This was my first time going to Mr. tire on recommendation and my experience was great. Jason at the front was very helpful with explaining to me what I was paying for and what all I needed done and why. When I scheduled my appointment online, I selected a specific tire, but it ended up being discontinued. The manager roland was very helpful and ordered me replacement tires that were similar to the ones I had picked out and also made sure that I was still able to have the discount that i had with the original tires. Definitely will come back.

Mr. Tire replaced my vehicle's 4 tires at a reasonable price and great timing. The customer service was superb from the first phone call with Rolando to the day of service. Many thanks to their service team, especially Rolando!

Very Disappointed. I used to go to Mr. Tire and they were somewhat honest. My recent experience: I spent $135 for a diagnostic because my car wouldn't start, and jumping it didn't work, even though the lights all came on when turning the ignition. So I thought it was something serious (alternator, etc.). Managed to get it started and drove it to this Mr. Tire, and the results of this expensive diagnostic? I needed a new battery. How much were they going to charge for this very simple replacement (I have a Honda, which is the easiest battery replacement)? $435! $250 for the battery and nearly $ 200 for the labor. He started to tell me about all the diagnostic tests and things he. had done, and I had no idea what he was saying —it seemed he tried to intentionally confuse me by throwing out a lot of jargon. I told them I would call them back. I found out that AutoZone will just do it for free if you buy a battery. I told them that other places had quoted me about $200, and the man panicked, immediately lowering the price to $250. When I told him no and came to pick up the car he blamed the shop for setting the prices so high. It's a real shame. I used to go to Mr. Tire and they were fairly honest. I understand the desire to upsell me on future maintenance--they always do that--but to just quote me that price after a simple yet expensive diagnostic (and then try to confuse me with incoherent technical jargon) is absurd. Just take your car to AutoZone if you need a battery replacement. Never going back here.

I’m very disappointed in the service at this location. From the moment I walked in, the lady at the front desk was rude and unwelcoming. I barely stepped through the door before she said, “I’m busy right now, I can’t help you.” No hello, no offer to check availability—just attitude. Meanwhile, the garage was practically empty, and one of the workers was literally laid back in a chair doing nothing (see photos). They claimed to be fully booked, but it didn’t look like any real work was happening. Unprofessional, unpleasant, and completely disrespectful. I won’t be coming back, and I don’t recommend this place to anyone.

This used to be my go to place for car maintenance, but not anymore. It was the customer service that kept bringing me back and clearly that is no longer a priority. Today when I went in to get my car serviced no one greeted me, or even acknowledged my existence. One employee had their food out on the counter and the other couldn't be bothered to look up from their phone. That is until someone they knew came in, then everyone was ready to chat - just not with the customer. So, since you don't appear to need my business I'm happy to take it somewhere that does.

I recommend to everyone not to go to this Mr. Tire branch at all, because they are very unprofessional. I went to this branch today (July 27) to change my car oil. Although I had previously purchased a ticket for a full synthetic oil change, filter change, and tire rotation at Mr. Tire from the Groupon app for $70, I was again forced to pay an additional $42.50 to this Mr. Tire branch. When they gave me my car after an hour, they said everything was done but they hadn't rotated my car's tires. When I told them why they didn't do it, instead of apologizing, the girl at the reception desk treated me very angrily and in a bad tone and said that your tires are of poor quality and we don't rotate them. I told them that my car's tires are in good condition and since I bought a full package ticket, you should complete it or refund me the rotation money. But the girl at the reception desk said that they would neither rotate the tires or give me any money. I tried to talk to the Mr.tire customer service, but after half an hour of waiting on the phone, no one answered. Also when I picked up my car, My car maintenance section had not restarted and they removed the old stickers from the window and put it under my chair car, and the car was very dirty. I have been to another Mr. Tire branch on Columbia Pike many times and their work is very professional, but this branch is very unprofessional and rude.

Negative after negative. Read reviews. My car is still at the shop. I am not paying unprofessional, rude and no knowledge. Car came with bad front tires, one side was totally damaged to the wires, while one side had brand new threads. On those type of tires they did alignment, and then they proceeded with installation of tires I brought in, to realize that one tire is no good. They are asking me to pay for service that makes no sense to be done in first place. Their crazy suggestion is to put one new tire and one used on the front axle, different brands. Crazy. Will not go through. I will do all it takes to make things right.

I was taken advantage of without a doubt. Was offered a $200 with a $100 discount just for them to look at the car. Had them do a “courtesy” alignment check instead which they felt might be the issue. They said it needs an alignment, which ended up being $215. Had to wait over 3 hours for it to get done with just two people ahead of me. It ended up not being the root cause of the issue. A competitor close by inspected the car for free and said that many customers find this location to have predatory practices and exaggerate how much is needed to “investigate” the issue. My car ended up only needing a rebalance and rotation (it is less than a year old). Which was much cheaper and took less than 30mins to do. At the very least, they could have taken a few minutes to investigate the root cause - which another location did in less than 10 minutes. Instead, they had me wait for hours and exaggerated an alignment issue that was ultimately did not resolve the issue that was explained clearly to them. Never coming here again and wish I could dispute this transaction

First off, they did not honor my expired Groupon. You are supposed to honor the purchase value of the expired Groupon. The man at the desk just straight up said "We don't do expired Groupons." I have contacted Groupon support about this. This was a real inconvenience. Secondly, I was told by the front desk person that my oil change was going to take 45 minutes. It actually took 2.5 hours..

I went to Mr. Tire having ordered a new set of wheels and tires online. They were delivered to the shop, and I requested that the shop transfer my OEM tire pressure monitors (TPM) to the new wheels and tires. They did this for three out of the four tires. But on number four, they BROKE the TPM, tried to spackle it back together poorly, and didn’t have the guts to tell me about it. You can imagine I was pretty surprised when I started getting TPMS fail lights on my car. When I finally brought it to a reputable repair shop, they showed me the piece, which had remained, broken in my tire since Mr. Tire on Four Mile Run Drive so badly mutilated it. Want to know how much a new one costs from a reputable repair shop? $250 plus labor. Mr. Tire, through their complete incompetence, broke my car parts, and didn’t even have the common decency to tell me. I caution you to stay far, far away from this shop if you value your car and its OEM parts. In the photos, you can see the technician’s shoddy attempt to cover their tracks.

1-Star Review: Extremely Disappointed and Concerned - Requesting Full Refund My experience with Mr. Tire was exceptionally poor, resulting in significant inconvenience, wasted time, and potential financial misconduct. I strongly advise others to reconsider using their services. I had a confirmed appointment for 6:00 PM on May 29th. I rushed directly from work to ensure I arrived on time, only to be told upon arrival, with a dismissive "uh oh," that they couldn't honor my appointment and I should "just come back tomorrow morning." There was no apology for this complete disregard of my scheduled time or the inconvenience caused. The next morning, I returned at 9:00 AM as instructed. I specifically requested an oil change, tire rotation, and filter change. Despite being told the previous day that the service would take approximately an hour, it took an inexcusable 2.5 hours, making me significantly late for work. To my dismay, upon inspecting my vehicle, I discovered they did not rotate my tires despite charging me for the service. I could clearly tell because one tire has a distinct hub cap design and a different colored valve cap, which remained in its original position. This is unacceptable and amounts to being charged for a service that was not rendered. Furthermore, they attempted to upsell me on a false repair. I was told, "Your coolant is EMPTY!" and that it would cost $105 to fix it on the spot. Suspecting this was inaccurate, I declined the service. Later, I purchased coolant from Advanced Auto Parts to add it myself, only to find that my coolant reservoir was completely full. This fraudulent claim is deeply concerning and indicates a serious lack of integrity. I paid a total of $110 for services that were either poorly executed, not performed at all, or based on deceptive claims. This entire experience has been one of pure frustration and feels like a complete scam. I demand a full refund for the $110 I paid for these services. I will be pursuing this directly with the business and, if necessary, through my credit card company due to the misrepresentation and unperformed services.

Never coming back here — very disappointing. I had a flat tire due to a nail and came in clearly explaining the issue. I ended up waiting five hours just to be told they couldn’t fix it. Went to another (normal!) shop and got it repaired perfectly in 30 minutes

Went into this location and there was only one person in the waiting room. He was on the phone with someone else who clearly worked for the company — I could tell because they were discussing how to capture notes in the system. I stood there for over 10 minutes without being acknowledged. Eventually, I walked up and asked if I could do a drop-off state inspection. He told me they don’t have a state inspector at this location. That’s not a big deal, but the lack of basic acknowledgment or care was disappointing. As I was leaving, I noticed a small sign about inspections at the lot entrance, but it wasn’t obvious — that part’s on me, but he still could’ve saved me time by saying something when I walked in. Later, after getting my car registered at the DMV, I came back to ask if someone could help me put the plate on since I didn’t have tools. The manager told me to go ask a tech in the back, and the tech said it would be $20 cash just to screw on a plate. This place has zero hospitality. I would’ve given them a 5-star review if they had just helped me put my plate on. It’s clear they have no interest in helping unless it benefits them. I wouldn’t trust them with my car, especially considering they don’t even have a certified state inspector on-site.

Had appointment for tire rotation at 1pm. Simple, $25 service. They kept me waiting over an hour while they conducted an unasked for "courtesy inspection" and then proceeded to tell me I needed an additional $1500 in work done. Look, I appreciate the hustle but they wasted my time on something my mechanic told me later was not a problem. After denying this extra service, I had to stand at the counter and continue insisting that the just complete the service I came in for and let me go about my business. This experience was mildly infuriating.

I came to this location about a month and a half ago to get an oil change, and was urgently pressured to get an alignment and brake fluid change as they said it could damage my car. I held off, and came back last week to get an alignment - after receiving the results, I saw that NOTHING HAD BEEN CHANGED, and I did not even need alignment. I got completely scammed into something I didn’t need in the least bit, and I think it’s extremely disappointing to do this to someone who you know you may be taking advantage of. Do better, I will never be back.

Very angry and disappointed of the service ,or lack there of that I receive today Sunday 5,2025. I pulled up to this location @10am and walked in and spoke to a young woman who had black hair and glasses , she was fair skinned and possibly Hispanic origin. I told her I was here to get an alignment done on my 2018 Toyota Corolla . She told me that they was pretty busy and that I would have to leave my car there for a couple of hours. I told her that was fine, so I gave her my information because it was my first time at this location . Handed my keys and left, about 3 pm I decided to call the store since I haven’t heard from anyone at this point. I spoke to a women who told me that they i working on a car that was before minds and then mine would be next, then she gone on to tell me that my car would be ready before 5 ( since they close @ this time) I said ok . I leave my job at 4:30 to go to the store to pick my car up , I walk in to find three females sitting behind the counter on their cell phones and no customers in the store . I told the young woman who I talked to when I dropped the car off that I was here to pick my car up ,she then tells me that my car haven’t been worked on and she was going to find out what was going on . I said look just hand my keys back ( this is ridiculous) . I seriously hope the Supervisor /Manager of this store takes actions because this was the worst experience I have ever had to endure. If no actions are taken that would explain why the service was and is the way it is .

I was on a trip from out of town and got a flat tire. I made it to the closest shop which was this one. It took 3 full days for the right tire to come, which is strange in a major metro area, and one that has 8 other Mr Tire locations. They tried to add brake fluid for $120, when I just took it to my Toyota dealership the week prior for an oil change and they said all other fluids were fine. Why were they looking at other things when all I needed was the flat tire replaced? When I went to pick up the car, the hood was left unlatched. Good thing I checked before I drove off! I was not aware that changing a tire required going under the hood. And on top of that my steering is tight and the steering wheel is now off centered- it's now noticeably turned to the right when driving straight. See photos. The final bill for 2 tires and an alignment was insane. I get there's "inflation" but I might as well have been robbed. Don't bring your car here. Get AAA and have it towed to one of the approved facilities. This shop isn't one for good reason :) Update: Just got back from my Toyota dealership and had to get another alignment done. They said it was done completely wrong and that some components were left fully loose which is why the steering was tight and not balanced. Basically I was lucky that the wheels didn't fly off :)

I have been to this place twice within the past 2 weeks because my tire sensor came on my dashboard. Last week I was told there was no time for anyone to check my car because there was only one person and he was busy. Today I went again and the receptionist told me she text the guy and to drive my car to the back. When I drove there, he immediately shut the gate down in front of me. I find this very rude. I am willing to pay for my services, simply looking for help but this is not the right way to treat your customers.

I almost lost my car's engine On October 3rd, I went to Mr. Tire on Four Mile Run Drive in Arlington, VA, for an oil change. The next day, a warning appeared on my car's dashboard indicating a problem with the engine oil. I hadn't driven the car much since then, but suddenly, on October 17th, I received a warning that the engine oil was depleted and I needed to stop immediately. Fortunately, I stopped at a nearby mechanic, who added oil and informed me that “the previous shop that did the oil change did not replace the oil plug and that they found it damaged”. When I returned to Mr. Tire to ask for clarification, they told me that they do not change the oil plug during an oil change and that there was no evidence the oil plug was damaged during that process. They said this could happen at any time after repeated oil changes. However, I still have a lingering question: why did this happen immediately after I had my oil changed there? I asked a third technician for their opinion, and they responded: “Yes, a technician can cause damage to the oil drain plug during an oil change. This can happen if the plug is over-tightened, cross-threaded”. Fortunately, I didn't lose the car's engine after all this.

Install of tires was fine. Things were timely. However I was left with greasy/dirty smudges on my interior of my driver side door. How hard is it to wear gloves?! For this reason I do not plan to return to Mr. Tire and will not recommend and will discourage others from using it. The lack of care astounds me. UPDATr: Seems the owner responded to my review. I’ll keep the apology in mind as I go spend my money to buy cleaning supplies and spend my free time cleaning up their mess. Wonderful!!!

Initial service was fine, but had three different lights go off the next day. Took it in to have it looked at and the lights suddenly aren’t on anymore. Ok, fine, they take it in the back to check ‘the history’ on it anyways. When they bring my car back to the front to pass it off to me, claiming nothing at all, the dash cam is unplugged and video is deleted from it. I would’ve believed the lights had not shown for them if they hadn’t gone through my dash cam.

I have never given a google review but this was too much. If i could give zero or a negative rate I would for this place. Very unprofessional people, requested a quote online, then visited the store. The lady in the front desk gave me false information about the Service center being closed on October 10, 2022. Still I ended up going on sunday to place the deposit for the tires I needed. Having my rims being in PERFECT condition (just had them refinished by a professional shop) was the first thing i mentioned and asked if they have capable technicians and machines to perform the job. The answer i got was yes. Took my car for the tires to be replaced today, during drop off they mentioned they had to charge me more for the installation given the type of tires even though I had a quote for a lower price, I accepted and hoped for a professional job to be performed. The technician damaged and scratched the 4 rims of my car. When I brought this to the staff they gave unconvincing and pathetic excuses. I called MONRO to report this inadequate service. I still payed full amount for the service. Additionally when I was paying the bill and asked about the damaged done to my rims the person at the front desk told me it wasnt his problem and i should talk to corporate, he was rude and disrespectful. Staff at Mr Tire, getting angry and being unprofessional with a customer is not the way to fix the problem. Please find attached pictures of the damages made to my rims. If youre a person that expect to have a professional and clean job done dont go to this place, they are far from giving a good service in all aspects.

Their very expensive. They tried to tell me I need all four tires and that I won't pass inspection without replacement. I went to another dealer and they told me the opposite. I got my tire repaired, alignment and passed my inspection. These guys are only out there for the money. Only reason I came to then, because everyone else in a 5 mile radius is booked until next week. There is a reason why their not booked.

I highly recommend Mr. Tire at the Four Mile Drive location!! I first came in for a damaged tire and they were able to go get the right tire from another location right away! They have great customer service and I never felt as though i was being taken advantage of as a female walking into an auto shop. They are up front about the facts and what is needed which i think is a great quality in an auto shop. Plus they allow my dog to sit and wait with me!!
