Took my 2006 Freightliner classic here due to it check engine light coming on and shutting the truck off I was told that I needed a head gasket they gave me a quote of $5900 i agreed to proceed with the work while they was doing the gasket they notice that I needed cam bushings I agreed to that got my truck back two weeks later not even 30 days truck was still doing the same thing called to the shop to speak with service manager who seem to down play everything saying they will look at it but gave me the run around about if it was something they they would fix it after misdiagnosis from them it turn out to be oil cooler replaced that and truck is running fine got me out of almost 6k
Outstanding service from the entire team! Their towing and repair rates are very reasonable, and the quality of work is top-notch. If you find yourself in need of assistance in the area, this is definitely the place to call.
They work till midnight which is good in case you drive late night. Don’t stop by Loves 4 miles away. Mechanic is patient and fair price. Multiple options as well. They are fast and no wait time as well. Other shops like Loves, TA keep you wait at least 2-3 hours and little expensive on tires
This place is definitely about customer service in my honest opinion. Went in for a service code on a Dd15 and they got right to it saving me wasted time at a Freightliner.
I waited 8 hours at their location to have my truck fixed. It was a small job this time! I paid, left, came back two days later because It wasn’t fixed and my truck was going into derate. They told me I would have to wait 5 more hours for them just to look at my truck. They have ZERO sense of honoring the warranty which comes with prior payment, good customer service or respecting people’s time. It’s sooooo unprofessional and a waste of money and a disappointment. I won’t be going back. It’s never a pleasant or helpful or fast experience here. The old man there is unbelievably rude.
Great group of guys. I even had the chance to meet the owner Mr. Redwine who greeted me very pleasantly! He has an awesome story! Will always stop here whenever I need anything trucking!
Hey yall I just want to let yall know I went to Redwine International over here in Skippers, VA. And they really did a great job at a reasonable price at getting me up and going again in a timely manner. I was pleasantly surprised. 5 stars. Highly recommend. Got me in in less than hour. Out in less than 4 hours, and only $129/ an hour. Most dealerships are charging $185 /hour now. They brazed up a hole in my main airline coming off of the air compressor under the cab, going to the drier, instead of trying to force me to buy a new one. And I got out of there for under $500.
This is a best place to go for repairs..
Their road breakdown repairs was cheap and reasonable..faster than taking a flight from Philadelphia, PA to Atlanta GA. Mike is the right guy..
Breaking down is never fun, but when you’re given service like this, it makes it way easier. If you find yourself in need of repairs, I’d call these guys first. Super fast service!
Went in at 2am for clearance lights not coming on.. there was only 1 mechanic and as I pulled in he was leaving out for a road call but dude was nice enough to take a quick look in which he quickly discovered that my wires weren't connected all the way... He showed me wat the issue was and I pulled into the truck stop across the street and fixed myself. I'm thankful for their hours and the mechanics help
These guys have come through for me many times before. I, yet again, needed another late night repair. They're knowledgeable staff and great mechanic got me in and out fast. They understand the needs of owner operators and company drivers alike, None of us like to sit. They have a driver friendly parking lot and a lounge to wait while your repair is done. Great place!!
If you are in the area and blow a tire or have an issue with your truck this is the place to go... It's dealership with a great level of service and prices that match or beat independent shops.
Everyone there was very nice but like every other dealership they were busy and had several people ahead of me. That is to be expected. They ended up fixing my truck in the middle of the night on the second night but no one called me the next morning to let me know it was done. I found out when I called to see if I needed to get hotel room for another day. They offer rides to hotels in the area at no extra cost and that is very much appreciated but they are not a taxi service so dont be in a hurry.
Tried calling just before 11 pm on a sunday hours are until 3am, to check on the status of my truck. Person on the phone was rude told me I had to call back at 0730 to find out anything and hung up. Not a good impression but this is where the company had the truck towed.
At least they have someone working on Sundays unlike most dealerships. So I will give them 3 stars since I might be cranky having to work second shift at a dealership on a sunday as well. I have worked at dealerships in the past and people answering the phone and dealing with the public should be a bit more professional and polite. Could have been less abrupt about it.
Spent 18k on a overhaul 16 months later and 67k miles oil leaks everywhere Let’s not forget only 90 days warranty on labor weather parts new or not wat a bunch of crooks Jim Redwine is the biggest in Virginia and North Carolina I repeat don’t allow them to work on your trucks u will regret it I promise you
I had a flat on my Rv Hauler right at the state line going from Va to N.C. my Motor Club called them and the tire tech showed up within 40 minutes and did everything from putting on my spare tire and taking the bad tire off the rim and took it with him which I was glad for him to have it, The Tech was courteous and well trained, I kept their card in the event I have another diesel truck issue they would be the first I would call.
My RV HDT had a flat rigt before the Va / NC state line and my Goodsam Road service called them and they were there in 30 mins, the tech was friendly and courteous did a neat job, asked for my tire and I was glad he took it. He did such a nice job I even gave him a tip.
Had the best service you could get from having a blown tire on an RV on 95 south in Emporia VA. The 73 year old gentleman had the tire off and back on again in the matter of an hour. Kudos to you for having this fine man as an employee.
As far as tire issues go, these guys are fast and do the job right. I can't say anything about other mechanical issues because haven't dealt with them on anything, but for tire repair, I would recommend.
Trained monkeies would have done a better job of fixing my truck. Everything is a fight with them, never seen a dealer who couldn't give you a price after 3 weeks of begging for one. The work was shoddy and the employees were inept. Don't walk run from this place. I would give it a negative star if I could.
