John is a true wizard. I had a rusted on bolt that I had worked on for days with penetrating oil, brute force, and cursing. With John's help and knowledge of alchemy, we soon had the bolt off without damaging anything. When I thanked him he said "I was put on this earth to help people". Best service I've ever gotten at an auto parts store.

I have stopped here twice to get my engine checked since the check engine light came on. Both times workers were extremely helpful and friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

The O'Reilly Fairlawn team saw my car electronics go haywire at the intersection. They helped push me into their parking lot to wait for a tow. When Elite Towing showed up, he suggested switching out battery. Cody and John got it switched out, checked the system and gave me all clear. Earlier, the new tester had said battery was good. Which is what the Shelor dealership had been telling me for six months. When in doubt at 4 years, switch your battery out. Thankful I broke down in such a caring location

These guys are incredible! They were super helpful when I had to replace the thermostat in my truck. And, while I was in the parking lot replacing said thermostat, an employee came out and offered for me to borrow his jacket! It was extremely cold that day and I was under prepared to say the least. I'm so grateful I chose O'Reilly Auto Parts in Fairlawn when I needed parts!

Came into the store at 4:30 to get my wife a battery. Clerk started shaking his head as I was explaining what I needed and then told me 'these are really expensive (battery). Walmart has them much cheaper AND they will install it for free. You should go to Walmart. I went immediately to Auto Zone and will be giving them an appropriate revue soon. Get in the Zone, O'Reilly's.

really appreciate all the great people that work at this location! always willing to share knowledge and personal experiences to assist with various repairs! i have made 300,000 miles with no (major) issues in one vehicle and am getting close to 200k in my other. in addition to my "fleet" i often help my friends with their automotive issues. we always come to RADFORD O'REILLYs and get things right. THANKS GUYS!

Went in there to get a charge and start test done (checks the starter and alternator integrity). I'll say that I wasn't fully there yesterday and wasn't asking the right questions- but the older guy with the red nose just made me feel more stupid than I already did asking questions. I haven't felt like that since I've been to O'Reillys, nor have I felt like that with the other associates in the store. I won't be coming to him for advice or to look for parts. MARK is probably the most helpful and patient one there.

The employees and manager at this store have no product knowledge at all. They offered to sell me a product that they did not know what it did. And would not give a return if it didn't do what they said it would do. But promise me that it would work. The manager's name is Tony, And the employee Was Austin. Don't look to them for advice. You might wind up buying blinker fluids. Ask Them for 710 cap it'll blow their mind. - The district manager's number is fake. Or Tony gave me a fake number.

BIG SHOUT OUT TO MARK!! I came in to check my alternator because a shop had told me I had to change it. I obviously called my buddy who owns a mechanic shop and told him my situation. He advised me to go to O'reilly to get it checked out. My battery kept dying after changing it twice within the past 6 months, so something was up. We all know how hard it is to find an "Honest Mechanic" -- I was helped by Mark and he was very friendly, informative, & helpful. He ran all the tests that applicable to my situation. Turns out my alternator, battery, AND starter are all in good condition. We came to the conclusion that it could be my glove box that sticks out if I don't close it properly. There is a light bulb in there that might be draining the battery if I don't close it properly. Mark didn't sell me something I didn't need and is a very friendly. honest, and heartfelt gentleman. He knew the position I was coming from -- being young, not knowing about cars, and looking for help. I had a GREAT Conversation with Mark throughout the whole process. I trust Mark more than the mechanic I've been going to around here. Thanks again Mark!!

It’s a clean location, and usually I don’t care if customer service doesn’t happen at a car parts store, but the employees seemed to just be there to talk to each other. If I didn’t know much about car parts, I’d feel like I was being ignored.

One employee really stuck out to me (Travis.) He was motivated and very knowledgeable about everything I asked. I have seen him even standing out in the rain, putting windshield wipers on and installing new batteries.

The one in Radford is on point.. not so much at Christiansburg.. young guy can't even change windshield wipers... Always talking to other young people they know while I stand in line waiting for him to stop flapping his lips. Or standing around talking politics or about how fast he made it to work. Some of us have a job to do. We are not just going in to pick up a part for the family station wagon lol.. I go in a lot but have been traveling the extra miles to make it to Radford where the employees are right on the ball asking how can I help you today.. friendly willing to lend a helping hand. And I see you Radford watching people like a hawk lol. On the ball for sure!

They do good there. My only problem now is that I can order a part from rock auto say for $50, but at o'Reilly's I'll pay $100. Sometimes I can wait on rock auto but today I couldn't. I just hate the price difference. If local would come down on their prices, I'd buy more local!

Great place for parts. Mike runs a good store, and does a great job taking care of customers. Austin is knowledgeable and great at his job. Conner and Grayson have helped me a lot. With a professional mechanic in the family who can go anywhere for parts this is our first stop.

Greyson and Preston were super helpful! Greyson especially - he checked fuses for me since I didn't know how, realized all were okay, and figured out the cigarette lighter port contacts were just blocked from a spill, and knew how to fix it.

The employees are incredibly helpful. They took the battery out if my honda to replace a headlight because of space issues. They pulled it out and put it all back 2 more times, only to find out that the bulbs weren't the problem, the connector was. I hate working on cars, but these guys made the process less of a hassle. Good for small fixes but they can't make your car any less of a pain in the tail pipe.

We needed a lawnmower belt, hubby phoned around 1-2pm, and was told the belt would be waiting. I arrived at 7pm. No belt waiting. An older gentleman said you have to bring in old belt to have it measured. I said that we'd already called. A younger guy stepped up and said he remembered the call and that's what he told the guy. So, I called the hubby. He said that he'd given the "younger sounding guy" the belt number and was told it would be around $37 something. Walked back in with part number... And relayed message. The older guy said he'd look it up and maybe it was someone on day shift, the younger guy had a bit of an attitude saying he talked to my hubby and recalls what was said...blah blah. Long story to the point--my husband was right and they were wrong, particularly the younger guy. I don't know if he was trying to save face because he didn't pull the part it what the problem was. I prefer dealing with the Oreily store in Dublin, after this. I stayed smiling and joking. I don't let minor things like this ruin my day but I won't forget them and will not use such businesses again. 2⭐ for Staff. 3⭐ b/c I walked out with a needed part.
