They did an excellent job resurfacing my V8 heads. Very professional and polite people. I appreciate how they payed close attention to all the details and certain preferences I had mentioned. Very satisfied with the results.
Phil and sherwin did an amazing job with my Honda s2000 engine block and cylinder head. Kept me updated on the progress. This is the best machine shop to go to, without a doubt. There’s a reason why dealerships use their service. Phil and sherwin are good people.
Had Phil rebuild my oem heads from our 1957 corvette. Heads sound and perform perfectly. I have had many sets rebuilt in the past but these heads are the smoothest running heads I have had rebuilt.

Phil is one of the most knowledgeable machinists I’ve talked with , I have talked to a few of shops in the area and he’s definitely running one of best shops. I brought in my crankshaft and he did an amazing job. He goes above and beyond to communicate with his customers, if I could give 10 stars I would I will continue to bring my machining work to him and will recommend him to anyone in the future.
Phil was very upfront and honest about all the work from the very start. Need the heads on my 3.0L V6 2003 ford Ranger re surfaced. He gave me a very good quote, and then set very clear expectations on the work, time frame, and extended quotes for any other issues that might come up during the process. There were quite a few things discovered that needed to be addressed, and Phil was very direct about my options. Not once did he push me to do anything and entirely left the decisions on how to proceed up to me. The costs were very reasonable, and after researching 5 other shops, I have no doubt that I made the right choice letting Phil do what he does best.
Had a cylinder head resurfaced in 2020 had a engine block decked 6thousands and bored 1mm over on my engine block .. in 2021. Both engines have been broken in over 1500miles , going back to the shop soon for another engine bored over .
I had two really stuck axle nuts on some spindles and I walked in and they got them off for me in less than 5 minutes and hardly charged me anything. A+ I will definitely be back when I have other needs on my projects

Complete head rebuild turnaround was about 2 weeks which is pretty quick all things considered.
Update:
Would like to note that Phil means what he says when he says "I treat everyone who walks in that door like they're my neighbor". There was a mistake made in my valve grind and he was nice enough to come out and double check my measurements, and then paid for any wasted parts to make things right.

Super friendly and knowledgeable. Called to ask about buying parts to fix a stripped out bolt hole. Phile gave some so really good advice on how to repair it, let me put down a deposit to borrow it repair kit and refunded the deposit (minus parts used). Would definitely recommend doing business with and I will be going back for any future machining work I need done!
The staff might be the most knowledgeable group of guys I've ever met. More years in experience then I'm years old, 10/10 would recommend but hurry because they are very busy.
Very friendly and helpful. I had a broken bolt in anti-sway bar arm and they were able to remove it for me very quickly. I'll definitely use them again for any machine work I need.

This is the best place hands down for people who like to work on their cars themselves as for seeking help for parts and what not. All the guys there treat every single customer with an awesome attitude and I can't tell you how many times I've been in there for help and they took a lot of their time to seek out parts for me. The machinist downstairs is the real deal. This guy gave me my engine back in beautiful condition and for a fair price. They're products may be a bit more but I would much rather support the local business.
Highlands East Auto Parts shop is awesome. Extensive knowledge and they can order from anyone. If you can't find it at the big auto part chains switch your business over to these guys. It's always a + when you go to a parts store that has MANN filters on hand. You better come here for your auto part needs!
