We've had excellent experiences with this Mr. Tire location over many years. They are very knowledgeable and very honest. They take good care of our vehicles and at the same time are proactive in trying to save us money and unnecessary repairs. We trust them -- how often do you say that about a car service place?? We highly recommend and will keep returning.
There were quite a few things when I first made my appointment for 10 AM and went to the shop. They did not have my appointment. The same person that took the appointment said that I was able to use a coupon for the oil change at tire rotation, however when I went there, the gentleman at the counter, said I was unable to use conventional oil, even though I told gentleman who made the appointment a year make, and model of my car. The gentleman at the counter said my car could only take synthetic oil which was over double the price. After reviewing all the charges on the receipt, there is a $25 shop fee in which I asked the cashier what that was and he said all shops charge this. Again, I asked what this was for. And he said I really don’t know it just a fee… Last night at least the next day when I got up to go to work, my back rear tires For 5 pounds lower entire pressure and my low tire pressure warning light came on. I reached out to customer service and they said they couldn’t do anything about it unless I had pictures of all of it. Unfortunately, my experience there and communication along with the low tire pressure after they balanced and realign them was off was a bad experience. Worst off customer service didn’t help one bit.
Did not have a good experience at this Mr. Tire location. Had an appointment for a routine oil change and tire rotation. Got there and was told I needed to wait at least an 90 minutes. I have work obligations and was told to come back at another time. I made another appointment. Another hour and a half. In addition, I had a Mr. Tire coupon for a full synthetic oil change. Yet the sticker on my car indicated I received at best a blend, not full synthetic. Called the store manager, evasive response. Sloppy job on their part, wheels have a grinding sound on the highway where there was non before. In the past, I have had good customer service experience with Mr. Tire. Not so this time, be very careful with this Mr. Tire location.
If they mess up on your car it’s because they are drunk on the job. Heard tech slur his words while arguing to the manager about not caring about a customer, drinking out back of the shop..
Didn’t have the best experience here. Came in on a Sunday due to my normal automotive/tire spot being closed. My tire monitor was reading low and I spotted a screw. They said it couldn’t be fixed and quoted me $280 for a comparable tire. I was told my tire wasn’t in stock. Declined and had them put on the spare. Visited my normal shop on Monday and was told I didn’t need a new tire. The tire could be fixed. Highly recommend One Stop Automotive and Tires in Arlington. Take your business their way.
My tires were getting old and I saw a slash on one. I had a long drive to do on Sunday. Mr. Tire was open and I got new tires, balance and alignment in under 90 minutes. Thanks, Mr. Tire. And the price was fair too.
All staff , Especially Eric, were extremely helpful. I had a new tire mounted and a tire alignment. I will certainly use the services again when I need them.
Had a great experience with Garrett and the team. A different Mr Tire franchise botched an alignment job (crooked steering wheel) and refused to fix it in time for a roadtrip. These guys got me in with 15 minutes notice and fixed it in an hour! Highly recommended. PS - avoid the Falls Church location, use this one instead. Night and day difference.
One of the few places I can take my car and trust they are not trying to up sell me. Always very honest and straightforward with me. I will be taking my car there again whenever anything comes up!

Made an appointment for an alignment and brought the car in at scheduled time. Garrett had my car back to me in an hour. It was fast, efficient and much more reasonably priced than the dealer. I am a repeat customer at the Arlington Lamgston Blvd location.
This is my new go to for vehicle services. My visit/experience was excellent at this location. The service was quick, professional, and very courteous. I highly recommend this location! It has the look and smell of a business that has been there for a long time, which to me, says they have been doing well and reminds me of going with my dad to the shop when I was a kid. They even took me in early and didn’t try to upsell me services, simply put a few notes for the future. Thank you for the peace of mind and I will drive the 25 miles to go there now that I have moved.
This location has serviced my Ford Explorer for several years. Had a full break service performed in February so when a low brake fluid alarm lit up in August I took it in. Once the issue was diagnosed on my right rear, the team informed me that the work would be performed under their warranty (I didn't even have to ask) and while they had it lifted they performed some preventative work on the left rear as well. Really appreciate the extra effort and the hassle free experience.
I purchased 2 front tires and installment from website and picked up a time for appointment. When I arrive there they said they dont have the tire so I need to pay for the full price and installment fee to order it. Tires arrived next day and they installed it in an hour. When I drove the car front end was jumping around like a basketball. So I checked the tire pressure with 2 different device and car’s own system they put 47PSI pressure to tires. Inside of the door placard says 30-33PSI. Looks like they dont care about tire pressure.
I cannot recommend this chain or particular store in good faith. They make their money off commission and overprice parts. Unfortunately, I couldnt get any work done at a mom and pop shop as they were fully booked. I was supposed to have my rear schocks replaced so I could drive safely home to New York. However, during my drive I noticed the same issues I was having before the work was done. 10 days later I take it in to my local guy thinking it was the rear tires. Turns out, the new shocks were completely blown out due to the mechanic’s failure to also replace the old and corroded rear mounts. When I called Mr. Tire, the mechanic was confused as to how that would have caused the issues I was having. Really? I needed a completely new set and they blew out in less than 10 days
. Additionally, my local mechanic found that the Mr. Tire folks broke one of the original bolts on the driver’s side rear shock. They did a shady job of fitting a bigger bolt to cover their tracks. Now the structural integrity of that shock is compromised. This was confirmed at the Monro I brought it to so I could get the shocks replaced under warranty. It’s a shame that I have to give this place even one star.
This location does not consistently honor service appointments. I scheduled a simple tire repair a few days in advance and received a text before the appointment asking me to rate the service, suggesting it may have been entered incorrectly. I called to confirm, and they couldn’t find me on the schedule, so I rebooked. I was told the repair would take 30-45 minutes with an appointment. However, when I arrived on time (minute or two early, actually), I was informed they were too busy and that the car tire repair would be handled in a few hours. No apology, no advance notice, and no acknowledgment that my appointment held any weight. If this business chooses to offer appointments, they should honor them. Otherwise, they should be transparent and operate on a walk-in-only basis. As it stands, the process is unreliable and frustrating.
I originally came in on Sunday afternoon for an alignment. Called to ask about availability and was told to bring the car in. When I arrived, a short elderly man with long grey hair was at the counter (assuming he is the manager because he was the only one there) Not only was he rude and condescending towards me, but when I told him I had a Groupon, he started laughing and shaking his head…. I should’ve just left then and there, but it was a good price so I stayed. When it was done and I came to collect my paperwork, the same gentleman tried to get me to pay the difference between the Groupon (84.99$) and a regular alignment (150$) I told him the point of the Groupon was to save money, and that if I had known I had to pay the difference, I would’ve gone somewhere else. He eventually gave in and honored the Groupon, but was extremely rude through the whole process. When I left, I was glad the situation was over with and never planned to return.
When I got home, I parked my car until 3 AM when I had to go to work. When I got in the car, discovered that my rear driver side tire was flat. Of course first I tried to find a nail or puncture, but when I could not find anything, I realized I had to contact the Mr Tire. On Monday morning, unfortunately, the same older man attended to me. He told me that it was impossible that his mechanics made any mistake and that I must’ve had ran over something- without even looking at the tire. He told me it would be 59$ to repair the tire, so I decided to just take the loss and not bother arguing with a person that had already treated me with so much disrespect. Eventually, four hours later, I got a call from him saying that the tire was not able to be repaired and that I needed to buy a new one. I told him I would pick up the car with the spare tire on it. I picked it up Monday night, happy that I would never have to see that grumpy old guy again.
Honestly, I was shocked that my experience was this bad since I’ve had such good experiences here in the past with Omar and another gentleman (forgot his name) that does inspections.
I’m disappointed in this brand as a whole for hiring a person that so obviously hates his job. I understand some people have bad days, but the way that he was talking down to me, and treating me like I was a child was unacceptable. Needless to say, I will never be returning.
The service was excellent and very efficient. Garrett, the service technician, was especially helpful—he not only checked whether the tire could be patched but also completed the work quickly. Highly recommend this store!
Ryan Thompson (did I spell that right?) provided excellent customer service! I hit a rock & busted my tire—no up-sell, no “you need all 4 new”, no hassle—just straight forward, kind, friendly service. Listened to what I wanted, ordered the exact tire, installed it and called me as soon as ready. I’ve lived nearby for 20+ years and had been avoiding Mr. Tire due to bad experience years ago, but it has really turned around. Thank you!!
Didn’t honor my appointment. Couldn’t even get the job done same-day. It’s a single tire mount and balance, which takes 15mins to do. Should’ve been some communication if the shop was too busy to take me rather than me finding out when I arrived with the vehicle.
Very unfriendly and dismissive service. Despite an 11am appointment for a state safety inspection, I was told the wait would be up to a full day. When I asked about a rattling noise in the front of my car, the attendant brushed me off with "at least" $100 for diagnostics — clearly just to get rid of me. For a basic issue, the diagnostic cost should be clear. The supervisor initially said it was $100, but then avoided giving a straight answer and simply backed his colleague...
I went in for an oil change and waited for it. I was told I would be out of there in an hour. It took 90 minutes. I had received a coupon in the mail from Mr. Tire for $20 off an oil change. The guy who checked me out said he had never seen that coupon before and argued with me about accepting it. Poor customer service.
I was a walk in with a tire failure due to severe puncture. Took me in immediately so they could get me back on the road ASAP. Installed new tire and I was on my way within half hour. I understand tires and felt totally comfortable with their pricing and recommendations. Wish I had this kind of professional service in my home area. Definitely recommend Mr Tire!!
Mr Tire saved my life when hours to start a road trip, I got a flat on my Rav4. In less than 2 hours they had fixed the flat and my car was ready to go again. You just won a customer, I will be back very soon for my car maintenance.
Couldn’t even greet their guests at the desk or look at them in the face. Just set behind the computer and couldn’t even approach the front. Also no one was there inside, but one person. I guess because they’re “busy”, business etiquette goes out the door. Told me it would be 3-4 hours. I did already purchase the services needed for oil change the day before, but was told to come back Sunday, and since it will be Sunday, first come first serve. Now I wish I hadn’t already purchased services from them for my car. But I did so now I’m stuck with them.
Went for a wheel rotation and alignment. They completely screwed up my alignment and had to get it fixed elsewhere. Do not go to these people, can’t even be trusted to do an alignment properly. Photo attached of measurements after I got it fixed somewhere else.
I had a terrible experience at this location of Mr. Tire . If I could give a negative stars, I would. I scheduled an appointment on Friday, and brought my car in on Sunday. I got in, they had no record of my appointment, but agreed to take the car for a scheduled rotation and balance. I called multiple times to get an update on the car, and heard nothing. It took them almost 5 hours to get the work done.
When I went to pick up the car, I asked the person at the front desk and the technician a few questions regarding the brakes and tires, but they had no interest in helping any further, and were extremely rude and dismissive.
I will never bring my car back to this location, and will tell friends and family to avoid it at all costs. I had a great experience with Mr. Tire in Fairfax (Fairfax Circle), And will give them my business in the future.
In addition to the extremely poor service, The shop itself is in complete disrepair both in the waiting room area and the service bays. (See photos).
