Very professional. Replaced the battery in my daughter's car while she was on her way to work at the hospital. Nursing student. Battery tested regular, honest employees. I chose to replace it as it was an older battery. I am a mechanic out of town. Thank you!

I went there to change my back tail light the guy who works there Picked the most expensive light bulb and told me this the best he pushed me to go with mechanic who was stop by and told me he can Install the lamp !!!! He installed the lamp for me but he didn’t told me that lamp is not working basically the sales guy try to upscale a isles led lamp that is not even fit to my car long story short the cop sopped me and told me my tail light doesn’t work!!! Imagine you pay extra dollars for a lamp that is not even right for your car just because one sells a associate I want to do up cells and you think you are in a good hand but in reality they just lied to you. I had a very bad experience with this location and they would never ever recommend that location.

I had to get a battery late at night after getting jump started and Joer was so incredibly helpful! Changed my battery for me in freezing weather, cannot thank him enough!

I’ve consistently had wonderful, professional service here. From Scott who answers the phone to Mushtaq who helped with replacing my battery today to the previous few other employees I’ve gotten help from in the past, every step has always been impeccable. I had a great experience at AutoZone! The salesperson didn’t just answer my questions from behind the counter—he actually came outside to take a look at my car and help me figure out what was going on. He was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely wanted to help. In the end, I didn’t end up needing to buy anything, but I left feeling confident and well taken care of. It’s rare to get that kind of service these days. Highly recommend this location!

I went in for a battery test and the young man at the counter was able to quickly diagnose my issue. Although he couldn’t replace the battery because it is housed in the trunk of my car rather than under the front hood, he gave solid advice as to where I should go and options I could consider to get it replaced. The battery test was free and there was absolutely no hassle.

Why shop here and be treated like crap? Would you shop here if you knew they don’t care about you? I feel bad for those that don’t have the patience to just travel 10 minutes further to any other part store for a different experience. Shop online or just go to a different store. You don’t want to be dependent on this store period. I wouldn’t trust them for anything important or inconsequential. After saying thank you sir and how are you sir followed by a predominantly asked question most businesses practice of, “do you price match?”, was told several times in an abrupt and rude tone no, followed by a quiet deafened tone of “you can leave” to avoid further communication. Does the owner give the employees break times? Was he hungry? We won’t know and I don’t recommend going to this store anyway if this is the experience for a commonly known question consumers have. Gas is relatively low enough you can spend that extra time to drive to a different store and you’ll probably still end up saving money! Terrible shop owner(s) and / or employee(s). Employee went to the back and came back within seconds saying no, “you can leave” after immediately saying no when I first asked. You sure that’s how you talk to consumers? Kindness goes a long way, such as getting a small sale. Every store and their affiliates will price match, considering how most brick and mortar stores are offering this automatically using inventory management software to adjust based on the most up to date market data. Against my better judgement, I left the products back at their exact location. I should have left it right there on the counter to make it evident this would be the products they look at as lost sales. You could do better, buddy. Unlikely store will exist in the future though they have a decent location. Why? Because customer service is core to future business. If this experience is an indication of anything else, avoid avoid avoid. I was brought up better during my time in retail long long time ago to know “have a good day!” Is better than “you can leave”. The audacity of a business that thinks they can get away with this behavior just because they’re in Herndon. This is important because people generally don’t like wasting their time. However, if I were a future customer and read this, I’d find a different part store. There are plenty of stores only one short drive away. Call it $10 bucks or $20 bucks total transaction, poor quality of service is poor quality of service. Imagine the type of experiences they get away if this is their response to a generic question 99% of people will likely ask in today’s digital world . Do they care? Probably not but do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I’m visiting the advanced auto parts, target, Walmart, or if I’m feeling extra lazy - just going to buy these things off Amazon or eBay.

Excellent Service at AutoZone! I had a fantastic experience at AutoZone thanks to one of their outstanding employees, George F. From the moment I walked in, George greeted me with a friendly smile and genuine willingness to help. I was having battery issues and didn’t know where to start, but George walked me through the entire process with patience, expertise, and professionalism. Not only did he test my battery and explain the results clearly, but he also helped me choose the right replacement and even installed it for me on the spot. His knowledge of car parts, his attention to detail, and his dedication to making sure I left satisfied made a big difference. In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, George F. is a true example of excellence. AutoZone is lucky to have him on their team. I had an amazing experience at AutoZone thanks to Fred Valentin. He was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and patient while helping me choose the right motor oil for my Audi. He took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure I felt confident before I left the store. You can tell he really cares about his customers. I’ll definitely be coming back because of his great service. Highly recommended!

Well, during one of the feb 2025 winter storms, my wiper froze (and broke). I continued driving with makeshift solutions thru spring, and finally made time to get to the autozone on a friday. I got them my make and model, a younger adult entered the details onto his machine, and led me to the wiper aisle and picked one up for me. I purchases it and tried fitting it on a hot day and couldn't figure it out. Got help of friends and we figured it was just the wrong wiper model. Today, i went back to exchange, and another store worker got me another wiper, and walked with me out, and helped fit the other model. No hassle, just got the job done :)

I had a bad experience at this Autozone in Herndon. A man treated my dad and wife incredibly poorly. We wanted to buy a battery for the car, and from the moment we arrived, he treated us terribly. We will not buy here again.

Staff is friendly and knowledgeable! I decided to try my hand at replacing my car battery myself. Knowing nothing about cars, I panicked when a part disintegrated (corrosion from the old battery). I went to the store with the picture of the part and the old battery to have it recycled. The employee got me credit for the old battery (didn't know it was a thing) and immediately identified the part from the pic and went to grab everything I needed. He gave me tips when I asked. Will be coming here again.

Scott Howard was absolutely amazing! He made the process of purchasing and installing a car battery so smooth. In addition, there was some sort of long screw in my car that needed to be replaced (forgive me I really don't know much about cars, so not sure the exact term). He replaced it for me at no additional cost. Just a nice guy all around, and so happy I came here for help. I will definitely come back. Thanks Scott!

Older gentleman at the counter at 430pm Jan 1 was quite a jerk. Made a sly comment that I should be thankful that he is giving me my money back for the parts (wiper blades) I was returning bc they were wet and opened. I had to laugh because they were parts I bought the previous day based on their recommendation/ system matching to my car. And obviously they would be opened, I was trying to replace my wipers...? Not sure where the "wet" comment came from as nothing was wet. Won't be coming back. Will drive further to go to another location or other autoparts store entirely.

Could use some training in customer service and greetings. Good intentions, but was told to "go on" after my transaction which I wasn't sure how to take. Even "You're good," would have been better. Overall good store and people.

Isaac, as well as the other employees I encountered today at the Herndon Auto Zone, were helpful, knowledgeable, courteous, and professional in every way! Isaac diagnosed my "Check Engine Light" and explained (patiently!) what the results meant, and made suggestions on how to resolve the issue. While I was there, I observed an employee installing a new battery for a young woman, another employee (working under the hood) helping an elderly customer, and an employee back in the store efficiently helping customers there. (Isaac also put my key fob back together - it had popped apart when I was trying to start the car to return home!) I highly recommend this Herndon Auto Zone for great service! Thank you!

Nice to have this store so close. It's always clean, is well stocked, and the employees are not only be helpful, but they seem to like what they do. Yesterday I had a generator installed at my house and needed the battery to start the motor. A quick call confirmed they had the right size in stock (4 actually) and I picked it up 10 minutes later.
