They spent the time to give me advice on a lifted truck and even come out and look at it and price tires for me. We weren’t able to do business because of timing but I real appreciate their willingness to help when it was no benefit to them!
After knowing we were from out of state and had broken down on a road trip, the shop promised our car would be done by noon that Monday. We had to rent a car to get where we needed to go and back home in that time (which is fine). But they knew we were coming from Alabama to pick up the car that Monday. And they waited until TWO HOURS before they told us we could pick it up to tell us that they refused to work on our car due to rust.
Let me be clear. Refusing to work on our car was incredibly inconvenient, but definitely NOT the problem. The problem was the lack of communication with us, knowing that we were coming from Alabama to pick up the car. Had they told us ahead of time, we could have planned accordingly.
Instead, I had to PUSH my vehicle off their property because of insurance liability (with no offer of help from them, I might add), call friends from the area to scavenge tools, and change my own fuel pump in the parking lot of the pizza joint next door (wonderful people and great food, btw) in 106 degree weather.
I absolutely will NEVER go this shop for anything again simply for the lack of communication and common human decency. And I've encouraged my friends in the area to frequent other mechanics as well.

Very poor service. And to think I referred so many people here, never again. I had an alignment done less than 5,000 miles of highway driving after the wheel keeps getting MORE crooked. They would not stand by it they wanted me to pay for an entire alignment again after they overcharged me for the first alignment with it being a 1500 Suburban and then charge me for a 3/4 ton truck. Not at all the same they can get that over on someone that doesn't know vehicles. They tried to justify it by saying it took them a little bit longer than expected to do the alignment that's not my fault. Also whatever took you a little bit longer you didn't do a very good job. Find yourself a better shop that actually stands by their work and prices.
We had our car break down on a trip to JMU for our daughter’s graduation. We decided to take it to Taylor’s, and we are so glad we did. It would have been easy for some shops to take advantage of that type of situation. However, David was super honest. It was a quick and easy fix when I was expecting the worst case scenario. Good, honest shops are hard to find, but this is definitely one of them. I highly recommend Taylor’s.
##Update## On top of grear service I was elated to know that on Fridays you can schedule an appointment. I brought my truck in for inspection and was on my way in 25 min. I've been going to Taylor's for years with great success. Since Dave started managing you can see how their business has grow. They have always been fair and work with me in emergencies but always doing what is necessary never trying to upcharge me. They are up front with what they can do and have enough loyal customers that they can focus on doing the right thing. Unlike other places that try to gouge you. I will definitely continue taking my vehicles there.
People wait outside in the mornings for a reason. It's the people and quality of work they provide that makes it worth the time, I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so.
Never been here before and looking for a good place to take my car in for an inspection after my normal spot was closed after it was sold. I arrived there first thing in the morning without an appointment and I was pleasantly amazed on how fast they got me in. Inspection was nice and quick and I was out of there in no time unlike some other places that I have been to in the past ( last place I went to took me over 2 hours even with an appointment ). Also the guys up front are very nice and professional and answer any questions that you ask them. This place is now going to be my only spot to have all 4 of my cars inspected.
Great service. Need to go early when they open because they don't always take appointments. But very professional and timely with there service. The prices are comparable and I don't leave with that fear of I've been jipped.
Had the nerve to charge me an additional $150 to "diagnose" a problem that they had already told me was an issue, and to make matters worse, THEY WE'RE WRONG. I replaced the part that they "diagnosed" as the problem, and it turns out that wasn't even the issue. These guys are a bunch of crooks.
Avoid this place. I left my car there overnight. Had my catalytic converter stolen from their lot and they refused to do anything for me. On my own. It’s happened to several other customers and they’ve taken zero security measures. Makes you wonder.
Your response is laughable. You’re an auto shop, but you’re not responsible for the cars left in your care? Sounds like your business is uninsured.
I had a tire blow out on my camper. I ended up having them change out all 4 tire. Customer service, price was excellent. It was a pleasure doing business with them.
I live almost an hour away from Taylor’s Auto Shop now but will absolutely never take any of our cars anywhere else. They are hands-down the best in service and integrity.
I've been a customer since 2012 when we move to the area. I love that it is Family-friendly ❤. It is a full auto service center. I recommend them to everyone I know & anyone I hear needs auto service.
Well run this shop full of good people who are professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. They will advise on all processes they think necessary and options on how to go about it, from tire replacement to vehicle repairs. Never been dissatisfied with pricing, work, or speed. Highly recommend if you need a mechanic in the area to go here.
Well-run auto shop. They have great, friendly service. My only complaint is that their prices are a little on the high side, but I will still go there as I know my car will be serviced well.

This was my first visit as I have just moved to the area. Got a call for major repairs to pass inspection . I declined and took it 45 minutes away back to a familiar shop. Got a call when my car was ready. Did NOT mention anything about my visit to Taylors..
$20 and it passed inspection.

Every time I've had work done here everyone there has been immensely friendly, knowledgeable, and honest, which is super appreciated. I've never had to wait long for the work to get done, and they're upfront about what your vehicle needs without trying to tack on extra charges or things you don't need. Would absolutely recommend, it's worth the trip to get some quality work done.
David is a great mechanic and has a crew of great mechanics. Honest, fast, courteous and thorough repairs are always delivered, at an excellent price........ Plus, they use good quality parts and don't dirty up or damage your vehicle. The shop is accommodating and sensitive to the customer's needs. I really appreciate the work ethic these fellers have. Been driving 43 years and this is the best auto repair shop I've come across. I would recommend Taylor's Service Center to anyone, in a heartbeat. 5 star service!
When my 9 year old grandson's g-kart wheels were flat I took him to Taylor's Service Center and they did not hesitate to help him out. They gave a 9 year old boy two great gifts - they fixed tires and showed him about good business practice by telling him there was NO Charge!!
I had a flat lawnmower tire & he plugged it. Got me back up & running in no time at all. Very fair price. Nice little country shop with some good ol boys that get the job done.
We have been very pleased with Taylors for servicing all 3 of our vehicles. The shop has a good reputation locally for great service, fair prices and for being trustworthy. If you do poor work or rip people off in a small town, word will get around. I wish I had begun using Taylors a lot sooner.
David is an awesome worker had my car inspection done in no time! ( Remember closer to the end of the month and start they'll naturally be a little bogged down ) I won't take the car anywhere else if I can help it!
We just had inspections done for both our cars at this small shop. The customer service is top notch. David (the shop manager) is a very standup honest guy. My wife needed 4 new tires put on our Honda Civic and she wasn't hassled into something she didn't need. They now have customers for life.
