T&J did a fantastic job with multiple body repairs. I needed my car ready ASAP before shipping to California, and they expedited my repairs in impressive fashion.
My front badge was cracked. Unfortunately the part was not available so they had the original piece remolded and repainted. I was charged a fair price despite the increased labor involved with the repair rather than replacement.
In addition, my undercarriage splash shield was ripped apart by a large puddle on the highway. They assessed the damage and resecured with pins and screws, performing this repair for free.
They had my car ready in under 48 hours which gave me plenty of room before my car shipping date. Overall the team worked with great speed, practicality, and fair pricing.
I highly recommend this place. They've been taking care of my car needs the past 6 years and have been fantastic. They have great service and fantastic prices.

I had a great experience here. I brought my 2004 Z4 convertible here after buying second hand and having a substantial amount of body work I wanted done. They allowed me to get an estimate with no appointment, quoted a competitive price, honored that price at the end, and were done within the timeframe they stated. With concerns over quality of painting from other reviewers on here, and just by looking at the work done, I can tell they sanded, primed, and used high quality paint and clear coat, which they told me they applied 3 layers of. Oh, and can’t forget about that 1 year warranty! Great experience and my classic BMW looks brand new! Thanks T&J!!
Just as I thought that this world we live in was a bad place, these Guys were like Guardians Angels. Very Professional, Very Peaceful Atmosphere & Very Comfortable. My car was deemed a total loss by my insurance. To my surprise, Caliber Collision wouldn't touch the car and neither would a few other places. T&J were one of my last hopes and not only did they completely FIX EVERYTHING, but they did it at a much much much CHEAPER rate than my insurance said it would cost. I would recommend them to ANYONE who needs car body repair!
I brought to T&J my 14 year old Toyota with no collision insurance, dreading the bill as I had been planning to upgrade my car soon but wanted to hold on for a bit longer while prices are still insane. They gave me a very reasonable quote, and it was fixed in just four days + the final amount due was even lower. Super impressed!
Couple of month before I had an accident and I went to them.
First, there was only body work but they added alot of extra work in it. I said okay. Which most of them they didn't change.
Second, they told me we changed the whole bumper, I knew they didn’t. They just paint the old one and charge for the new one. I still said It’s okay. However, it’s been three months and all the paint are peeling off from the bumper.
They charged so much for that.
I would never go again and would never recommend to anybody. And I already talk to insurance about possible fraud.
Capable, resourceful, friendly, and candid. When four other repair shops said I "needed" to replace my bumper and two lights (that were damaged but still working after a minor parking mishap)--which would be expensive and add several weeks of waiting--these guys managed to fix everything to working order (even if not shiny and new) for 1/3 the cost of other shops that would have replaced everything.
My windshield and back window were shattered by vandals and insurance wanted me to wait a week for their repairman. TJ’s replied to me immediately and sent Jimmy, who did a great job for a fair price.
We broke down on 495 and towed the vehicle to T&J. They were very fair and not greedy because they could have really taken advantage of us but they didn't. Very friendly and helpful.
The roof on my 99 Jeep Cherokee had a ton of rust showing on it, and I am getting ready to ship it overseas with me, so I brought it to T&J after reading some of the reviews here. (I also got a quote from both T&J and another body shop in the area, and T&J's was about 40% less, so it was a no brainer for me). It took a day or two longer than they initially said it would take when I got the quote, but I got the impression that they were swamped with business. When I picked up the Jeep, I was shocked at how good the roof looked. It went from being borderline embarrassing to looking like new! Just picked it up today, so can't say anything about the durability of the paint job, but right now it looks smooth, clean, and professionally done. I'm impressed!
T&J's auto body repair helped me out with a service that is not even on their website. I needed to replace my entire air vent, I came with the part and they quickly repaired it at a exceptional deal. They were so nice and personable. And again, helped me when it wasn't in their scope of work. Thanks again!
Took my Toyota Corolla in to get an estimate on a dent I put into my door trying to fit into a tight garage. Estimate was swift and professional, and when I called to schedule the service they got me in right away. Upon receipt of the car, the work was done wonderfully. The staff were friendly and helpful as well. I got several estimates in the area, and this was by far the cheapest estimate I could find. No additional costs were applied when I picked up the car from the initial estimate. The kicker is, they also provide a 1 year warranty on their work, which provides a lovely peace of mind. 10/10 would recommend this business.
Called them up on a Monday to get my window fixed after it had been broken in to in DC. Had a estimate and a quote for the parts on hand and told them I could get it sent to them beforehand. They said it was no problem and to bring the car in on Wednesday and it would be out by Thursday at the latest. Took my car in on Wednesday morning right when they opened. Told them I was moving on Sunday and for sure needed it by Sunday. Called on Thursday and was told it would be ready on Friday. Called on Friday and was told it wouldn’t be done until Monday. Called the dealer who was shipping in the parts, was told it would definitely be in by Monday. Talked to the owner, Juan, that Saturday and multiple other times assuring me the car will be done on Monday. Had to get a day extension on my lease to accommodate the change. Come Monday morning, called the auto shop and they said the part should be in at 11 and it will be ready mid afternoon and that they would call me. Called again at 2 to gauge when it would be done. Was told they were having trouble getting in contact with someone at the dealer to see if the part was in. I called the dealer (who immediately picked up) and was told that they won’t get the part until Tuesday. I was forced to take my business elsewhere as they could have proactively ordered the parts to service my vehicle earlier and filled with false deadlines that were not only not met, but completely degraded by the owner. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS AUTO SHOP! This is the worst act of customer service I have seen from any company, let alone auto shop. Please consider any other option.
These guys are the masters of the "not enough to send to insurance" body repair. I have had a ton of little dents and scratches - hitting a parking column myself, rude people who bump you and don't leave notes, and a teenager who...well...he's a teenager. I recently had work done on my 2012 Acura MDX - just a dent and paint transfer and they really did a beautiful job. And then on my next car - an infiniti QX, someoone side-swiped my back fender flare and dented it and scratched the paint and it's a brand new car. They made a big effort to save me money and got the job done without replacing the fender, which would have been prohibitive. But the best part is, man are they inexpensive! The most expensive fix I have had was $500. My only knock on them? Answer the phone, guys! They have my business for life. And they are so damn nice too.
Guys, avoid going here. I had my bumper painted and they did not sand the bumper, nor did they even prime it. The paint is chipping. If a car received a good paint job and is scratched, it scratches, the paint shouldn't chip. Mine chipped disastrously. Additionally, look at my 4th photo, even this area has paint eroding from the edge.
I had them replace a grill on a Subaru. They did excellent work and they were very easy to work with. Great location if your in the area. I will certainly use them again.
T & J Auto Body Repair. Local North Arlington, One block from Clarendon Metro Car repair Place full service. I had some work done on my 2 cars Chrysler 300 M and Mercedes Benz S320. Very honest people. Last time I went at 8 AM and car was ready by 9 AM while I had small breakfast next door at Northside Social Coffee. Place does not only repair but full service Body Work and hard to get tires. I am very happy.
Great location and fast service. Needed an estimate for body work and it took 5 minutes, literally. Price was reasonable too, and I did end up getting the work done there (hood and headlights and bumper repair from rear ending someone) and the car looked fantastic when it was done.
Had a good experience here. I live in MD but work in VA and this place is 1 block from the orange line metro that I use so it was pretty easy to go here and metro to work close by. I was in an accident (not my fault) where someone hit me from the side and crushed both doors and broke windows. The repairs took 4 days (they said it would take 3-4 days) and everything looks good as new so I can't complain. Friendly people, no fuss.
Good people at this shop and good quality work. Getting an estimate was very quick and the job was done in the 2 days they said it would be. Price was fair. Not much else to say, I recommend this place.
T&J's is a great local auto shop. I don't know if it's because I'm a terrible driver or unlucky (or both), but I've had a some minor and major car accidents, and T&J's has helped me out on both.
I first went there when I got in a fender bender with my 3-series. It was the other driver's fault, and T&J worked directly with the insurance company to get it taken care of. It only took a few weeks to get everything taken care of, including insurance.
A few years later, I was in a pretty bad car crash when another drive ran a red light and smashed into the front of my car. I called around a few shops, and while T&J's estimate wasn't the lowest, they were still competitive and I knew they could do the job. When I got the car back, it was perfect! They got everything lined up like it was straight from the factory, and the paint color match was spot on. It looked and felt like a new car.
The owner and his team are pros who care about their customers, and it shows in their work and reputation.
Getting in a car accident sucks, but if it happens, you can't go wrong with T&J's.
I borrowed a friend's car and had a run in with a column in a parking garage in Arlington and sorta crushed part of the door/fender. Not wanting to ruin my friend's insurance I decided to pay for it myself and got some estimates and decided on T&J based on positive reviews. They are indeed professional and did a great job, and you can tell they really know what they are doing. One tip, you can show up anytime for an estimate but you need to make an appointment to actually drop the car off for them to repair it. I got a little confused about that part. Anyway, when you bust up your friend's ride it helps to have a solid business like this to save the friendship, lol.
I had a dent and red paint on my car from hitting a cement pillar, and T&J made it look brand new. The dent is completely gone and the paint matches the exact color of my car. Their pricing is very competitive and the turn around was very quick. I would recommend coming here for auto repairs.
My vehicle was damaged at Dr Carwash (5895- Bailey's 5919 VA-244 Bailey's Crossroads, VA 22041), and the owner refused to even have a discussion with me about it. After getting several quotes, and reading several reviews, I decided to let Juan fix my car. Being that this was an out of pocket expense, he gave me a great price, and took the time to do the job right. Even after having to repair cracks in the rear bumper that he didn't see, he honored the price quoted.
The location of this place is also in a nice area - near the Clarendon metro stop.
Was very disappointed with this shop after good reviews. I went on to get an estimate and they not only charged me 400$ more for fixing my car they told me it would be over $1,000 to fix my car and then rudely walked away before I could ask why it would be so expensive. When I said I was interested in investigating other options they said "figures." I ended up going somewhere else and had a much better experience.
Best garage in the entire metro DC area. These guys are super friendly, fast and efficient. The prices are amazing and they do beautiful work. I will never take my cars anywhere else!!!
