Amazing experience! Lexo and Richard were incredibly helpful and kind. I came in with a unique issue of needing help putting my license plate on the front of my car using a license plate holder. Lexo was able to find screws that fit my holder, screwed it into the bottom of the car in existing holes, and was kind about it the whole time. 100% coming back to this Firestone for any automobile issues I have. Could not recommend them more.

These guys are the best!!! I live in DC but have been coming here for 5 years for all of my car needs. Richard and Elliot made sure my concerns were promptly addressed, and Dean went the extra mile on a Friday evening to get my car fixed before the weekend. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The associates here are very helpful and friendly. They made sure we got the best tires for our vehicle but they also made sure we had everything we needed at the best prices!

Firestone Complete Auto Care has taken great care of my vehicles for years. From routine service to tires, they’re fast, fair, and reliable. Recently they resolved a tire issue quickly with quality work at a fair price.

Service was performed properly. Staff was courteous, greatly appreciated. But in the invoice there was a over $20 shop fee for lifetime wheel alignment which is crap. I want this money refunded. Prior to service I had asked the total cost and Firestone did not disclose any shop fee. It's a basically hidden fee which they don't state upfront. I am sure it's a Firestone placed corporate charge but customers should not have to pay such junk fees. With over 1800 stores, Firestone maybe charging customers about $90 million annually in such fees. Time to stop the rip off !!!!

Although Firestone offers a very reasonable price for their “lifetime” alignment, this particular establishment has a terrible scheduling problem. I was told to bring in my vehicle at 9 a.m.. I thought that having an early morning reservation for this service would preclude backups in scheduling. WRONG! I was told that the service would take two hours because another individual was waiting ahead of me. I wish that the corporate office read these reviews and would make changes to this outlet. What a waste of time because they are unable to schedule production properly.

Today on 19th Jan I have dropped the car at 11am for wheel alignment. I called around 1.30 pm to check the status and was told it should be done in 30mins. And when I called back at 4pm they responded saying it will take an hour to get it done. Not sure what kind of alignment and service they are working on. No time sense at all. I have paid $220 dollars for the lifetime wheel alignment. But the service I get out of the price is unbearable. Hope they should work on their timelines and also how to treat the customers. The worst service experience so far . Feeling bad for what I have opt for and paid for. Please stay away if anyone is looking. I would defined give a zero star if I have the option to

Were able to do the work they recommended on the spot. I didn't need to return. Like everything else now, it was expensive, but Firestone doesn't try to rip me off like other garages do. I simply stopped going to the others and make the extra drive to get to Firestone.

Team members from the McLean location earned 10/10 overall experience because they delivered the work within the timeframe they said they would. I appreciate that the technician provided me a copy of the alignment for review. My overall customer experience was excellent compared to the one I had with the Sterling location. I also observed the interactions between team members and other customers and noticed that they were consistently courteous and reasonable. Rich (spelling?) was extremely helpful to me and other customers. I was impressed how he guided another team member handling a simple ask of getting air for tires from an elder customer instead of having the gentleman to wait in line all the way back. It showed that team members use common sense.

If I could give less than one star, I would.  They are overpriced and try to get more work done on your car than is needed. I had been going to this place for a few years until it gave me an estimate of over $7,000 for repairs!!!!  They even tried to convince me that my car had a safety hazard and that work needed to be done right away.  I didn't feel like being pressured, so I made an appointment with another garage for a second opinion.  The other garage estimated the work needed at $1440 and informed me that there were no safety concerns with my car, only some essential routine maintenance that required attention. I  will never go back to Firestone at McLean!!!!  Huge rip off!!  Honesty and transparency go a long way.  Something that can't be found at Firestone in McLean. Customer service is bad.  The manager never smiles and seems to hate his job. Save money and time, go elsewhere!

I have been coming here for years, but I have been disappointed with my last two visits. For this visit, I booked an appointment online and dropped my car off at the appointment time. The appointment was for an oil change and tire rotation. Six hours later, my husband called because he was heading over to pick up the car and he was told the car hadn't been started on yet. He went to pick it up a couple hours later before the store closed and it still hadn't been touched yet and was told it wouldn't be completed today. They said if we left it overnight, they might be able to do it first thing in the morning, but they also said they might have to wait until Monday. They also said they called me to let me know that it wouldn't be completed on the day of, but I received no call and had no messages left for me. Why do you have available appointments if there isn't time to work on the car on the same day of your appointment? And to say that you let me know when there was no communication made it very disappointing.

I usually don’t leave negative reviews, but my experience with this Firestone location was extremely negative. I spoke with two different employees ahead of time to organize and confirm my appointment. I made it clear that I needed my car back same day. They scheduled me for the appointment for a flat tire repair and tire rotation, so everything should have been simple. However, just two minutes before I arrived, I’m talking to the technician and he tells me they couldn’t honor the appointment after all. No explanation, no alternative solution just a last-minute cancellation that completely threw off my day because they can’t manage their appointments. If you need a shop that respects your time and commitments, I cannot recommend this Firestone. The lack of reliability and communication was incredibly disappointing.

Richard the manager was straight forward in the time that it would take as I would be waiting for my vehicle. Not just with me but the way he handled other conversation with other customers that I over heard while checking out. Richard makes it understood to the customers what entailed with their job and how long it will take. As a customer, I appreciate that! Good Job Richard!

My car battery died while it was in a gas station across the street. They lent me a battery recharge kit to jumpstart my car. I was able to have my battery replaced within an hour and a half. I highly recommend coming into this Firestone in Mclean, Virginia.

I really appreciate the flexibility at this location. I had to reschedule my appointment, and they were still able to get my vehicle in at the last appointment time for the day. The entire visit was quick—I only waited about 30 minutes for my vehicle. The excellent customer service has not gone unnoticed. I highly recommend this Firestone location.

The service department is very nice and works hard to get you the sales discounts and get you out the door with your competed service within an hour, very happy with Firestone as I live in Florida and the roads do not have pot-holes everywhere, working in VA I got a screw in my tire from a pot-hole, this store is also very busy with state inspections what a business to have.

My car was working fine, but had a minor issue. They didn’t fix the main issue I came in for. They blew other minor maintenance issues out of proportion (tried to frame it as a safety issue) and tried to charge me thousands of dollars in repairs. My local mechanic did the repairs at a fraction of the costs. Don’t go here - I don’t trust them.

Booking an appointment online was easy and the staff were able to accommodate me the morning of the next day. Lexo was very helpful and considerate while doing a simple tire inspection and pumping for my car. He was very professional multitasking through fielding incoming phone calls and dealing with multiple clients coming in for their appointments. The service fees were incredibly reasonable and I highly recommend getting your car maintenance done at this Firestone location.

Stopped in late in the day, near closing time trying to help my friend's wife (with baby and toddler) get her busted tire replaced. Lexo was our hero. Faster than NASCAR pit crew. This guy was polite and super efficient.

I was in earlier this week for an alignment. Even though the guys in the office were super busy, they were communicative and respectful to all of the customers, myself included. They even applied a coupon I didn't know about! The alignment tech, Cao, did a great job. He even came by to show me the alignment results to see if I was satisfied with the numbers before he finished up. That's great service. I'll be back, and that's much more than I can say about several other shops I've been to.

To preface, I am a young woman and I came to Firestone by myself for a standard oil change. My family and I are longtime customers of Firestone. I had a coupon for a free break check, so I decided to get them looked at, as I knew the front pads may be on their way out. The boss/manager of the McLean Firestone comes back out after my oil change and tells me that my front and back rotors and pads are in such bad condition that they are close to failing state inspection. I pulled up an invoice from only six weeks ago stating that my rotors and pads had been replaced at a different Firestone location. He then proceeded to assure me that it was not as urgent as he had first said, but he would make sure to get me a quote before I leave. Once the boss left, the clerk told me that I am under warranty based on my invoice because I had my rotors and pads changed so recently at a different Firestone location, another fact that the manager/boss neglected to tell me. I told the man that I would be not returning to this location and I would visit a different Firestone location to receive my free pads and rotors under warranty, if necessary. Today, I went to the Firestone in Sterling, VA with a 12pm appointment. After 3 hours of waiting, I was shown pictures and told that my rotors and pads are in brand new condition. In summary, don’t come here if you don’t like being lied to and taken advantage of! Update: I was contacted by the area manager, who said that I ‘misunderstood’ the situation. “While his intent was not to pressure you into immediate service, he should have explained that the conversation was a quote for your awareness rather than a required repair…In reviewing your July 24th ticket, I also noted that the teammate who performed the inspection at McLean is not yet fully qualified to conduct brake inspections independently…may I ask what prompted you to request a brake inspection again so soon?” This was clearly intended to excuse the unacceptable behavior of and deception from the manager of this location. Once again, if you don’t like being lied to, taken advantage of, and then lied to second time with false excuses, don’t come here!

I have brought my. Car to fix a flat tire. Both Lexi and Mehul were very courteous and fixed the problem free of cost despite I have not bought my cars to this location for almost 2 years. I have been a customer of FS - at this location since 2007 and stopped coming due to poor customer by previous managemen. Both Lexo and Mehul have changed my opinion in very positive way. Now I am very likely to come back Thanks to Lexo and Mehul !

The only place that was able to do the alignment on my Tesla. The guys got it done super fast and with great quality. I’m really happy with the result - from now on, I’m only going to them!

This shop was trustworthy years ago, but with the new management, I will never return. I went in for an oil change, which I have done a number of times here. Dropped my car off for the entire day and was told it would be done before the end of the day. I received a call to come pick it up. Told them I'd be there at 4pm. I got there at 5pm and my car still was not ready. They needed to order more oil for my car. I then sat in the waiting area for an additional 2 hours before my car was done. They gave me half off for the oil change. Said I could half off the next one, too. I would have even forgiven this instance...but Two weeks ago, I went in for a wheel alignment and tire rotation. The mechanic said that the front and rear hubs needed to be changed due to damage, and a few lug nuts required replacing. and they quoted me over $1,500. He wasn't done with the quote, but said the car was not drivable outside of McLean and recommended I make an appointment. I took my car home, called another shop I had visited once before, had my car towed there, and found that the hubs were completely fine. He changed a few lug nuts, cleaned some others - $380. I don't trust them at all. Will not be returning.

I had such a great experience at this Firestone. I originally had some work done at another location and ran into a few issues, but Lexo and Richard were incredibly helpful in getting everything taken care of. They were professional, kind, and made the whole process super smooth. What I really appreciated is that they didn’t try to overcharge me or push unnecessary services — just honest, straightforward help. I’ll definitely be coming back here in the future!

All of the generic five-star reviews stoking some Richard's ego are obviously fake. Not a single thing about this shop is redeemable. They go through a whole shtick of forcing you to schedule appointments far in advance, but you will still have to wait a ridiculous amount of time to simply start the service, which consists of them letting your car sit in the garage for 3-4 hours while twiddling their thumbs. It is farcical. I called them while standing nearby outside the shop, looking at my untouched vehicle, and they promised me that they were hard at work assessing my car. And what of these assessments? I had several possible fixes I could have opted for, and they belligerently said they would need a "long time" and several "machines" to carefully inspect and decide which fix was proper. Less than a minute later, after I walked out (and definitely before my car had actually been looked at), I received an invoice showing that they had elected for the most expensive and grossly unnecessary option. Furthermore, they refuse to fulfill their contractual obligations for any warranty. I'm not some simpleton who missed a line of fine print. I have the warranty I purchased from Firestone in full in front of them and have met all of the procedural requirements exactly, yet they try to bluster and refuse to accept what is in writing. If service needs to be performed and a service is performed, then I am fine with paying. But they refuse to say what they are going to do, do not explain anything, and cannot give even an estimate of price before shooing me away and performing all sorts of services that I did not come in for, hoping that I will either not be able to dispute an unwanted service once it's done or that I will not have to energy to dispute all of the charges. Never go to this place. This is not a one-off. You will regret coming here.

Blew a tire on I-270 at morning rush hour - was this was closest service so was towed here. Richard and his team fit me into their busy day. Called him on the way in (no one likes surprises) and he had the right tire on hand. He is courteous and professional - he even recommended a restaurant to get breakfast within walking distance. Nice guy. I am back on the road again. Recommend highly.
