheel oil and he didn't charge me anything. My car still runs without the same problem after a few months. On another time, I started seeing an ABS error sign. I brought my car to the mechanic and he disassembled the brake parts and found some broken gear tips inside the wheel box. He ordered a new part and asked for a few hours to complete the fix. Eventually, he didn't use the new part but fixed the part himself and saved my money and he returned the new part. The mechanic and owner really thinks in the customer's shoes and I could feel it because he treated me as such even if he didn't have any friendship with me. I don't think he even remembers my name but I will be going this place as long as it exists.
