Service: wheel bearing and abs sensor replacement
I was hoping this would be an in and out for a simple oil change. But the mechanic was late and I had to drop my vehicle.
- They had a offer to include wheel rotation and fluid inspection on the car. My wheels weren't rotated and I never got the report on the other inspections
- Pricing is deceptive as they charged extra and asked me to submit a Valvoline discount request online
Won't go here again as this was more expensive, incomplete work, and delayed delivery
A couple of days ago, I went to the Chris Brown concert. Just four miles away from the venue, I busted two tires — an 2hrs away from home. I went into full panic mode trying to figure out what to do. I called a tow truck company and needed to find a place that could fix my tires and allow me to still make it to the concert and pick my truck up afterward. The customer service went above and beyond to take Care and I got two new tires on my truck for a very decent price
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I have taken several cars here, no matter the problem they always resolve it quickly and for a fair price. Extremely communicative and friendly staff. Big shout out to Mohammed!
Location is good since you can metro/bus around while they have your car and there are plenty of coffee shops and restaurants nearby.

Mr. Tire, at this location, is the best! They not only had my unusual tire size in stock, but I was in a bind and actually took a lift over to their shop to get two tires.
They went above and beyond, helping me when the lift came. The lift driver did not want to take me because I had 2 tires with me ...but the manager came out and assisted me not only with bringing the tires out, but in getting me into the Lyft driver pass his unfiunded objections.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
This place is amazing. Dropped in 45 minutes before close with a new sound and they got it in, diagnosed it and FIXED it so fast. Everyone was so nice and knowledgeable. I will definitely be going back there for any car needs I have. 10/10 would recommend to a friend!!!
This is an incredibly overdue review for service from earlier this year, but I wanted to ensure I still left it! During a previous oil change at the car dealership, I was told that I needed an alignment. I decided to take my car to Mr. Tire for a second opinion. The customer service was very friendly and honest, and they were quick looking over my car. Although they had the chance to also say I needed an alignment, they told me that I did not. My car is 8 years old with only 30k miles on it. The tires are older, yes, but they are fine and no sort of alignment was needed. I appreciated the honest result!
Charged 4x as much as the last place I got the same service done. Took two days to even start the diagnostics on the car and were very uncommunicative. I had to call requesting information, they never one called me to let me know when to expect information, progress, etc.
The online booking and phone service booking were not working but Mohammed promptly followed up and got me in a little later that day. The service was excellent; they changed my tire, filled all tires and replaced the spare. I recommend!
The store manager, Muhammed, went above and beyond to help us. He spent hours assisting with our issue, even though he wasn’t obligated to. His dedication, patience, and genuine willingness to make sure everything was handled properly truly impressed us. It’s rare to find someone so committed to customer service. Because of his professionalism and kindness, we’ll definitely be coming back to this location. Highly recommended!
Last week I went to Mr. Tire to see if they could break the bead on one side of a tire that I would bring in so to replace the Tire Pressure Sensor. All I could afford so had to replace it myself. I am in my 70s and have serious permanent spinal degenerate issues so very limited as to what I can now do with car repairs. Ten years ago did most myself. However not only did the Mr Tire break the tire bead for me but installed the TPS sensor they ask me to give them. When I at least offered a tip they refused! Made me feel good to experience good hearted workers in a place of business like this again. My late wife would had brought all of them a big country cooked lunch one day soon!! Now when I need my inspection or eventually need new tires I know I will be visiting Mr. Tire Center on 2503 North Franklin Road in Arlington, Virginia. Thank all of you at Mr Tire David
They took me even though I had no appointment, and gave me a great price on new tires. Which I didn't realize I needed (having only gone in for an oil change) - they likely saved me either a complete highway blowout on the way to Maine, or a collision. Y'all, my tires were BAD. And I didn't realize this was why the entire engine shook every time I accelerated. I just kind of accepted it as an old car quirk, you know?
Anyway, cheers from Maine! The new tires even come with better mileage. I'm genuinely very happy with my service.
The key for my car fob died and I could not get it open to replace the battery. I brought it to this shop and they spent 10 minutes opening the fob and replacing the battery for me free of charge. The workers were so friendly and helpful.
Muhammad is awesome to work with. Been going here for years with several of my cars and they are quick, honest and do what they can to help you. Always recommend this place. It’s also convenient to drop off and pick up since metro is a block away.
Terrible customer service experience. Came in on Saturday for an oil change and was told I needed an appointment. Fair enough - I left the shop, went online within 5 minutes, and scheduled for Sunday at 12 PM through their booking system.
Within an hour of booking, I get a call asking me to reschedule from Sunday to Wednesday instead. When I tried to explain that I specifically booked a weekend appointment because I work during weekdays, the employee rudely hung up on me mid-sentence.
This is completely unprofessional behavior. If you can’t honor the appointments your own online system accepts, don’t offer weekend booking. And hanging up on customers who are trying to communicate their scheduling needs is inexcusable.
I’ll be taking my business elsewhere. Would not recommend this location to anyone.
Great service from Mohammed! Got a flat tire on my drive to DC and this was the closest shop near me. They got two tires replaced with rotation and alignment within 4 hrs walk-in. Only wish that they gave me the alignment before and after paper to see the result
Great service. My headlights went out in my car and I was able to call and quickly schedule an appointment for the following day. I also got an oil change and the work was speedy and professional. Dropped my car off at 10am and picked it up around 3pm before rush hour. I expected it to take much longer since there were a lot of cars at the shop and they needed to order the proper bulbs for my vehicle. Very pleased with everything.
Very rude and mean attitude having evil front desk customer service person soon as I opened my mouth to inquire of service it’s 12 pm afternoon and he was saying he could take me at all and if I came in the morning still not guaranteed, some people favor certain ethnicities and he is clearly that person I would never recommend or come here again never ever I felt so profiled and uncomfortable I ran out . He looked at me like I was dead wrong for trying to get work done or like I didn’t belong ewwww . God will get justice. 000000 stars
We were traveling from out of town and Mohamed very kindly took care to make sure we were safe to travel home. It ended up that there was nothing wrong and he did not charge us for the time and labor. I highly recommend this shop!
while visiting DC on vacation the battery on my rental died. After Enterprise Roadside jumped me off I spoke with the local office and they referred me to Mr Tire to have the battery replaced. I called and spoke to Mohammad to be sure he had a battery to fit a Jeep Grand Wagoneer L. He did and I told him
I would be there as soon a possible. He saw me pull up and came outside to greet and and instructed me where to park! He and his amazing crew had a new battery in the vehicle and had me back on the road within 20 minutes!!!! Unbelievable customer service. If you are in this area and need anything they offer I highly recommend them!!!
Trustworthy team to look after your car. I was looking for a mechanic in Arlington and stopped by here and they did some routine maintenance (changing brake fluid, rotating tires, installing a new battery) with no hassle. They also helpfully gut-checked some additional work the dealer had suggested but was not really necessary and saved me a bunch of money in the process.
If you ever come on Sunday they apparently don’t honor there words what so ever because I literally made an appointment for the next day which was Sunday an guess what open at nine on the door and windows, and my appointment is at 9:30 an no one is here this is poor service, and very dishonest…
Came in for low air in my tires after work without an appointment and they were able to help me patch up two spots in my tire in less than hour. Mohammad kept me updated every step of the process and made me feel taken care of with all my car needs and questions while Noori worked on the car. This place is so efficient with the best service. Will definitely be back if I have any other car issues, thank you for taking the stress out of my day!
Wonderful service!! I was so lucky to get the low pressure alert 15 minutes away from this Mr. Tire. The team was super quick with two patches in 45 minutes. Eric was super attentive and kept me updated through the whole process! Super thankful for everyone who helped.
Beware. Had emergent brake issue on my truck and resorted to this shop. They claimed experience doing the work. Over 3 days later I hear that they're having trouble bleeding the system. Another 5 days and many confirmations from them that they fixed and tested it. Picked it up and braking system had barely any pressure. Barely safe to drive to my home mechanic. $516 additional to fix the fact that this shop installed calipers backwards and then continuously lied that they fixed and tested. Next step BBB and perhaps lawyer.
I’m honestly not sure what to say. I came in on a Thursday to get all four of my tires changed. I dropped the car off at 7:30 a.m., and the service wasn’t finished until 6:45 p.m. And the best part? They forgot to put one lug nut on EACH of my tires.
I had an extremely disappointing experience at this location.
Despite scheduling an appointment in advance to wait in-store for a tire rotation and balancing, the staff yelled at me upon arrival when I insisted on staying instead of dropping off my car. The staff claimed I couldn’t wait because they had multiple cars to service that day — ignoring the fact that it was their team who scheduled my appointment and assured me over the phone that I could wait. I adjusted my work schedule based on this information, and I wouldn’t have insisted on waiting if they hadn’t originally told me it was allowed. I'm not sure if the manager was having a bad day, but the treatment was completely unprofessional.
To make matters worse, when I finally got my car back, they had used cheap clip-on weights for balancing instead of the proper stick-on weights that go inside the rim. As a result, my hubcaps no longer fit properly and are now warping against the weights (see photos).
Based on other reviews, I can tell Mohammed is probably a nice guy, but whatever was going on that day, he took it out on me — a customer who was simply following his staff’s instructions. Even though I’m entitled to free balancing and rotations after purchasing a full set of tires from this store (which, by the way, turned out to be the wrong fitment), I likely won’t return.
I’m giving two stars because the car does seem to drive better after the balancing, they replaced the missing valve stem caps on my tires, and they ultimately did complete the work as I waited in the lobby.
I took my 4Runner here and had an amazing experience with Mohammad. He provided excellent service, helped me get great prices on my tires, and even diagnosed a suspension issue I was having. I highly recommend this shop, especially seeing Mohammad
I would give this place a negative rating if I could. This was the worst car-related experience I've ever had. I requested an oil change and 21 point inspection this past January. Despite having an appointment, they took 2 hours to service my car without ever calling to tell me my car was finished (I was at the coffee shop next door and went back to the shop only to find my car sitting idle in the parking lot). The following day, I was two hours into a 6 hour road trip before my low tire pressure light came on. I pulled over into a gas station only to find my tires were all half the ideal PSI, meaning the mechanic didn't fill up my tires. An hour after filling my tires, I started to smell gas whenever I stopped, but I figured it was just because I was around other cars on the highway. Once I arrived at my destination, I checked under the hood and found the mechanic had forgotten to put my oil cap back on. Oil completely coated my engine and other parts under the hood. I immediately took it to a Honda dealership, where I was notified that the dip stick reported there was no oil left in my tank. I drove for hours with little to no oil, which must have wreaked havoc to my engine. After the dealership refilled my oil and cleaned off whatever they could, I went back to this location to report the problem. The guy at the front desk copied all the receipts (though notably "lost them," requiring me to resend them later on). The manager later instructed me that the claim would have to proceed via insurance. I sent her all required information and have not heard from the dealer nor the insurance carrier in 3 weeks to initiate the claim for the money I paid for the oil change plus whatever damage was done on account of this negligence. Unfortunately, the manager is only in two or three days a week, and so getting in touch with her is exceedingly difficult. This is made even worse by her refusal to respond to my emails or return my calls when she is not in the office. I have never been more disappointed in a service nor frustrated by that service's lackluster attempts at customer service. If I don't get a productive response by the end of the week, I'll be filing in small claims court. Stay away from this place unless you want your car damaged and money thrown away.
