I had an appointment for an oil change at Koons Toyota of Arlington. Even though I have been paying monthly for my extended service plan, their system showed no record of my payment. Instead of explaining or helping politely, the service advisor was dismissive and spoke to me as if I was a fault. He kept me waiting for a long time without any communication or apology.
Later, the manager reviewed my account and confirmed that the issue was on their end. My car's VIN number had been entered incorrectly in their system. He apologized.
However, my main concern is the unprofessional and disrespectful treatment I received. Mistakes can happen but customers deserve to be treated with respect and clear communication.
Vlad was one of the best salesman I’ve met. He was always hospitable and respectful towards us and showed real empathy when we went to purchase our 2026 Corolla. He was understanding of our situation and went the extra mile to advocate for us, talking to his boss as well as the general manager who he had to call. I purchased my car from Koons Toyota Arlington and initially had a good experience - the customer service during the purchase was pleasant and professional. However, when I later discovered an issue with the car and reached out to the team for assistance, I was disappointed by the lack of response. Despite following up, no one got back to me, which has been very frustrating.
I had expected better post-purchase support, especially after such a positive sales experience. I hope the dealership can improve communication and responsiveness for future customers.
I had the greatest experience working with Vladyslav, typically with dealerships your going to have a headache through the start to the end of the process. But this wasn’t the case with Vladyslav, I inquired about a vehicle around a month or so ago and told him exactly what I needed, he didn’t try to push me in a direction I didn’t want to go, he told me exactly what they had under my requirements, he was honest, and told me all the things I needed to know. Mind you, I live all the way in Maryland and I have multiple car dealerships down the street from me, but I’d cried to go with this one. I ended up extremely happy with the car I got and I wouldn’t go anywhere else. If you have the option work with Vladyslav, you’ll be happy!

So this is what happened on me. I was there for the first time. I dropped my RAV4 for Multipoint Inspection and basic service. To be fair I went there from MD because their price is favorable compared to the once in close to me. Shortly after i got a recommendation from the "Mechanic" as to what services my car needed with the severity level, which I differ many of them. But none of them suggest I needed an Engine maintenance.
Guess what when I crank my engine and open the AC. The message pops up saying 'Engine Maintenance required" (NOT AN ENGINE LIGHT ) so the guy in the reception was like "did you told us about the message when you drop the car". I wondered the point of a multipoint inspection if I am the one who needed to tell them what is right in front of the Cruse control. it even makes me wonder if they didn't help me out about the thing right in front of my aye did they really change the oil filter or gasket for that matter. He even suggested the newer versions of Toyota has no Engine light but a message pop up on the cruse control.
I respectfully asked whether they can help me now, at this point while i was there he start taking on the phone to another person about another issue and nodes me and said they could not help me today and asked me to drop it tomorrow. Dude I need the car, if you are not helping me today, why would i come back to you tomorrow.
So i went to another car shop. It does not even take 30 minute. It is not an engine light, since my car is closing in 90,000 miles it was a system reset. I am disappointed.

Pretty good customer service. Good cars for great prices. I had bought a good used car that ended up having some brake issues. I reached out and told them and then I was able to bring it in for repairs. Free of charge. They can be busy so it took a few days to schedule a time to bring it in. But it worked out in the end.
I have been a regular customer at Koons Arlington Toyota for oil changes and never had issues in the past. However, over the past few months, I requested a paid service to have my rear seats cleaned, and each time they postponed it, promising “next time,” but never delivering.
Most recently, I scheduled an appointment and left my car at the dealership at 9 AM. Later, I was informed that I had to wait for approval—something I should have been told before arriving. I waited all day and picked up my car at 5 PM, and the service was not performed at all.
This experience reflects extremely poor communication, lack of professionalism, and a complete disregard for a customer’s time and money. I hope management addresses these issues.

I’ve been to this Toyota location many times for oil changes. Wait times can be long but after my experience today I will no longer be using this business. I came in at 7:30am for an appointment for an airbag recall which I scheduled nearly a week prior. I called the day prior to my appointment to ask about time the car would be in service and if a loaner was needed, at no point did they say the recall repairs couldn’t be completed. When I went in to check in the service member told me that they didn’t have the sensors to repair my car. He very vaguely said they “might” be in next week. I asked if he would call another dealership to get me in since I had taken off of work and explained their lack of communication of “running out of the parts yesterday.” He told me that I would have to figure it out myself and there was nothing he could do for me with a condescending smile. Luckily, I did call around and was able to find a different Toyota dealership that could get me in and make a very vital repair to my passenger airbag. This dealership has lost my business and I made sure to email Toyota directly so that some changes could be made in customer service and management of active recall that affect the safety of customers vehicles. I won’t be back and you should avoid this business as well.

Seamless experience from beginning to end. I put in a deposit for a request of a Rav4 Hybrid Woodlands edition in a pretty rare color and Ray was able to get my dream car in a short amount of time - exact color and specs. From the moment I walked through the doors, communication was direct, and the whole team was welcoming and kind. This was my first time buying a car in a dealer (walked in there alone - 25F). Normally one would feel a bit intimidated but I felt that I was in great care. No gimmicks and pressure from the team (Shoutout to Ray, Gian, Shereen, Steven). I had an extremely disappointing experience with Koons Arlington Toyota. I purchased a used car from them, and within just 25 days, the engine completely blew. What followed was an absolute nightmare.
After reporting the issue, the dealership took 15 days to even address the situation, with zero communication in between. I had to constantly follow up, only to be met with hostility from their staff when they finally did respond. Instead of taking responsibility for selling me a faulty vehicle, they had the audacity to demand I pay for the repairs myself.
This dealership clearly has no regard for customer service or accountability. I trusted them to sell me a reliable car, and they failed miserably. Save yourself the trouble—avoid this place at all costs.
