Tonight I went to this store and purchased oil for my car. I was given the wrong oil, so about three hours later I returned with my receipt to make a return. The manager, whose name is Davis, avoided helping me and assisted other customers who came after me. Another employee eventually helped me instead. When the return was processed, their system would not accept the same card I originally paid with. The manager then stepped in and was extremely rude, repeatedly telling me, “Ma’am, use the same card,” and accusing me of not listening, even though I was using the same card. He told me to call my bank, which I did, and the bank confirmed everything was fine. The bank customer service representative could even hear how rude and disrespectful he was being. They then moved me to a different register (their decision, not mine) and tried again, but the system still didn’t work. At that point, the manager started blaming me for the issue, questioning why I moved registers, even though the employees were the ones who moved me and rescanned my items. The entire time he was rude, dismissive, and not listening. What really stood out was that when he called the store’s customer service line, his tone completely changed—he suddenly became polite and professional. This manager does not deserve to be in a management position. Yelling at customers and blaming them for system issues is unacceptable. This experience was stressful and disappointing.

They had parts that their competitors didn’t which was great. Staff is helpful and somewhat knowledgeable. I like this location as it is close to my house and in a good area.

Laan Jacob did a fantastic job helping us sort out paints on materials and was kind enough to help us for over an hour on finding what we need fantastic service if I had a chance to give 10 stars, I would great staff

Went in to purchase An item that was going to be a repurposing for a non automotive application. Jeffrey knew the store so well, he took me right to where we needed to go! He found the exact attachment part I needed ! GREAT JOB JEFFREY!

Honestly the service is absolutely abysmal these days. I've been going to this AutoZone for years and watched the service deteriorate. As of late, I've been treated quite poorly, disrespected, and everyone seems to be inconvenienced by you entering the store. In addition to this treatment, I've received poor advice by employees on numerous occasions which really pisses me off these days. As someone who's worked on cars for years, I would never do the things they've *advised* me to do since I actually care about my vehicle. So all-in-all save yourself the headache and just go down the street to advanced auto, and if that doesn't work go to the AutoZone in Chantilly. Don't waste your time here

I am so impressed with the staff at this store. They helped me install my windshield wipers and did my fluid for me. Since I have no knowledge on how to do that kind of thing I really appreciate it!

I don’t know where they get these managers from, but their attitude is unacceptable. I witnessed a manager speak very rudely to an employee who was simply asking for help, and this was done in front of a line of customers. It was uncomfortable to watch. Please do better. To add to the issue, every time I come in it seems to be the same problem with management. I also remember a few months ago there was a manager named John who was very rude as well. The regular employees, however, are always kind and helpful.

Just went AutoZone. A young gentelmen just helped find and replace my windshield wipers. He was extremely helpful! I will definitely go to this AutoZone for all my future car needs.

I had an excellent experience at AutoZone! The staff were very friendly and helpful. They not only helped me choose the right battery for my car, but they also installed it for me quickly and professionally. The store was clean and well organized, and the customer service was amazing. I really appreciate their support—AutoZone is now my go-to place for car parts and service. Highly recommended!

Markus was extremely helpful and professional! He helped me jump-start my car, checked the oil and radiator water, and even topped up the oil when he noticed it was low. He was very kind and worked efficiently. The other employee was also friendly and supportive. Thank you both so much for your excellent service!

I was returning a starter from Ford F-150, and unfortunately when they asked me for my credit card, i said I'm sorry i don't have this card any more because i got scam and Capital One send me a new one, and then this wonderful guys Markus, and Brandon S make the magic, and said we got you brother and resolve the inconvenience with my return, thank you so much Markus, and Brandon for the great service, y recommend those 2 guys 100%, im so happy with this service today, continue to do so you guys put Auto zone in # 1 for the great costumer service, thank yo, thank yo again, and God bless you guys.

I came into the Ashburn location to purchase I frame for my license plate. I was greeted with a hello from 3 people standing up front and then after a couple mins, if that, Jeff came up to me and asked if I needed help. I’m so happy and feel super lucky to have met him today. He came outside to looked at my bumper and we then came up with a plan on what to get that would be best for covering the original plate holes. In less than 5 mins he had the frame on my bumper and he made sure to match the screws with the frame. I couldnt have asked for better service than what I was given today. Thank you Jeff for all the help and time you took with me! I’ll for sure be coming back and know I now have someone I can rely on for whatever car situation I’ll need help with!

I never do this but this time is needed, went today September 2nd to return something around 4:30 pm. A really nice young black guy was helping me out, I can tell he is new or with some sort of disability, (if I’m incorrect I apologize) he need some extra help which is totally fine, we are all learning, then the “manager” showed up, a black guy with glasses on, he was so disrespectful towards this kid and to myself, being condescend and judgy, he keeps turning back the screen and yelling at him telling him stop turning the screen and snapping it from the young guy, he is visibly embarrassed and uncomfortable by the whole encounter. I don’t mind the whole interaction towards me but towards the kid is upsetting and unacceptable, not okay from someone that is in charge of customer service. I went into my car and as I was leaving the young man came out to dump some trash, I went over and make sure he was okay and I let him know that nobody should talk to him in that way and that I appreciated his help. I been coming for years to the store and nothing never happened till today.I really hope this gets the attention it needs ASAP.

Outstanding Customer Service – Thank You Jeff and Brandon! I visited this location on May 20 to pick up a few supplies for my car, with a head full of questions and very little knowledge about automobiles. From the moment I approached the counter, I was met with incredibly fast, respectful, and professional service. Jeff and Brandon were absolutely outstanding. Their kindness, patience, and willingness to help were truly remarkable. They answered every one of my questions with clarity and never made me feel uncomfortable for not knowing much about cars. They took the time to explain everything in detail and made sure I left not only with the right supplies, but also with confidence and peace of mind. It's rare to find customer service like this. Jeff and Brandon went above and beyond, and I’m genuinely grateful for the help they provided. They were my heroes that day! Thank you both for making my experience such a positive one. Keep up the amazing work! Will definitely recommend this location to anyone who wants to visit AutoZone!
