I’m really disappointed writing the update to my review but I have reached out multiple times to Goochland Motors with no response. We have taken our vehicle that we bought two months ago to two shops, one being for a full transmission replacement and everyone who has seen it has let us know what terrible shape the vehicle they sold us is in. Our vehicle was missing multiple fuses (including the one to have our rear running lights work), had a busted coolant tube, an improperly mounted exhaust, and again the entire transmission is blown. There was over 20 bolts missing inside of our transmission and the few that were in there were not even the right ones. And to top all of that off Manny had assured me we would get our plates to our new address and the DMV let me know that even this simple request was not made so we had to pay even more to get them to us. Stay away from this business at all cost
I will admit, I was extremely anxious throughout the entire experience. My car is 20 years old and my credit isn't the best with student loans and I really didn't believe any dealership would be willing to work with me. I found Goochland Motors through the VCU Discount Marketplace (I work for VCU) and found the car I wanted, but was afraid I wouldn't qualify. Manny was patient with me; he noted my trepidation and was so kind. He was never pushy and took his time to explain everything to me so I would understand it and gave me a chance to take notes. I got a great deal with trading in my car and he even got my radio removed without charging me extra for it. It's been a long time since I've felt this safe driving. Everything aligned and I am so grateful. He even called to touch base to ensure everything was alright with the car today. It's been a long time since I've been able to trust someone with something so vital; Manny has integrity and I feel so blessed going into this year with a newer, safer vehicle. Angel (my new car's name because I saw sooo many angel numbers lol) is a birthday gift to myself I didn't think I'd be able to get.

Have a nice selection of vehicles... friendly personnel... helpful and caring. Disregard for personal items on traded vehicle.. thrown away. Purchased vehicle almost out of gas... $53 to fill it up. I really think the trade value for my vehicle was lowballed considerably, however I got payments within my range. Overall nice people, but it's the typical used car dealer.
