When I went back to them to see if there is a chance that they can help, they were rude and unprofessional instead of helping. There is no honesty in their business, and they deceive customers.

I bought a 2018 Chevrolet Malibu Hybrid from these people – biggest mistake of my life. They promised everything:
“Fully inspected,”
“Excellent condition,”
“Ready to drive,”
“No issues at all.”
All LIES. Pure fraud. They smiled in my face and sold me garbage.
The car didn’t even start properly on the first day.
The hybrid battery was DEAD.
The transmission was grinding and broken.
The engine had been swapped – not even original.
The suspension was trash.
Oil leaking everywhere.
Dashboard full of warning lights.
When I called back to report the issues, they didn’t care. No support, no responsibility, no decency. Just silence and disrespect. It’s like once they take your money, you’re dead to them.

I have never in my life been so humiliated, deceived, and hurt by any business like I was by H & R AUTO. This place should be called a junkyard, not a dealership — because what they’re selling are rotting, broken-down corpses of cars, dressed up to look alive.
I bought a car from them with hope in my heart. They told me the engine was strong, transmission perfect, “just serviced, no issues.” Every single word was a lie. These people are liars, cheaters, con artists, and thieves! When I drove the car, the check engine light was off — but now I know they had wiped the codes from the system just to trick me into buying it.
One week after buying it, the nightmare began.
First, the engine failed completely.

But when I bought it, H & R AUTO showed me a fake clean report and said there was no accident, no damage.

⭐ 1 Star – H&R AUTO IS A COMPLETE SCAM! THEY SELL JUNK, NOT CARS!
I’m writing this so nobody else goes through the nightmare I experienced. I bought a car from H&R Auto, and what I got wasn’t a vehicle – it was a disaster on wheels!
At first, everything seemed perfect. The staff at the dealership were overly friendly, fake smiles, acting like they cared. But now I realize it was all just an act. They play nice to gain your trust, but it’s all a trap.
Just 3 hours after buying the car, I started hearing strange noises from the rear wheels. Vibrations, clicking, something was clearly wrong. I took the car back the next day to let them know, and what did they say?
“Did you make an appointment? Why didn’t you call?”
Seriously? Nobody asked me for an appointment when they were taking my money. But now that there’s a problem, suddenly I need a reservation?
They finally agreed to “check” it after pushing hard. But guess what?
Later that same evening, the Check Engine light came on.
I returned again, and this time their attitude changed. Cold, uninterested, and dismissive. They told me, “It’s not our problem, there’s nothing wrong with the car.”
I didn’t trust them anymore, so I took the car to a real mechanic and had it scanned with a diagnostic tool.
And that’s when the nightmare became real:
• Engine system malfunction
• Major hybrid system failure
• Faulty tire pressure sensors
• Electrical communication issues
• Telematics system failure
• Cellular antenna circuit open
• Body control module (BCM) errors
• AND WORST OF ALL: THE ENGINE HAD BEEN REPLACED – it’s not even the original engine!
So what did they sell me? A wreck. A patched-up, repainted, internally broken disaster.
They lied about the condition, hid major problems, and acted like everything was fine.
Let me be 100% clear:
H&R Auto is NOT a trustworthy dealership. They are scammers.
They polish the outside, cover up the damage inside, and unload these broken vehicles on unsuspecting customers.
They offer zero help, take zero responsibility, and blame the customer when things go wrong.
IF YOU BUY A CAR FROM HERE, YOU’RE ASKING FOR TROUBLE.

I bought my car from H&R Auto recently and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Not only were they super helpful and patient during the buying process, but what really stood out to me was the support they gave after I drove off the lot.
They went above and beyond by helping me find reliable places to get oil changes and even bought the oil for me to make it easier — all I had to do was pick it up. They also recommended a trustworthy mechanic they work with in case I ever need repairs at a more affordable price (not that the car had any issues, but it’s good peace of mind).

I bought a 2005 Nissan Murano here in November 2022 for my 82 yr old grandmother. I waited a while to write a review to ensure I’d have no problems with the truck and I have not. We’ve done routine maintenance and with the exception of regular wear and tear of a vehicle that age, we’ve had NO problems. Oscar was patient and not pushy. I got good vibes when I came to the dealership that day and met another gentleman there who bought a car the same day; neither of us had been to H & R before. Meeting him was divine intervention. This purchase was worth the trip from Baltimore and I couldn’t beat this deal for under $5K for my grandma . It had already passed VA state inspection so we had no issues with registration and tags in VA. It didn’t pass MD state inspection, but that’s no reflection on this dealership . I personally think MD just likes to get over and take people’s $$!! This vehicle meets her needs and I am satisfied . I would buy here again and recommend the dealership.
